Johto Grand Festival - She made it into the semi-finals before being beaten, and was part of the top four.
Kanto Grand Festival - The Kanto Grand Festival was her second, and she made it all the way to the finals before being beaten, she was the runner up.
Sinnoh Grand Festival - The Sinnoh Grand Festival was the first grand festival that she has actually won. It was two years after she first started her journey.
Unova Grand Festival - The second grand festival that she won. It was after she had had traveled there from Sinnoh.
→ Even though Ami is a coordinator, she has done a few gym battles here and there, and has battled any other traveler that has stopped her on the road. She has been traveling for three years and as such gained a lot of battle experience from all those unofficail matches.

Ami's battle style is one that is extremely well thought out and detailed. Even if it's sudden battle and she has no information of the trainer she'll spend half the battle obsevering them and finding the best strategy to beat them. She is very calm throughout the entire battle and will not fall for any of the statements meant to provoke her.

Ninetails is the calm and logical one of the group. She hardly ever gets upset, and even when she does, most of the time she'll just let out a sigh and shake her head dramatically.Ninetails is the one that keeps everyone else in line, including Ami. She is a no nonesense pokemon and acts like she's their mother more than just another pokemon like everyone else. She is most of the time gentle and kind in nature, but if angered it's best to just walk away and give her some space to cool down, otherwise you may end up with a bite mark on your hand.

→ Ami actually found her when she was a vulpix, and when Ami was very young. She was very injured so Ami decided to take care and nurse the pokemon back to life. When it was time to let the vulpix go, she had decided to stay with Ami, and the two had been together ever since .
→ When Ami had first started her adventure, a fellow traveler had given her a firestone as a gift, so that Vulpix would be able to evolve into a Ninetails.
→ Ninetails is the one that makes sure that Ami doesn't get herself hopeless lost, and is the one that naviagates them through all the regions. Half the time it's hard to tell who is the trainer and who's the pokemon with their interactions. They get along great though and it's obvious that the two had been together for a long time.
→ Even though Ninetails is a rather agreable pokemon she refuses to stay in a pokeball, and so she walks everywhere.
→ You can often see Ami being led by Ninetails, usually Ninetails has Ami's bag strap in and is actually dragging her around cities and routes.

Glaceon is the resident badass of the team. Despite his ratehr cute appearance and docile first impression, he is the one that will run straight into the action and start fighting. He's quite unruly and stubborn and has a hard time doing what he's told. Glaceon does everything at his own pace, and no matter what anyone says to him, he doesn't really listen. He's always iching for a fight, and loves battling more than he likes doing contests. He can be kind of a space case, and not pay attention when he should be.
misc
→ Ami caught Glaceon when it was still an Eeve and it was her very first pokemon that she had ever caught while still in Johto.
→ Eeve didn't evolve however until they were traveling through Sinnoh, and while on Route 217 near an Icy Rock the timid and docile Eeve had evolved into the unruly Glaceon. Glaceon and Ninetails are the two pokemon that she always travels with regardless of what region she's going to.
→ Glaceon and Ami are two that often do not get along, as Glaceon wants to do only what he wants, not really ever listening to his trainer. They do have moments where they get along but, those are very rare moments, and always includes Ninetails as the peacemaker between them.
→ Does not like Meowstic at all
→ He loves to battle, and has a lot of energy. He is often running off on his own, only to be rounded up by Ninetails. Glaceon also picks fights with Meowstic all the time.
→ Really likes oran berries, so Ami always has an abundance of them as a way to bribe Glaceon

Roselia is the diva and drama queen. She has a true love of clothing and jewelry, and only ever wants high quality food. Roselia can also be quite the flirt and she'll often go up to another trainer's pokemon flirtatiously. As one could probably guess she loves being in contests especially when all eyes are on her. Though she does often overreact and throw tantrums when things do not go her way. Roselia has no problem sulking and refusing to do anything until she is given what she wants.
misc
→ Roselia was the third pokemon that Ami caught when in Kalos, after Espurr, and Azurill. She had seen a wild one and decided that she wanted to catch it. She fought against Roselia using Ninetails and won easily.
→ Ami plans on evolving Roselia into Roserade, but she has yet to come across a shiny stone to do it.
→ Roselia has a not so subtly crush on Glaceon and is always trying to find a way to be near him. This of course bothers Glaceon to no end and he always pushes her away, which just causes Roselia to throw a fit and sulk in her pokeball.
→ Ami and Roselia get along for the most part and have come to some sort of agreement that pretty much as long as Ami buys Roselia what she wants then in return Roselia will listen to Ami's commands.
→ Has a huge love of fashion
→ She is completely high matience and often does a lot of self grooming, or makes Ami do it, so that she will always look her best no matter what occassion it is.

Azurill is the baby of the group and is an extreme crybaby. He is often bullied by some of the other pokemon and will cry and run away when it happens so they have to spend the next several hours looking for him. He is very much a shy and timid pokemon and has a very bad sense of direction. You could definitely say that Azurill has an extreme case of stage fright and doesn't do well when in contests, so he will usually watch from the stands.

→ Azurill was the first pokemon that Ami caught while in the Kalos region
→ Ami will have Azurill evolve into Marill though that won't be until a long time after she has caught him.
→ Azurill will often go to Ami to cry or hide behind her when scared or frightened. You can often see Ami carrying Azurill around in her arms as he doesn't do so well being stuck in his pokeball
→ Azurill's eyes will often fill with tears before letting out a piercing wail and cry for what seems like hours.
→ He is a big lover of peanut butter sandwiches and eats them all the time because Ami has a hard time telling him no.
→ Strangely enough Azurill, despite being a water pokemon, cannot swim to save his own life. However he continues to try and will almost drown having Ami go in and save him.

Now Meowstic is the troublemaker and troll of the team. He is constantly thinking of ways to mess with everyone though his primary target is Glaceon because Meowstic knows it gets under his skin most of all. Even though Glaceon picks fights Meowstic is the one that causes Ami the most trouble as he will disappear and go irritating another trainer's pokemon and leave as if nothing happened, so Ami is stuck cleaning up his mess. He is a true performer however and really shines on stage, too bad that's the only time he's not causing problems.

→ Ami caught Espurr on route six when he was a wild pokemon.
→ Espurr was a cute pokemon but when he evolved he turned into a troublemaker and got under everyone's skin.
→ Ami and Meowstic have a rather funny relationship as Ami will try to get him to behave but it will go completely over the pokemon's head and he'll just smirk as if telling her "you wish"
→ Meowstic loves to bother Glaceon
→ He is the one that works behind the scenes messing with other trainers right before a contest, making Ami have to go around and apologize to everyone often having Meowstic stay in his pokeball most of the time.

Lapras is the naive one of the group. He is the one that really doesn't understand what's going on and will try to help if he thinks something is wrong, though most of the time it just makes the mess even worse and then Lapras will pout about it for the next couple of days feeling bad thinking that he didn't help at all. But he can also be a little overexcited causing a bit of trouble because of his size and trying to do something that he really cannot do. Lapras is quite clumsy and makes a lot of mistakes.

→ Ami came across a wild lapras who was hurt and helped it, though all she did was put a bandage on it, but that Lapras came to like Ami and wanted to go with her. Ami had always wanted to catch a Lapras, and it was one of her goals so she jumped on the chance, and was extremely happy to have one.
→ Lapras loves being with Ami and everyone, even though he tries to help sometimes he does more harm than good.
→ He actually likes being in contests and is often paired with Roselia
→ Isn't very good at the actual battling part, epsecially if there isn't any water
→ Ami will often ride on Lapras to move around lakes and rivers instead of using a boat service
