appearance  — Haneul has fair skin with just a small hint of being out in the sun and long reddish brown hair. Her eyes are slightly slanted like a cat but fit well his her small button like nose, and has a small rounded face that makes her appear cuter than she would prefer. Being 169 cm she has long legs but as a long torso making her well proportioned. She has a set of abs and well defined muscles from doing years of gymnastics and is quite strong but has a healthy weight of 53kg. Haneul does regular excerise, running, lifting weights, etc. to keep her body in perfect condition and maintain her weight. She has her ears pierced twice on both sides and a tattoo on her along the outside of her right foot of her life quote 'dance like no one is watching' (x)

fashion style — First and formost Haneul likes to be comfortable. Nice stretchy pants and loose fitting tops and sweaters are her absolute go to. She doesn't like to wear anything too girly or too tight since it makes her feel clausterphobic though her gymnastics uniform was the only exception. Boots and sneakers are her favorite kind of shoes to wear since they can match just about anything that she'll wear, and cannot stand wearing heels even though she manages to make it work during performances and such. But the one thing that you can always see Haneul wearing is a snapback or a beanie, like she's completely obsessed with hats and has a collection that rivals any boy group as a whole.

personality — 

Haneul is extremely outgoing. Almost to the point that it makes people worry because she will go up to just about anyone introduce herself and tell them all about her day. She doesn't think about the possible consequences of what could happen if she walked up to the wrong person during a bad mood but she doesn't care and will probably try to brighten their day even just a little bit. You can imagine that she's a bit on the strange side as she happily greets everyone the same way without fail even strangers on the street, and heaven help the poor soul who she feels isn't social enough because then Haneul will drag them all over Seoul trying to expand their horizons. As one could guess Haneul's totally fun loving and doesn't get upset about anything. Some call her stupid but she's rather be happy and stupid than working for nothing and feeling nothing but sadness all the time. She can be considered a mookmaker of sorts since her attitude tends to infect everyone who comes within a 20 mile raduis of her and she can turn even the most stressful of situations into something fun and better to deal with. Obviously with her dancer background Haneul is extremely active, having also done gymnastics as a child. She can hardly stay still for five minutes before she starts jittering around and moving, annoying the person stuck next to her in the car. But she's also active when it comes to the people she's close to and doesn't know how to give up. Even if that someone doesn't want the help or the company she's too stubborn to give up. Like she will follow them all over the country if it meant that she would get down to the bottom of the problem and do whatever she can to brighten their mood even if it's just a small amount. 

But as nice and happy as Haneul is she's super childish. Despite being twenty years old and being kind of an adult she's more of a child than a real child. Like she is the prime example of childish, stupid jokes silly little pranks, annoying people until they're ready to sparta kick her into a hole, she has the ablity to make anyone go crazy just by being around her short attention span hyper active self. Remember when I said she was stubborn? Add that in with her childish personality and you have a perfect tantrum recipe. It's a little depressing that someone who's her age has no problem stomping her feet and pouting in a corner to get what she wants but hey whatever works right? Now think about that for a moment and then add in obnoxious and you have the perfect combination of a dowright unbearable human being, unless you like that kind of person then go you. She doesn't know when to take no for an answer or back away when the person clearly needs some space. Haneul has pissed off more than one person, friend, bandmate, sunbae from her behavior also getting more than one lecture from all of these people telling her she needs to grow up and get her head out of the clouds, start acting like the twenty year old she is, but like mostly everything else it goes in one ear and out the other. She often has to be told more than a few times before she actually starts to listen. She's very complusive and if she thinks it's a good idea then she'll do it, even if in the end it was a horrible idea and she's all bruised and cut up because some kid dared her to jump off the top of a swing set and she did it. She's definitely more of an "act now think later" kind of person and it's always a fifty-fifty shot on whether it will end for the better and be fine or totally horrible. 

Overal Haneul is a crazy complusive and childish girl who will get on your nerves more than once but will always have your back, making sure your day is never boring and do whatever she can to cheer you up. 

background — Choi Haneul was born in Busan South Korea on June 1, 1995 and even at the start of her life she wasn an active child who just didn't know when to stop or slow down for the sake of her parents. When she was old enough to walk (run) her parents put her in a variety of dance and gymnastics  classes as a way to contain her energy to use it constructively instead of getting into things around the house that a small child shouldn't be getting into. She of course loved it tumbling around the floor in endlessly without really paying attention to the instructor or doing happy twirls in her tutu she had a fun and happy early childhood until school started. She couldn't really focus much, the whole sitting still thing was a problem even then, but as she got older her parents had come up with a compromise Haneul kept her grades up at a B average and she could continue her dance and gymnastics lessons. It wasn't easy for her but as now at the age of fourteen she couldn't help but agree since she loved doing both so much that the thought of having to give it up killed her. 

Haneul didn't really come up with the decision of being a Kpop Idol or even auditioning in general oh no it was none other than Auora member Dohee who she had run into randomly, literally ran into, and she convinced her. It's no secret that the girl liked to talk and after she had seen Haneul happily dancing around the street and then bumped into the girl that she decided that this one could be a good possible trainee and did her best to convice Haneul to try out for Lemon Entertainment. As much as the idea intrigued her Haneul really didn't think too much about what she wanted to do with herself or her dancing for that matter. Of course the thought of doing something she loved dearly as a career was enticing but honestly she really didn't know a thing about what being a Kpop star was or how you become a trainee and if it was all actually worth. So for the first time Haneul decided to do some research instead of jumping blindly into the deep end that didn't seem to have any kind of stopping point. She was still debating on what to do about the girl's offer when she ran into Dohee again and talked to her about it again as well as some other things having a lot in common, though it was mostly that they both liked to talk, but she still wasn't convinced. 

A couple of years after that encounter passed by Haneul was shocked to see that same girl who so happily chatted with her and gave her a different way of looking at her life was on her tv performing looking like she was having the time of her life and was finally persauded that maybe it wouldn't be so bad to do something like that and decided to go to Lemon Entertainment's  open audition. It actually took her a couple of tries to actually work up the nerve to get up in front of the judges, and she'll never admit this to anyone, but she was actually pretty scared about being rejected for not being good enough doing something she loved but Haneul worked out her fears pushing through them and get up there doing her audtiont and was accepted. She was so thrilled and worked extra hard during her time as a trainee despite not having too many friends and was even more thrilled when she was to debut in the new co-ed group.
