APPEARANCE ⁍ Mei has extremely long black hair that goes down to her waist, which is always causing her trouble getting it stuck in doors, sitting on it, it getting everywhere when it's windy outside, but she refuses to cut it having grown fond of it even if she doesn't really have much of a clue to do with it. Though she will keep it in a long braid as they're the only thing she knows what to do. She's fairly tall at 170 cm and a healthy weight of 58 kg. Small but shapely light pink lips that are the perfect contrast to her pale skin and big dark chocolate brown eyes that fit nicely with her small oval face. Mei doesn't wear much makeup since she's not too sure how to use it properly but is the perfect model for the girls who like to play with her hair trying a variety of braids and styles that would fit well with her.

STYLE ⁍ Mei's main style can mostly be considered boho chic. She loves how everything is flowy and comfortable thinking it matches her to a t. From the long skirts and pants, to the large cover shirts and simple jewelry she loves it all, and her closet is often overflowed and leaking into her room with everything that she buys. The cool and calm patterns and warm but not overpowering colors really appeal to her and compliment her long black hair and pale skin very well, she's often teased about dressing too much like a hippie from the sixties but Mei just embraces it throwing peace signs in every picture. She has a thing for collecting accessories, shoes and hats, having way too many for her to wear on her own so she'll loan them out or even give them as a gift to the other girls if she sees that they've taken a particular liking to it.

PERSONALITY ⁍
Mei is very very modest, and isn't one to brag about any of her achievements, granted those great achievements are far and few between but when they happen no matter how happy or excited she is most of the time she'll keep it to herself not wanting to seem like she was being too boastful or in everyone's face about it. Seriously though even if she's prompted to talk about something as small as getting an a on a test in her worst subject, Sohee will shy away from it and just shake her head smiling and try to get the group to talk about something else. She doesn't like to draw attention to herself, which for the most part works well for her, but every so often she'll slip up getting too excited and then immediately try to apologize for talking too much, getting plenty of eye rolls form everyone else. Mei is a warm and compassionate person. If you need someone to talk to without judgement or interruption then she's your girl. It doesn't matter if you're just complaining about something trivial or something that's bigger she will sit there and listen to your every word offering a smile at the end as well as a peace offering gift to try and help brighten that person's day. As someone who is less than perfect she will never show any kind of judgement towards anyone, even if that person was quite mean and rude to her Mei will always find a way to see the good in everyone no matter how bad others may see that person being. She's also very loyal and will always stand by her friends, no matter how right or wrong they may be she will be their undenying support through thick and thin. She doesn't care about their past or what they've done all she cares about is the present and that they know they can always depend on her. Her happy go lucky and sincere  attitude helps a lot with settling conflict between the girls since they don't really have the heart to tell her no.

Of course Mei has her issues like any normal person. Like being beyond clumsy and forgetful, she is known as being pretty spacy around everyone and doesn't pay attention to her surroundings, often finding herself in trouble both at school and the others for not paying attention and being "completely there." She also has a tendency to run into stuff causing herself injury and breaking things around the house leaving her an apologetic mess to Miyoung for breaking yet another lamp because she was too busy spacing out to notice where exactly where she was going. The same can be said about her forgetfulness, and she has a bunch of sticky notes all over the house and her room reminding her of everything important such as birthdays and special dates so she doesn't look like a bad person forgetting them. Mei is also quite gullible and tends to believe anything and everything people say to her. It's depressing to see someone who can be so smart in one area be completely hopeless everywhere else if it's not related to math or technology then she's pretty much useless. She's the prime target for pranks for the more outgoing and mischevious members of their little group all in good fun of course but trying to explain that it was just a joke and that no pigs do not actually fly is a long and painful task only done by the most patient of people. But first and formost Mei is very very very impulsive. If she thinks something is a good idea then you can bet that she's going to try it, even if that means almost blowing up the house by mixing the wrong wires together. Even though she's seems calm and very responsible at first if you leave her alone for too long Mei will get herself and usually everyone else into trouble that requires them to get her out of it since she doesn't have any other way of protecting herself like everyone else.

PAST ⁍ Han Meihua was born to a reletively poor family in a small town by the sea in Zhejiang Province during the Ming Dynasty on December 24, 1578. Even when she was a small girl Mei was always looking at the clouds and never really payed much attention to anything, even when she had to help her mother with the chores around the house. She had grown up having a relatively easy and normal life as the only child and absolutely loved living by the sea. If she was ever upset or down or just needed some time on her own, she could always be found by the sea, either on the shore or even in the water, it always calming her down with the gentle waves and breeze that carrassed her hair. By age fourteen, it was time for Mei to start helping around the house more, since they all had to work in order to have enough money to keep the house. Unfortunately when her father had come down with an illness it had halted all of their income and due to no one wanting to hire a small girl for any kind of manuel labor they were eventually kicked out of their house and forced to move in with her mother's sister's family. Her aunt had married well so they had the room but she was still suposed to help around the house as a way of showing their gratitude for everything they've done for her parents. 

They lived like that for three years until her father had gotten over his illness and was working to try and get back their small home by the sea that his daughter loved so much. But luck wasn't on their side and he relasped back into sickness and later that year died. The death killed her mother mentally and emotionally so she stopped working so it was all up to Mei to take care of herself, her mother, and keep the house clean for her aunt, who in the end had started using her as a free maid. No matter how stressful it got or how much she wanted to argue back and tell her aunt and uncle no, Mei just put a smile on her face and just worked through all of the stress and pain, always sneaking out late at night to go back to her favorite spot in the whole wide world, her small childhood home by the sea. Any time she thought she couldn't do it or when all the stress seemed to be taking it's toll on her she would go there when everyone had fallen asleep and just stared out at the calm dark ocean watching the moon's and star's reflection against the glass surface and it would immediately make her feel better, filling her body with a new sense of determination each time. Mostly because that spot reminded her a lot of her father who had never given up no matter how bad the situation was and so she looked to him as her role model anytime something was going wrong. 

It was during one of moonlight times that she had met this stranger sitting in her usual spot, and so she sat down next to him and together they just watched the waves move back and forth softly crashing into one another. Every night after that the stranger could be seen in the same spot consistantly every time, and Mei would sit next to him in comfortable silience. She never asked his name and never started a conversation, having never had the thought that it was necessary and almost scared that it would ruin the magic they had going on, as she had thought of him as her first and only friend. But one night he wasn't there, which had worried Mei having her think that she had inavertendly done something wrong to make him leave, until the next night he was there again but wasn't sitting he was standing staring right at her and when she got closer he grabbed her so she couldn't leave covering and bit her neck leaving her a gasping mess on the sand she had loved for so long the water making the end of her long hair wet. He stood over her for a while and set a note down leaving quietly. When she woken up later she was in her room at her aunts house feeling sick and just all out of sorts. It had turned out she was found near the house with second degree burns all over her face and arms from the morning sun. 

When she had seen the note that was still tucked inside her hand Mei opened it up surprised to only see one sentence "Come and seek me when you're ready." Confused she just set it to the side and went to sleep, only to find out that she didn't have to nor was she tired, and within a matter of a couple of hours all of her nasty burns were all but healed competely not even leaving a hint of a scar on her porcelian skin. Her aunt didn't come to check on her until much much later and when she did, lets just say it wasn't a pretty picture. There was a lot of screaming and yelling, and a heck of a lot of name calling as Mei just tried to leave the house without any trouble still very confused by everything not knowing what was going on or why she was reacting that way but in the process she had ended up blasting her mother with a gust of wind that shocked everyone and in that moment she had run out of the house and never looked back as the tears streamed down her face. Not really having any idea where to go she had went back to the beach looking around for that stranger desparate and delirous almost because he was nowhere to be found. So she started walking away anywhere without even a small thought on where she was going to end up. 

Later that night as she was wondering aimlessly the stranger had finally showed himself to her and actually introduced himself properly to her as Zhang Youwei and she needed to come with him. Too timid and scared to say no she just nodded and followed him to a large house on the outskirts of the province, and she was introduced to the head sire of the Zhang Vampire Clan in Zhejiang. The head had told Mei that he had instructed Youwei to scout out potiental furture fledgelings that would become a key role in keeping the Zhang Clan on the map and not be knocked out by some of the bigger clans in the country of China. She had just followed along listening and nodding being the good little that she was always eager to please. For a couple hundred years that's exactly what Mei did she listened and did every mission she was given to her no matter how much it really made her cringe on the inside but knowing the consquences of not going through with it was terrifying enough to make anyone commit murder so they wouldn't have to go through that kind of torture. The stritct life style of the clan was starting to wear down Mei's self confidence and positive attitude, Youwei who had seen this change in her decided to take her out where everything had started at that same beach where he had told her how their leader was going to go to war with the other clans in the area and that this was her last chance to leave and find safety. Mei was left with a difficult choice, and really didn't want to go having not known anything else but with the inststance that Youwei had shown her and how he didnt't want her getting hurt she did the only thing she knew what to do nod and leave the country to Japan trying to blend in there. 

Mei traveled a lot between Japan and Korea throughout the last couple of hundred years, not really sure if going back to her homeland was alright, knowing that if Zhang was alive he would hunt her down and kill her without a second thought, or worse keep her locked up as he did always like her unique power wanting to use it for his own personal use. She didn't branch out too much like a few of the other vampires she had come across staying mostly in Korea and Japan but did go to Europe for a while interested in all the different foods and cultures but ultmately made her home in Korea since it was a bit better than anywhere else, though it was mostly because she had fallen in love with the Han River. Mei didn't really go to school this whole time so she wasn't the most educated of vampires, a reason she wasn't really seen with others because they didn't want to have to babysit her all of the time but it was the werewolf who had found her, and they had immediately became fast friends. She was taken back to meet Miyoung and Minhee who had accepted her for who she was no matter her clumsy tendencies, so being extremely grateful for that Mei had decided to stay with them and do anything she can to help them treating them as her own little family. 

         

POWERS ⁍ Along with the usual super strength, speed, and gloriously perfect skin, Mei also has the power of aerokinesis or air control. Unfortunately she doesn't have the best control over it and so it can be more of a hinderence than an assest but she tries, and with the help of the eldest vampire trying to get her to focus more so Mei won't lose as much control in critical moments she does better. Her main power is simply controlling the wind creating it from out of nowhere it seems, but because of her lack of control these bursts can happen right in the middle of dinner because she was thinking offhandedly about something related so everyone is now wearing their dinner or have nothing but a small breeze in a critical moment. But she's trying to work on it.

Tao is a bright and happy kind of guy, and even though most of the time he's seen on the sidelines he's usually laughing or smiling at something that someone else said. His positive energy can't rival Chanyeol's or Jongdae's but he gets pretty close and tries to brighten other's days as well if he can tell that they're not having a good one. Now he's not exactly the smartest person in the world and is pretty spacy, so you have to repeat things often to him because he wasn't listening but he doesn't let it get to him too much and tries to play it off. Around strangers Tao is actually pretty shy and quiet not getting too close to anyone else and sticks to one of his friend's side like glue just kind of watching everything unfold or sits in a quiet corner so no one can see him and come up making him nervous. He's also very kind and tries to help others in his own way. It doesn't seem that way sometimes but he'll do what he thinks is necessary to help if that means doing laundry to lessen the load of chores for everyone else or buying a bunch of unecessary groceries because he overheard a conversation that they were running out of one thing and came home with bags full. 

But Tao is first and formost one thing, childish. If something doesn't immediately go his way or everyone was making fun of him for being super scared of a little bug. He will throw fits and pout or whine or a combination of all three until someone finally gives into him and tells him what he wants to hear, usually its an apology or a bribe. And yes he can be bribed with a variety of things though it's mostly food and clothes, as he loves both and getting a new name brand shirt makes him super excited and happy. Tao is also quite the little scardy cat, it's honestly what he's known for, and it irritates him to no end. You name it he's probably scared of it. Ghosts, heights, bugs, the list goes on and on. It's kind of embarrassing that he'll cling to anyone and I mean anyone when he's terrified so you can see him clinging to Mei with all his might while the vampire tries her best to calm him down and show him that it's really not all that scary. Finally Tao is interruptive, now this is only when he's around the rest of the pack since he knows and is comfortable around them. But if he thinks what you're saying is stupid or you said it wrong he will come right up and cut you off with his own opinion and explain in great detail what you just said was completely wrong.

FIRST MEETING ⁍ Zitao and Meihua met after the girls had orginally met the pack. It wasn't any kind of special meeting, honestly I don't even think they had even noticed each other throughout the whole meet and greet both dozing off in their own worlds. It wasn't until the second meeting between everyone that they were introduced, the fire mage who had noticed Mei wasn't doing anything or talking to anyone as she was staring out the window took it upon herself to introduce each other having a feeling they would get along due to their similar personalities and she was right, and never lets Mei forget it. It was pretty awkward for them both at first, not love at first sight or hate at first sight, but awkward at first sight. Seriously they couldn't even utter a single word to one another without sounding like a couple of idiots, which if you thought about it long enough wasn't too far off the mark. Eventually they had warmed up to one another bonding over liking the same kind of music and Mei being fascinated that Tao did Wushu asking all kinds of questions that he was all too happy to answer and brag about, they had become fast friends. 

RELATIONSHIP ⁍ As two of the most gullible people in the group of twenty four they are the prime targets for pranks and Sehun telling them absolute lies, that get him in trouble when Mei actually tries to do what he was telling her thus getting her in trouble in the long run. Even though they don't really talk too much both of them too distracted in their own little worlds but when they get bored of that they can at least entertain each other. Most of the time it includes Tao trying to teach Mei wushu moves and then having a broken nose or a black eye because she got a little too excited and forgets that she has super strength. Of course he doesn't mind it all that much because he just play the poor baby Tao card and Mei gets so guilty she does everything he wants to try and make it up to him. They don't really know if they're dating or not, even though it's very obvious with their disgustingly cute nicknames for each other but they're so stupid that neither of them see it that way at all and just consider each other really good friends. 

But somewhere deep down they both know exactly what the others are trying too tell them but are too scared to say anything or make the first step from being friends to dating. Mei knows how she feels about Tao and so so everyone else as she blushes like a little school girl whenever she's around him and laughs at everything he says, no matter how dumb and not funny it actually is. She also lets him be childish and act the way he does without complaint or a care even when what he does is eye roll worthy. But because of that she really wants to keep what they have already without taking that risk of ruining everything by admitting how she feels to him, and Tao is just too oblivious to notice that subtle change in Mei through the months that they get to know each other. 

CONCLUSION ⁍ They eventually end up dating thanks to the fire mage getting irritated with their not dating, dating status. It had really erked the girl and so she sat both of them down laid out each other's feelings out on the table and left leaving them to figure out the rest themselves all too annoyed to stay there any longer. It was an awkward affiar that left both of them a blushing mess afterwards, not really talking to one another much like their first meeting but after a while and getting over that first bump Mei was the first who snapped out of it and tentatively asked if they were dating now and when Tao said yes in his own small embarrassed voice she couldn't hide the bright smile on her face.
