I am saddened to say that I am no longer a fan of EXO. 

At first, it started as an EXO hiatus back in December and I told myself that once they have their comeback, I’ll be back into EXO. But I never did. I lost interest in them for a while now and any new news about them appears, I’m not as excited or as thrilled as I used to be. I’ve been their fan since the day they released the Mama MV but now…I stopped.

This is mostly because of the stans fans of EXO. Their lack of respect, appreciation and knowledge bothers me so much! I’m sure many of you have experienced with this and as you’re reading this, you’re telling me that I shouldn’t lose my interest in the boys, it’s not they’re fault. Well, yeah that’s true but I honestly have had enough. The things they’ve said about those who passed away in the tragic ferry incident pushed my limits. I am not generalizing this on all EXO fans but there are a lot of immature fans that are hard for me to handle. 

I know that every fandom has these kind of fans but EXO takes the cake. They’re the worst. SONEs are somewhat similar but I’ve learned to ignore them and I’m back to liking SNSD but not as much and I don’t like every member. I used to be a blackjack but once again, the immature fans made me dislike 2ne1. Not the girls, but the fandom.

What I’m trying to say is that, if this goes on with every fandom and everyone just blurts whatever they have in their mind (not caring if it’s offensive or not) that many people will start disliking K-pop because of these kind of fans. I know a lot of people who have left the K-pop world because of these fans and other reasons.

So, I beg of you, stop being immature and try acting like an adult. Have fun and all that but don’t offend everyone and disrespect people.
