End (y,dark n rock)

OK guys...hmm, a little confession...for this episode's of this one word song compilation series...i already planned for 'only' but then there's one song that made me change to End...so let's get it on...^^...plus, the songs for End are an interesting tight/small number of this great mixture of rock, y, and dark(mostly dark n rock i guess)...omg...how cool is that...you might be annoyed to see same artistes keep coming up but what can i do? my taste isn't that diverse. just be prepared to see more of them...:p

for those who missed the previous episode, here -> DANCE

ok...let's END it...(nooo....not yet)

5. Never End - ZE:A

Well, i don't know bout songs that are y or what...but according to Kevin, fans like this song because the choreography is y...lmao. right. i have to be honest that i'm...not in those fans he referred to i guess...don't get me wrong...the song is fine...but with an album like Spectacular...it's hard for this song to stand out for me when there's so fking many awesome songs in there. especially, there's no Kwanghee part in this song....grr..if there's something i love, it's probly how prominent/central Siwan's vocal role is, in this song. :)

^ Japanese version of live perf(with bonus demo of sekshi...lmao)...there are many fancams for Korean one...but i prefer official vids..which is..hard to find for Korean ver i guess....but if you wanna see my fancam of Korean ver feel free...even though sometimes i just wanna punch kevin whenever he make that face...oh you know what face...idk...lol.

4. Cherry Blossom Ending - ZE:A Five version

^ now now now calm down...i know this is Busker Busker song...like duh...it's just that the one i have in my list is ZE:A Five's though i did have buskerbusker mp3 somewhere...speaking of them...i know they're like one of the biggest thing in Korea in one of those recent years...but idk...maybe it's just me who didn't find them all that amazing...at least as far as comparison with other indie musicians go...busker2 is like the mainstream indie...but there are many indiegroup with soundalike to them(don't ask me to name though just go youtube for k-indie groups) so...yeah...but i can understand why mainstream crowd find them out of the world...bcuz they don't have the generic idol sound...they're not idol anyway. why do you think they'd sound like one? lol.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_TjSFCUOnQ

^ the actual performance. you have to click to watch...kbs doesn't allow embedding lol...but they have english subs...and while Busker Busker has a more rough rock-ish vocals which i usually love...i actually like the dynamics of different sounds offered by ZE:A Five here...from very smooth(Kevin), smooth ballady Hyungsik, medium smooth Dongjun, rap Minwoo to hard/edgy(Siwan) <-all those unprofessional irrelevant terms created by me, no judgy lol...so the vocal textures are a little varied n i feel a lil more fitting to the smooth song?

3. Until the End of Time - Romeo

Romeo's songs are a little hard to chew at first for me except for a few that are catchy from the start even though i recognize most/all the songs have this epic-of-another-world kinda sound...his songs are a little more on the rock(n somewhat gothic?) side with a very distinct flavour of restlessness(well, that's the feel i get from the songs...restlessness...except for the last song in the midnight theatre album-not this btw-, just like a closing to a story, brilliant) but with the sound like coming from a story...n i think that's what the album really aimed for...even with the lyrics, they're all like coming from a story...initially i keep listening even songs that didn't capture me just to find writing inspiration n after awhile...let's say i feel the need to buy the albums. This is one of the songs that took a little time to get to me but c'mon, it's so cool. - i just realize how jumbled up my sentences...but nah..don't i always do that...

^ live performance...only for the first one minute and 12 seconds though...lol. the rest is a different song. though i'll say worth watching...lol. if there's one regret...it's not discovering this whole different intriguing fictional-music world of romeo earlier. but hey, better late than never they say...

2. Endless Love - Shinhwa

Dark. dark and dark. a lil rock-ish too?...one of my ultimate fav Shinhwa song (especially for songs with impactful emotions) the lyrics are dark the sound is dark too...ahh, what else to say..i freaking love this. a very inspiring dark n disturbing but cool song...it just pulls me deep down to the depths of raw angst n darkness(without having to shout with too much noise) whenever i listen to it...n i love that.

1. End - Broccoli,You Too

^ ok, please skip this one...

and...

listen to the live video ver. bcuz it's so much more fking awesome than the album ver. don't get me wrong...for those who hate banging rockin' sound...you might prefer recorded one that sounded so much lighter...but the perf is definitely more polished while still retaining raw feels that are delivered more professionally. well, i don't care that k-indie critics don't usually have great things to say about this band's music/songs...i adore how their songs always feel close to life reflections...even though it's a damn shame not many people would translate their meaningful lyrics but tons of people would translate hufff....overrated song lyrics that don't even make a damn sense. well, what to do...they're the one with the skills...their right to translate a song that's been translated like 100 times before instead of translating stuffs that hasn't been touched by other translators...in fact, i do subbing(even without using any great programme n just basic moviemaker lol...here, feel free to pay the songs a visit.)...so, if anyone could be my translator n translate artistes with meaningful lyrics that other translators don't do...join me n be my partners in crimeeh no, we ain't be doing a crime here...but awesome stuff...anyway, yes...it's this very performance that led to me choosing END...right from the first drumbeat there(in fact, it's my fav part lol)...my heart~~~ <3 n the vid is very nicely shot. i love how this channel always capture performance video from various indie groups with mood n artistic value injected to it. hmm, stylo. lol.

like the selection? or discover something new? any word you want to see up next? hmm...i'm really enjoying doing this one word series bcuz i can spazz about multiple random songs at the same time...lol.
