Thoughts on Plagiarism (DO READ)

I never cared much for it because...

1) No story of mine will ever get plagiarised (cos my writing is too lousy lol)
2) None of the stories I really liked had got plagiarised yet. 

But today, my views on it changed because a friend of mine got plagiarised, and her writings are good. 

Her stories are mostly placed on subscribers mode but because of a contest she entered, her story "Voice" was not on subscribers mode and unlucky for her, she got plagiarised. She only found out about it when she accidentally searched for her own name. 

Not only did her story got plagiarised WORD FOR WORD, that person even claims herself as my friend. LIKE WTH. plagiarising is bad enough, impersonating is even worse. If that's not enough, that person even went to use the poster made by someone specially for my friend.

I am freaking pissed with that person and I even commented on the plagiarised story (not in a nice way. Nobody is nice when they are angry).These actions are super unacceptable and unlike the past, I would now love to put a stop to it. 

Oh, so i've been calling friend friend friend throughout the whole story but the friend is none other than Firelightshadow. She is a super nice person and a good writer so she totally don't deserve this.

She still hasn't deleted it yet??! that copy cat is so shameless! her comments are already full of requests asking her to take it down cos it's not her who wrote it but she doesn't even listen!

What an insightful blog. I hope that person will have their story deleted so your friend won't feel hurt by it anymore.

That's ing ridiculous. Sorry for my language but I am pissed the off. I may don't read anything but EunHae but I can still feel the pain of anyone's story being copied. I mean like WTH. Really if your dumb can't write then just read, DON'T ING STEAL. I'm not calling anyone that don't know how to write dumb I'm just calling that dumb person (Want to call her more) that for plagiarism. >_< Aish why do people have to be so selfish. I think I need to stop now before I RANT for hours.

wow i swear plagiarism pisses the out of me. now if you want to earn yourself some fans and readers, get the off your and do . don't just take someone else's hard work and call it your own nirefkreklwfsd

I can totally relate, my story was plagiarized and I found out about it on the eve of the biggest exam of my life. It affects us writers emotionally because something you worked so hard on; pour your energy and sweat and occasionally even tears on is just easily copy pasted for fame or whatever the reason is. Not cool.

Thank you for looking out for your friend. A lot of writers don't know that this is happening but when readers notice it, then it makes writers feel like you care. True fans don't copy and you are a true fan/friend.

plagiarism ing . it when it happens to others and forces them to take down their stories, but it also when it happens to yourself (I know this from experience). sigh.

Wow that's really mean of her. A lot of stories had been plagiarized on wattpad. Maybe those authors think we people use AFF so we won't check on wattpad. -.-
