PERSONALITITY
— To start off, Mei used to be very naive and spoiled when young, not really taking into consideration others or the situation around her. Being born into privilage was something that she thought could overpower any adversity that was thrown at her. However, she was wrong. After the incident with her guardian, her eyes opened and she realized what her dad had said that with privilage comes resposibility. Mei, being born as a Muroni Royal, had already developed a stubborn, strong-willed personality in which she always did her best in everything, wanting to know everything and if she's right she's right. However, she became more independent, realistic and practical. Knowing that things don't just come to those who don't work hard for it.
She's a witty smart-a** that can be quite the sarcastic firecracker and when mad her words can be as sharp as knives. She's candid about mostly everything, says things straight fowardly and frank. She's clever, knowing how to talk herself out of any unpredictable, uncomfortable or unfavorable situation. However, she can be impulsive sometimes, her feelings running away with her, and so acts up before her brain says no. She's very competitive, not that she likes to see others lose or that she hates seeing others win, is that she doesn't want to let herself down and doesn't like to lose. She's uptight about her school work and takes learning magic and combat seriously. However she doesn't think much about academics although she thrives to get good grades in that area also.
Even though Mei seems like a cold serious person, she's actually quite caring towards her loved ones. Still, she's reserved and doesn't open up to others easily. She's a skeptic, not believing or being led by others easily. Doesn't really trust someone she doesn't know. She can be distant when she isn't close to someone. However, once you gain her trust she's loyal and trustworthy towards you. She's suprisingly a very talkative and nagging person, especially towards her brother and others, making sure they stay out of trouble and don't do anything stupid. She's very cunning which is why she gets away with most of the things she does, and can get out of trouble quite easily. She's never been one to care what others think of her, rather she goes to the beat of her own drum.
BACKGROUND 
— Mei was born in Beijing, China, to parents Lu Cheng Fai and Lau Huan Yue. Her parents had gone to live in Beijing due to her mother's wishes of having both her children in her hometown. Mei's father agreed, however when Mei turned 9, they moved back to Romania. Her father had taken care of his affairs from Beijing but it was time to return home to his duties, as a Muroni Royal. Her father owned a large scale coorporations around the globe. He was both CEO and Chariman. Her mother was part of the counsel and Queen of the Muroni. There is no doubt that both Mei's brother, Luhan, and her were both born into such a prestigious family. They didn't really need to adjust to living as a vampire for they were born into a life adjusted for them. They never had to worry about going out during the daylight or getting too thirsty for blood. However, their father wasn't one to pamper or spoil them. He wanted them to grow up without feeling that everything they had was their right, no, he wanted them to know that it was a gift. They were born to privilage and with that comes obligations and responsibility. So, he didn't give his children whatever they wanted but instead made them work for it. He established rules, that forbade them to drink form a human. They only drank blood from donors. One time, their cousin Henry drank from a human and almost drained her since he didn't have the will to stop. After that, their father punished him and only allowed him to eat human food (yuck!) and drink substitute blood pills, which tastes bitter and do not fully satisfy. Their father was one to respect human life and thought that our responsibility to protect them. Mei had always admired her father for that.
In Middle School, when Mei was 14, she suffered a dreadful loss. Both her and her guardian, Choi Minho, were leaving school. Mei wanted to go and sneak off with her friends. But as always Minho being the strict stubborn self that he was said no. He always listened to his orders too well, and he knew that she couldn't go off on her own and he coudln't acompany her that day since he had work to do when he got back. So, Mei decided to give him the slip. As he was talking on the phone with someone, she hurridly ran off. She never payed much attention to her surroundings since she never had the need to do so. Therefore, she ran until she was lost. She called one of her friends cell but they didn't pick up. She felt cold and her hair started standing on edge. She felt a prescence, something which seemed menacing. Now, she started to fell nervous and scared. She didn't dare look back, but just started running again. Suddenly she felt something hard hit her on the side of the head. She fell to the ground and looked around her despreatly trying to see what hit her. Slowly, out of the shadows came out a man, whose eyes were bright red. Mei, told herslef to stand up and run but she was rooted to the ground. Shaking. AS he lunged for her, Minho out of nowhere threw himself against the Strigoi. Both of them landed hard on the ground. He shouted at Mei to get up and run away. She got up but her eyes were fixed on the battle before her. Minho noticed that another shadow loomed behing her. So, he riped the current Strigoi's head. And leaped towards Mei, ingulfing her in his arms and twisting her around. Making him have his back against the other Strigoi who lunged for his neck and his teeth deep. Minho's eyes widened at the pain and gripped Mei tighter. Blood fell from his neck to her cheek as tears brimmed down her face. The 3 Lu bodyguards arrived and took the Stigoi off Minho's back. Minho looked at Mei and fainted in her arms. One of the bodyguards came and realesed Mei from Minho's grip. Pulling her away from Minho as she kicked and demanded the bodyguard to let her go. The last thing she saw as she was being dragged away, was Minho's limp body covered in blood.
After that incident Mei matured. She decided that she didn't want to feel helpless ever again. She refused any of the guardians which her father tried to put her with. She became angry with her father for a while, for not telling her what had happened to Minho. He told her a few months after the incident that they had taken care of it. She didn't ask anymore for she knew what that meant. Luhan was the only one who could consol her during those days. After Mei gratuated from High School, she needed to get away from the life of a royal and her home which reminded her of Minho. So she ended up going to the Academy. Same as her brother. Her father was pleased with her decision since he thought that she would be safe there and also he has her new guardian waiting for her there. The Academy was known for being the best boarding school for vampires in all of Romania. So, it was of no suprise that royals Moroi, Muroni and Dhampir went there, as well as their guardians.

Luhan is your typical dumb loving older brother, with a little sister complex. Ever since they were both little, they have been inseperable. She was spoiled by her older brother and could very easily manipulate him. Han wouldn't mind at all, he knew but thought that she was cute trying to convince him to do something for her. Han loves to and make her frown, then pinch her cheeks and say she's too cute. Luhan is someone outgoing and very cheeky but when it comes to his sister he because a bèn gege. They argue sometimes like any other siblings but they get along well, and are really close. They are both known as the bapo siblings. However, after the incident with Minho, she became quieter with him and stopped asking him for any kinds of favors. Thinking that she didn't want him to get in trouble, especially because of her. Han, however, became very over-protective and more attentive towards her. The roles switched a bit, now he tends to be the one using aegyo to convice her to do something. Still, he's just trying to watch over her.

When they returned from Beijing, Mei was greeted by the tall 12 year old boy, who had shiny black hair and round pretty eyes. They presented him as her guardian and from that day foward they had been together ever since. He was serious and really strict but he was always very patient and kind with Mei. He had a soft spot for her and to Mei he was her first love. She blames herself for loosing him. She doesn't know what actually happened to him but ever since her father told her that they "had taken care of him" she assumed that he was dead. What her father didn't tell her was that after they had pulled her away, the uncounscious Minho had woken up. Eyes bloodshot and had attacked the bodyguards and ran away. He was a Strigoi now.

REASON At first Mei thought he was good-looking and sorta cute but once he opened that snobbish mouth of his she totally changed her mind. They tend to clash a lot, especially since they're both prince and princess royals from different clasifications.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF YOUR CHARACTER DURING SCHOOL Mei is someone who's a perfectionist. When she does something she likes to do it right. However, she pays more attention in combat and magic class since she thinks that those two will be more useful to her, than math or physics. She really likes languages and history though. And still, she tries to score high grades in her other academic courses. She isn't top of her class but she's pretty up there, and she's aiming for the top 10.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF HIM DURING SCHOOL Minseok is quite the popular kid in school. He's chaming, sweet and everyone gets along really well with him. He's gregarious and you can see him being constantly surrounded by others. He's always with either Luhan, Chen or Suho. He's 11th on rank but he doesn't really pay attention to his scores. He participates most on combat class, but whenever a teacher asks him a question in academic classes he always says the correct answer. It's weird because you never actually see him studying. He likes to practice for combat though.

PERSONALILITY
Minseok has always been an affectionate person. He's very caring, loving and attentive towards his loved ones. However, he can be too overwhelming, he's known to his friends as the "skinship monster". He can sometimes forget bondries, hugging and snuggling wherever he goes. He doesn't do this with everyone, thankfully, only with the people he feels most comfortable with. Unlike his actual age, Minseok looks like, and sometimes acts like, he's one of the youngest in the group. He can be playful, making jokes or teasing others. He's very witty and so he can come up with a comeback even to the trolls, Baekhyun and Chen. However, he's very dependable and understanding of others. You can truly see that he's the oldest hyung as he watches over everyone quietly, never failing to take care of someone if need be. Just because you see Minseok as a cute baozi, you shouldn't underestimate him. Minseok is a very persistent and hard-working person. Even though he can seem laid-back for things, like he doesn't study but he pays attention in class therefore he gets good grades. Mei really dislikes him for that. However, he never thinks twice about giving his best at either his studies or his duty. Still, Minseok has a mind of his own and he can be impulsive or unpredictable sometimes. He's one to throw Mei off quite a lot. Like he either decides to stretch the rules a bit or suprises her in an act of manliness that she didn't expect from him.
HISTORY
Mei and Minseok had never met before the Academy. They first met when they were partnered up in Combat class. They were practicing, and the teacher as he passed by adressed to Minseok that he shouldn't take it easy on Mei just because she was new. Mei was completly taken aback by this at first and then felt insulted that while she was giving her best in knocking him down, he was "taking it easy" on her. She glared at him, he was just suprised and confused that she had just sent him a glare but then felt amused by it. He knocked her into the ground twice, the third time she pulled him down with her. She looked at him triunphantly and found him smiling at her, she let go of him and from then on has made it a point to beat him. After that, Mei has seen Minseok as her rival. Minseok, however, find her attempts at beating him really cute. They take other classes together and he spends a lot, and I mean 23/6, with Luhan. Plus, he keeps following her around wherever she goes. Mei found him really annoying and even cocky at first. He would and she would comeback with a witty reply. They argued a lot, and people didn't get why they spent so much time together if what they did most of the time was argue. However, as they did, Mei slowly and uncounsciouly started opening up to him. Even feeling strange when he wasn't around. Minseok, found that she was actually a cute softie, that was caring and had a soft spot for her friends. They both started arguing less and started getting along better. Still, Mei is not aware of the fact that Minseok is her new guardian, although he knew who she was since they first laid eyes on each other.
RELATIONSHIP
Mei and Minseok are combat partners/rivals (in Mei's eyes), who are slowly starting to know each other, and becoming friends. Their relationship, at first, is a bit on edge most of the time. Ever since they met Mei has been competitive towards him and didn't really have a good first impression of him. He, on the other hand, found her intriguing, not at all what he expected a Muroni princess to be. Mei gives Minseok the cold glare/shoulder at first. She doesn't get how he's best friends with her brother. However, after she got to spend more time with him, she noticed that they are more similar than she thought. They have a funny relationship that consist in Minseok teasing or setting her off because it's entertaining for him. And Mei getting annoyed, arguing and somehow getting back at him. After they spent more time with one another Minseok found Mei's weak's spots and loves to use them against her but only when it's the two of them. She gets uncomfortable and embarrased when doing skinship with others, plus she has a weakness towards people who do aegyo. Therefore, Minseok became the freaking skinship monster that he was and started hugging (be it normal or back hug), holding her hand (sometimes interlacing their fingers), resting his head on her shoulder or lap and using aegyo. He found Mei's reactions of embarrasment and outrage worth the slap on the arm or side of the head. However, she does get back at him with the aegyo, when they're alone. He thinks he can win her at aegyo, please. She's had years of experience, it's just that she hasn't practiced in a while. Oh how he'll regret starting that aegyo war. Still, Mei's heart fluters each and everytime he does something like that, especially the skinship, although she hasn't really admitted her feelings yet. She's quite stubborn. Still, they are known as the "cute pabo couple" who everyone knows that the chemistry and feelings are there except them. Well, at least Minseok is slowly coming into terms with it, but simply won't say anything because he is her guardian, not a royal. However, I think that once Mei realizes her feelings for him, they'll be no stopping her. She is stubborn after all.
