STYLE: She likes to wear comfotrable clothings, but at the same time they are stylish. She's self conscious about her body and doesn't think it's pretty so she's not comfortable with too revealing clothings. A skirt for exmple, she would prefer the length to be to right above her knees or to the middle of her legs. A shirt she would like it to be to the hem of the pants (if you catch what I mean ?). She can wear high heels, but not too high,and she's more comfortable with wedges type shoes.

PERSONALITY: Taeksoo as first is seen as a quiet, shy and timid girl, but as you get to know her she could be just as funny annoying as Ken. She shy around new people and when she's on camera (except for performances). Taeksoo, shares a lot of traits similar to her older brother Taekwoon. She's pretty much quiet, but she's sharp. She notices things that others don't, since she takes time to analyze the situations around her.  She's not one to show emotions easily or freely like the rest of her band mates, but she's opened up to them a lot, now she even starts conversations. Before she couldn't stand people touching her without her permission, but now she can handle being hugged suddenly by them. She likes skin-ship since that is the way for her to show her affections beside speaking. She like her brother is a soft spoken person, she rarely raises her voice to anyone.

Though she's quiet most of the time, she really cares a lot for the members and is trying to be more out spoken on camera, though it's not easy. Though she too has her moments when she can let herself go. When she sees children and animals she completely forgets everything and plays with them. She doesn't care what others think of her then she does what she wants. But when she's with her brother, they both change in a way. Taeksoo becomes a person who loves to hug and talk and smile, even laugh! The same happens to Leo too. She's also very strong and competitive, but it doesn't show all that much, so everytime people see her strength, they are always surprised.

She's also very protective of the people she cares the most about, like a lioness with her cubs. She will voice it if people get on her nerves as a warning and if the person still hasn't backed off she will back them off personally. On camera she very much like Leo then too. She's shy to show of what she got and when she laughes she hides her face in a way so that it's not shown, at all. But in all honesty, she's more comfortable with acting. 'Cause then she can let herself go and be someone completely different. Taeksoo thinks it's fun to be a different person, and it's also a way for her to explore the different sides of herself through acting.

Taeksoo is especially serious when she's training. Then she won't look at anything else and just focus on her singing and dancing. Sometimes she even forget's to eat, which has caused her to be sick a few times. One day when she was training, the rest of the trainees had a joint training. They all learned the same choreography and were to perform it in front of the CEO, VIXX, Seo In Guk, Brian Joo and the other people having a contract with Jellyfish. Then she was so serious in getting the choreography right that she forgot to eat and only drank water. Then when she danced she was so nervous and she was dizzy, but she still managed to dance until it was done. Everyone applauded and Sungmi out.

She's also a perfectionist. She will be so focused on getting everything right, so she will forget to take care of her own body. That is her biggest flaw.

BACKGROUND:  Before Taeksoo was born her birth father Jung Taejin, had been in China on a buisness trip to expand his company. On his first day, he got lost on the way to the hotel he was staying in. But luckily a woman who knew the basics of Korean found him and helped him back to the hotel. He wanted to thank her and so he got her number. He called her and they had a great time together, but Taejin had fallen for the woman who's name was Bao Xinzin. They had both fallen for each other and they went out together a lot. Then one night they made love and that's how Taeksoo came to be. They had a lot of talk that if Xinzin was pregnant and it was a girl they mad a promise to name her Taeksoo and if it was a boy, Taemin.

But when Taeksoo was born, Taejin wasn't anywhere near her or Xinzin at all. Xinzin had chased Taejin away without letting him know that she was pregnant with Taeksoo. She had got to know that Taejin ws already a married man with three daughters and one son. Xinzin was upset and angry and she chased him out of the house. She never saw him again and 6 months later she had Taeksoo. Xinzin always thought about the promise she made with Taejin and decided to stick with it, thus her name Taeksoo. As Taeksoo grew up she was used to having just her mother, but sometimes she would get curious and ask about her father, but Xinzin would change the subject or completely ignore she asked about him. But they had enough with each other and they loved each other. But Taeksoo was still lonley. That she had a mother and not a father had her bullied in school. In China it's frowned upon to have a child out of wedlock(?) and be a lone mother. 

She tried telling the teachers about the bullying, but they wouldn't do anything about it, so Taeksoo started to become selective mute. Only talking to her mother or her friends, but she started getting interested in music and dance. So she started learning guitar and violin, but she also learned ballet which she developed to learning sword dancing (will be exlpained later). As she got older she applied for Beijing's Ballet Academy and she got in. BBA is one of the hardest schools to get into, but she got in with a full scholarship and she did really well. As a reward for doing so great at both music and dance Xinzin took Taeksoo out with her to a pet store, there Taeksoo could have any pet she would like. And she chose a Siberian Husky whom she named Zhen, when he was a puppy i looked like this, but as he was fully grown he now looks like this.

When BBA one day had a dance performance Jellyfish CEO Hwang Saejun was there on a vacation and decided to watch it for fun. But as he watched the performance he fell for the passion and the hard work that was shown through Taeksoo's dance. You could say he was captivated and he knew he had to make her a trainee under his company before anyone else did. That urge only intensified when he saw her dancng with swords! So when the show was over and done with he went to see if he could talk with her. He found her and Taeksoo was with her mother Xinzin, she still knew a little Korean so she spoke with Saejun about the matter. Xinzin didn't want Taeksoo to go to Korea without reassurance that she would be okay there, so she had to take Zhen with her. Saejun didn't mind and let Taeksoo have a place of her own until she would have to move into a dorm, Zhen would go with her then too.

When she got to Korea Saejun assigned a Korean teacher to her so she could learn the language and the customs. Later she would be introduced to the rest of the workers at the company, including the other trainees and VIXX. When the introduction was done with Taeksoo was called in to Saejun's office. He had noticed similarities between her and VIXX's Leo. Taeksoo didin't know of that so they called Xinzin and had her come to Korea. Then the truth came out about Xinzin and Taejin. It turns out that Leo was Taejin's son and Xinzin requested to meet with Taejin and talk.

Talk they did, the rest of the Jung family was there too and they couldn't believe it. Taejin's wife Minhee and their daughters Jinhee, Minjae and Saehee didn't want to have anything to do with either Taeksoo or Xinzin, but Leo. He decided to give them a chance. He was more open minded than the rest of his family. He even said he could help Taeksoo get better in her Korean. During those times Leo and Taeksoo had gotten to know each other well. Now it seems like they have known each other since birth, and the fact that Taeksoo is Leo's younger sister has made him protective of her. He would protect her from the hated looks from his family (exept from Taejin) and the curious questions and glances from s and everyone else. To Leo it didn't matter that Taeksoo was just his half sister. "A sister is a sister, no matter how you look at it," he once said to her. Now she lives close to his dorm (in the same apartment complex) so if there is anything he's just a few minutes away. He also likes to play with Zhen. Zhen has taken a liking to Leo and doesn't mind him, but he's still wary of the rest of VIXX who has also become closer to Taeksoo through Leo. Now everything is going well and Taeksoo's Korean is getting better, but she still has a little accent slipping through from time to time.

POSITION: 2nd Lead vocal, 2nd Lead Dancer

PERSONA: Momma Lion (Lioness)

FANCLUB NAME: Cubs (it fits her persona and her lioness personality)
EXPERIENCE AS A TRAINEE:  As she was the youngest trainee people took it easy on her and she only focused on teaching her the basics of the Korean language. At that time she just started there as a trainee and no one knew of her relation to Leo yet. When she was 14 the relation between her and Leo came out and since he was one of the best trainees and so people had high expectations of her. Some teachers pushed her to the max and she was pretty worn out after each session. She tried telling them that Leo was Leo and she was herself. She wasn't like Leo, Leo was a vocal and she was a dancer. She couldn't understand why the teachers couldn't see that.

She wanted to be a better vocalist, but the more she was pushed the harder it was for her to concentrate on her singing. Saejun saw that and asigned Leo himslf to help her. Leo knew what she was having a hard time with and helped her with that. Of course he was strict, but he was fair and when he saw that Taeksoo was having a hard time they took a break and did something else. "Too much of one thing is bad for you," he said to her. When she was 16 she had gotten a lot better with her Korean and her singing was as good as it could get, but now it was time to learn dance, hip hop dance. The only form for dance Taeksoo knew was ballett and sword dancing. Both of them are the more slow, sofisticated and graceful type of dance. Hip hop on the other hand, are more tough, fast and powerful. To Taeksoo it was a hard time learning a whole knew genre which was so foreign to her. But she already knew the rythm and the basics for hip hop since their roots are from both ballett and jazz dance genre. It was a lot easier and a lot more fun to learn dance than singing. 

But then again, she still had some problems with her singing and since her dancing was on pair with the best she focused more on her singing. Leo still continued to teach her all that he knew. When that was done, she had to explore her vocal ranges and her voice entirely, by herself. To find her own voice. It was hard, but she managed.

BEST FRIENDS:  [Han Sanghyuk || 18 || Hyuk is the maknae of VIXX, but he's the only one she knows at the moment who is the same age as herself, a 95-liner. With Hyuk and the rest of VIXX Taeksoo dares to be herself, loud and fun, sometimes she's like Ken. Hyuk is like an another brother to her and it's the same for Hyuk. They are like siblings.
FRIENDS:  Hwang Raehyun|| 18 || They have been friends since the day Taeksoo enrolled in Seoul Performing Arts High School. Raehyun have also been helping Taeksoo with her Korean.
FAMILY:  
Mother | Bao Xinzin | 45 | High School Teacher | Xinzin is the loving and caring mother. She would sacrifice anything to see her daugher happy. Taeksoo has no secrets for her mother and it's the same the other way around. They do everything together, they go out to eat, shop and the like.
Father | Jung Taejin | 60 | Buisness company CEO | Taejin is an open minded man and he was actually happy to have another child, in this case Taeksoo. He's willing to get close to her and get to know her and so far it's going well, but it could have been better. Though Taejin just got to know he had another daughter he's already a little protective of her, like how a father should. Taeksoo doesn't mind since she's always wanted a father.

GROUP NAME: VIXX
HOW THEY MET?: They first met when Taeksoo was introduced for the rest of Jellyfish staff  and trainees when she was 12. At that time no one took her seriously since she was so young, but she quickly proved her worth by demonstrating sword dance. N didn't think much of her then, but as he saw Leo taking an interest in the girl he couldn't stay still. N, for some reason felt attracted to her, but he treid to ignore it. But as Taeksoo grew older and matured more. The attraction only intensified and as they worked together for different music videos from the same company. He realised his true feelings for her.

He decided to confess, but then he got to know that Taeksoo was Leo's sister which none of them knew. N then knew it would be hard to get Taeksoo sice he had to go through Leo, so he mustered up the courage to ask him if he could go out with his sister. Leo was relucant, but he agreed, but if N hurt his sister in any way, shape of form Leo would personally send him to Hell. But it all relaied on Taeksoo, if she wanted. So N asked her out and she agreed, but it was just to try and see if it would work. It turns out that Taeksoo had had a secret crush on N for a while. So she agreed to be N girlfriend. N treats her like a princess, hence his nickname for her: Gongju.
