what's the deal with doing anything just to get high yt view?

is it so prideful to have your idol get millions of view bcuz you repeated the vid (without watching for the sake of wanting to watch) over n over n over fking again?

i just never get it.

is there any pride in that?

if anything it only makes yt views a very unreliable/unrespectable source of measuring popularity...it makes watching a video meaningless...not for the sake of enjoyment in watching but for the sake of counting n ranking...

i won't lie...there was a time i got carried away n joined for the sake of oppar.....but not as crazy to repeat the whole fking day...

in fact, it made me kind of...ashamed...n then i stopped after less than a day n rational thinking hit me.

these past years yt has developed some sick trends...like all these repeat fking million times to boast having millions of people watching...haha...or those 'i'm just here for XXX', 'XXX brought me here' trend which i fking hate! (bcuz more than sometimes it turned out so disrespectful to the video owner/to the videos themselves)

honestly...do you guys really find it something worth boasting?

i'm not targetting any fanbase in specific, though i know certain fanbases started the trend some years ago...n all others followed or tried to follow. eh...tsk tsk...back then it was done in secrecy...but now it's something to be proud of that people would even say it in the videos...ohmy...

i'm sorry for my inability to appreciate this sort of 'dedication'...to me it just lacks class n it's....it's just sick. it's not even respectable, what more to be boasted. not for me. way back then yt views can really show a measurement of popularity before this sick trend started...but now...eh...it's meaningless.
