So...i downloaded some Love & War Idol Special over the weekend...actually i was looking for the Woori-Mblaq's G.O episode...but i ended up downloading ZE:A's Junyoung & Girl's Day Yura 's one as well since i found the subbed one for them. i guess this is good for some comparison...of course, the plot n characters are different so direct comparison is impossible but some aspects can be looked over i guess. unfortunately, until now i haven't watch the first idol special in full(ZE:A's Dongjun & Jewelry's Yewon & 4minute's Jihyun)...

you can watch here(no subs for their episode though T^T): http://www.tudou.com/programs/view/F4-IjlCngwU

I must say that i'm prepared for the worst after seeing knetizen's bashing on Woori n G.O acting. BUT, i'm seriously baffled n surprised that Woori is so much better than i expected n i don't even get the hate. okay, it's knetizens, why am i surprised? even if it's international netizen, Woori has often been hate subject of jelly fangurls anyway... how silly of myself to be surprised tsk.

I won't say her acting is perfect, of course...what do i know? but she's acting as working/adult woman...n i think she carried her character well. she didn't overact. matured woman doesn't have big reactions for every fking thing you know? (even for adult's theatre subtlety is important as opposed to blatant portrayal as in children's play) but for most parts, she didn't lack emotions at all n she's not stiff/awkward. even when she didn't have much expression in some scenes, her eyes showed emotions. that's what impressed me the most actually. Her eyes, they were twinkling with her character's feelings, whether she's happy, sad, upset, etc. i love just looking at her eyes to see if she's nailing the scene or not. and there's definitely no problem with her body language/acting methinks. i love her during her emotional scenes because she did the best for those scenes. Her character really had bad luck in everything happening...n she has lots of crying scenes. but i love that she's not those pathetic damsel in distress, and that when her boyfriend/fiancee/husband(idk) cheat, she kept her pride n moved on, even though she didn't pretend to be emotionless toughie. awesome characterization for a woman. n how she always prioritize her family/mom than herself.  G.O on the other hand...honestly, has more space for improvement. i think he's pretty good with voice expression though, but idk about his emoting...sometimes he looks confused to me, he did fine for some scenes but as the story got heavier n he's lured to the dark side...idk...... you might think 'who's this chick to decide oppar's acting' rite? well...not to boast, but...i did have some little lesson in acting(for stage plays though-both children's play n adult's theatre) in uni n i directed a play for final year assessment though yeah of course it's not the same with tv drama acting. idk why i'm telling all these here, probly cuz i'm sure there won't be many reading? haa.. G.O is kinda awkward in many scenes(though he definitely has no problem in singing scene xD) and his character's transition to a cheating boyfriend-trying to escape burden or whatever is a lil....eh....? it's like he changed 180 degrees overnight without any hesitation/lingering of his old character as the caring n supportive boyfriend. but as a team, i don't think they did as badly as netizens complained. not at all. Woori especially really endeared me to her character, which is already endearing but helped with good acting(i feel really sad during the scene she was eating cup noodles alone outside during lunch idek why i felt so...lol). and though i'm not a big fan of the really short dresses n skirts for office attire...but she looks awesome whenever she wears long pants. definitely rocking the look. G.O didn't make me hate his character so much either, neither did i feel too bothered by the acting...though i did desire for more.

now, shall i talk a little about the other episode, as bonus since i'm not going to do separate post for it...i guess. i'll keep it as short as possible since it's not Rainbow related. i think Yura did pretty good with her limited character who honestly, i find really annoying as a character even with the young n naive/immatured excuse. i admit Junyoung isn't the best idol actor out there. he's kinda awkward honestly(i think i would want to see him in long sitcom to build his ease/comfortability with acting) but he did pretty good with his pathetic but that perfect kdrama 2nd lead white knight in shining armour. especially, with J-Walk's Jang Suwon who played Yura's husband....made Junyoung look like he's eligible to contend for best actor award. seriously, that guy's acting is just............................................*died*.*crying*. i really don't like bashing but....*crying*....well, at least the female lead is not one of my fav girls....*relieved* (though nothing against yura,i did somewhat feel bad for her) ...anyway, i didn't like Yura's character at all. though i can understand her for some parts n she just happen to be caught in bad timing n situations for most parts. but it doesn't justify her lying around to be the 'perfect girl' for her dream guy while using the other guy whenever she's in trouble in the name of friendship. if Junyoung's character is really her bestest/treasured friend, wouldn't she have defended him when the husband showed disliking or saying something unfavourable about him? especially knowing he did no wrong. to me, that's the least a friend could do. n she didn't. i think the drama was trying to portray her as pure hearted young girl in love in her naive way...but idk....i think that portrayal/characteristics would be acceptable for schoolgirl...not college girl...just sayin'. anyway, Yura still did good for her character though. i think the character could've been more hateable with worse portrayal. she didn't made the character endearing enough for me to root for her, but she didn't make it worse either so...yeah. that guy though.....*crying*....wae...i didn't like the fashion though...do college students really wear shorts like 24/7?.....idk...lol.

So...back to Woori, random but last weekend i was switching tv channels, n one channel was airing You're My Pet...n suddenly i saw Woori lol. i told you, it's so random. n Love & War is not her first time working with Mblaq member in a drama as she's acted with another member in sitcom in the past(i believe she was paired with a different guy though....though i didn't follow the sitcom...correct me if i'm wrong) she also act in a  more recent drama, Shining Romance...though idk much about the drama or her character. So far, most Rainbow members have ventured in acting...and Woori's acting in Love & War really made me view her acting favorably. Jaekyung was pretty good n natural too in her drama(though i couldn't find more than 1 episode of it....T^T...at least she's the lead so one episode was enough to give lots of scenes) Noeul-i haven't watch her drama...i couldn't find her cut though i've looked for it...somebody link me T^T...Yoonhye-watched her in 1-2 cuts, n i'd say i'm anticipating to watch more. she has potential i think n i'm glad she's in long episode weekend drama as part of main characters...and is she wayyy prettier with less makeups. Seunga, i think she's glowing in her musical...but i can't say much from her acting in her short drama...her appearance is too small...n i think i expected more 'acting' even with the small role...but i'd like to see her in a more relevant role n see how she'd do. i don't think Jisook n Hyunyoung went into acting, or did they? though i think Hyunyoung would probly do well. just a prediction. lol. that girl just has shown many surprising sides to her. wait a sec...now i remember....all Rainbow members acted together  in mbc The Dramatic or something...so i can just go watch there. xD (coincidentally, in the advertisement, theres also episode for Mblaq, ZE:A and Girl's Day....but ....i just realize....ZE:A's the only one that didn't have it in the end...i think they're replaced with another group probly...2am? i'm not sure but i saw an episode for them so well...yeah....-_-...excuse my disappointment... but i think unlike other groups, Rainbow has 2 episodes of their drama, so yay)

and to end this...

a little something for those who want to ship Woori n G.O... it's just too adorable n cheesy. lol. to be very honest...i'm extremely scared to ship my girls with any boygroups. Rainbow is always hated for everything...everytime, it only end up in me marking the fandom who often bash them n hate them fangirls(how matured of me haha)...so i try not to ship them too much with anyone except if there's some legit shipable thing like drama/variety shows coupling n so on....even then, i didn't dare to ship/pair too much because i'm just tired of hating more n more fandoms...well, speaking of this...i think you can anticipate for post about who Rainbow think are the most handsome male idols(omg...protect your oppars!!!!!) except for those who already know/watch/read about it...i'm targetting mainly for Rainbow-noobs here anyway...yknow...those who barely know them (n yet judging them)....so you get a sense of who/what you're judging. you already know that, rite?.

even though Rainbow Rambling has been getting much less readers/stalkers than ZE:A Series...i feel very happy n enthusiastic with this series...i guess sometimes getting less attention makes you express yourself with more ease bcuz there would be less eyes judging on you n you can blabber more haha....i still hope i would manage to make at least 1-2 new fans for Rainbow through this series by the end of it. (i had the same goal with ZE:A Series btw though i didn't know if i succeed anyway, considering the lack of response in comments) i'm just worried i'd just end up making more haters for the girls. yikes. If there's any specific thing you want me to cover/post in this series...don't hesitate to let me know, anything you want to know...i'll try find it out for 'ya...though i can't promise i'd be able to...it depends on the availability of the answers to what you want to know since i don't have much knowledge on the girls. i think we're moving fast here. well, just hold on to your seats (literally) n enjoy the ride while we're at it.
