Personality: Seunghwan is a childish little brat in the body of an adult. He whines, kicks, throws a tantrum and even starts flailing if he doesn't get what he wants. His parents often give him what he wants in fear of such a feat happening. He's also a pretty big idiot [mainly because he just blanks out a lot]. Give him a simple equation and he'd just stare at you for a few seconds before screaming the answer out. He tends to be extremely loud, so stay at least two metres away from him. Seunghwan also overreacts. He explains things with great movements [again, give the boy some space], arms waving around and everything. But even with all this, Seunghwan can be shy when a person he doesn't know approaches him.

However, Seunghwan is a sensitive and fragile, vulnerable guy. Jokingly telling him he's stupid when he's actually being serious can damage his already low self-esteem a lot. He knows he's kinda slow, knows he can be annoying, but that's how he is and he doesn't know how to change. He's very dependent on the people around him to lead him and tell him what to do.

Background: Seunghwan has an older brother [who, by the way, dotes on him a lot] and kind, sweet parents. He also had a younger twin brother, but he was too weak and had died a day after. It was because of this that they always gave him what he wanted, did everything for him and showered him with attention [hence his dependence to those around him and his childish attitude], to make up for Seunghwan's twin as well. His parents aren't poor, but they aren't overly wealthy either.

It was when he was a small thing, watching people jumping around and singing on TV, when he first decided to become an idol. He begged his mother to enroll him in singing classes, and even dance ones. It took him a year for her to agree, and Seunghwan put his life into the lessons. Three years later, he believed himself to be ready for auditioning. His parents [and brother] refused profusely, lecturing him for hours [not really. It was more like two minutes], but eventually they gave in to his puppy eyes [ah, the perks of being the pampered child]. The first time he had auditioned was when he was fourteen, but he was accepted into YG Entertainment on his second try at the age of fifteen [he wanted a little more practice before trying again].

They then left him alone, but spoke loud enough for him to hear - "he thinks he's so much better than us, when he really ." Seunghwan's self-esteem dropped, and he began making huge mistakes in practice. The more scoldings he got from the instructor, the worse he got. The group of trainees stopped talking about him, and instead just seemed to smirk cruelly in his direction when he looked at them. Hwan cried himself to sleep a lot, but with his family's and friends' help, he managed to debut.
