So, because I’m apparently an idiotnoona, as well as a ynoona, I’ve been captivated by more writing contests. This, despite having a ton of real life stuff to finish (and I mean, seriously, it needs to be done, but yeah, not going to rant about my own tendency to procrastinate) and of course, two unfinished fics.

Anyhow, these are the writing contests that have captured my interest, and of course, I always encourage everyone to give them a try! Not only because the more, the merrier, but I totally find these a blast. I mean, I love writing on my own initiative (or let’s face it, on my muse’s—cranky ahjumma that she is), but there’s something really fun and challenging about writing according to someone else’s specifications.

There are contests that I am definitely going to join and those that have caught my eye, but I’m still (in the parlance of Kdrama actors) considering favorably. Come join in!

All right, I confess I didn’t just post this to showcase my own idiocy or to entice you to join a writing contest (although that would be great!). I also need your help.

See, entering these contests is going to eat up my writing time. Like, a lot. Also, my miniscule brain just cannot handle so many different plotlines and characters.

Originally, I was planning to alternate updating Payment in Kind and Opposing Destiny, but that’s going to be next to impossible for me. Chaptered stories are a special kind of torture (writers, you feel my pain, right?), and for me, are infinitely harder than oneshots. A oneshot and one chaptered story, I think I can handle. A oneshot and two chaptered stories? Yeah, that would lead to death for this poor old noona (and not the pleasant hamster-induced kind).

So, okay, getting to the point, I need your help selecting which chaptered fic I should focus on finishing first. Note that the fic that loses is NOT going to be discontinued. It’s just going to be put on hiatus until the winner and all my contest entries are done. I have the basic skeleton of both chaptered fics done, but neither the time or energy to dedicate to both simultaneously. Therefore, I need your help!
