*sigh*...I'm getting so annoyed...

Apparently you can tell that there are a lot of new people to the Kpop fandom. A lot of new people who are obviously very misinformed about a lot of things. And I mean, they MUST be new to Kpop, because that's the only explanation I can think of whenever I hear them talking so much about 2NE1 supposedly "flopping". The sad part is, most if not all of the ones who say that are EXO stans.

Now, the reason I think they must be new is because they obviously have NO CLUE how the charting system works. As a matter of fact, I think a lot of people don't understand how it works.

The ONLY reason 2NE1 hasn't won as much as they would normally do, have this had been back in 2011, is because they have yet to release a full album. And as some of you may or may not know album sales are very important when charting or winning music shows, they count for A LOT, in some shows it counts for the majority, of the points.

The fact that they still even managed to get in the top three let alone actually win with all of their singles this year without having to release a single album further proves how far superior they are. It's a HUGE deal, and it's sad that people aren't even acknowledging it, let alone belittling it.

Look at Hyorin. She came out with a full album and even after weeks of "Missing You" being released, she still couldn't surpass them. In fact, she's not even ranking top three on music shows anymore. I wouldn't dare call that a failure, because the truth of the matter is that she did well for her solo debut, and she managed to chart and win. But it baffles my mind how no one calls that a "failure" when 2NE1 accomplished so much more while doing so much less. I'm pretty sure if they had an album out, they would've destroyed like they did back in '11 with I Am The Best, Hate You, Ugly, and Lonely.

Of course people like EXO, who take out 20 versions of one album, will constantly rank up in charts and win music shows. No freaking . But don't belittle other artists hardwork just to put them up when others can easily do the same. If you're going to praise your idol, simply praise them, because remember that those same people you're insulting for "their sake", are the same people they admire and respect.

I have been a fan of Kpop since 2004 and it's sad that rather then growing closer as a community, it's only gotten worse with the next generation idols. It's so hard to believe that they were a lot more mature about things than they are now. Back then artists could collaborate without people immediately throwing fits about it. They're only collaborating! They're not dating! I'm pretty sure you wouldn't know even if they were. So while your hating on the girls your "oppas" collaborate with, just know that the actual chick who's banging them all is somewhere in the back having the time of her life because no one would've ever expected it. Back in 07-09 there were a number of great and memorable collabo's. Like the greatest of the great, WonderBang! If people wouldn't be so overddramatic, we could possibly have one of those great collabos again. But artists are sometimes afraid to get near one another, let alone be have their name associated with another idol that can bring them backlash from the crazy fans.

(Note: I used 2NE1, Hyorin and EXO simply as examples. And though I'm not a fan of EXO and SISTAR's music, I actually respect all the idols aand like them as people. They seem cool.)

I just wish fans from EVERY fandom will be more respectful towards one another AND to other idols... AND most importantly be more MATURE.....

Ugh IKR?
I never understood the possessiveness of fans and their idols. I guess it's because I started liking KPOP after I went through puberty and whatnot, and realizing that the idols were my sister's age (who already went through a relationship) so it was kinda weird that they were single.

It honestly took me a long while to get into EXO unlike some fans who jumped the bandwagon. I've only been a KPop fan since 2010 but the first group I became a fan of was DBSK :) Though it was around the lawsuit period (just my luck I suppose ^^;) but yeah. Just because a group, a female group does a collab with a male group it doesn't mean they're dating you're absolutely right about that!

It's so silly when people bash girl groups for that reason. Some Super Junior fans, did the same exact thing to SNSD since they collab with SuJu sometimes it's irritating..
