Background :

Soohyo grew up in a not-so-wealthy household. It was also a little bit strange for others at least to see her only being raised by her single father as well as having an older brother. Soohyo's mother died while giving birth to her and even though her father didn't hate her for for it - afterall, his wife did leave a beautiful girl behind - but her brother seemed to have some really bad ill feelings towards his baby sister. These feelings continued for awhile until they were a little bit older but how did they stop? I'll get to that eventually. Soohyo's father at the time worked as a baker in a resteraunt and the pay was good, but it was barely enough for all three of them to survive on. He always seemed to be picking up some delivery route to do and having her older brother or her uncle look after her when they were in dire need for some extra cash... Both of the siblings grew up with a love for music for some odd reason. They just fell in love with girl groups such as Fin.K.L and boy groups like Shinhwa. They later on discovered that Soohyo had a natural talent at singing and her brother was great at playing instruments. They knew what they wanted to be from the moment they discovered these talents and that was to become a singer and to become a professional instrumentalist.

Even though her brother still didn't like her all that much, he usually gave in to her because of their common interest in music. I guess at some point that hatred he had towards just disappeared completely and now all he does is dote on her and is extremely protective of her. Over the years, their finicial status got better and better to the point that they began to have extra money left over after each paycheck their dad recieved. When her brother was 19 and she was 16, their dad had managed to save up enough money with their uncle in order to buy their own bakery and run it. So they did. Their uncle and dad became co-owners with their dad being the head baker and their uncle being the manager. The bakery is was pretty damn successful and their dad and uncle managed to purchase a house that they would all live in together along with her two male cousins a year after the opening. They didn't have a mom either and no one talks about her, so Soohyo honestly doesn't know what happened to her. And if they prefer not to talk about it, then Soohyo won't bring it up. Since then Soohyo has lived a normal life that consisted of school work, helping out in the family bakery and singing.

Soohyo's father was never against his children being so into music but he will never know what got into him when he agreed to Soohyo becoming a trainee under PS Ent. Once she graduated from high school, her first line of duty was to become a trainee under a company and debut as soon as possible and yes, she somehow managed to convince her father into letting her. With that being done, she's one more step closer to her dream but she knew that one day she would have to take over the bakery alongside her brother and cousins, but for now all she wanted to do was sing and that is what she would get.

Personality :

Despite her adorable face, no one would ever expect how mature past her years she is. Soohyo grew up watching her father constantly make sacrifices because of her and her brother for most of her life, so it's only natural that she would do the same. She gives up things that she may want or need if it helps the others around her. Soohyo always places others before her self and has been proven to be a truly caring girl for the people she cares about and sometimes even strangers. I guess you could also say this makes her sincerly kind in her words and gestures and everything she does come from the heart. She also grew up a bit more on the independent side after watching her father take care of her and her brother by himself for so many years without really depending on the help of others, Soohyo has made it her goal to be the same. She wants to be able to depend on only herself as she gets older and not the others around her. She doesn't want to be a burden which is how she feels she was towards her father even though he has never said that. Because of all these mentioned factors, many consider her motherly with the way she cares about others and makes sure that they're doing well before she worries about herself.

But even so, there is still such a thing as being too independent for your own good. Soohyo has always been the one to care for the others around her and she's not used to be cared for by others unless it's her family. She doesn't accept the help of others no matter how much she may need it. Many just wind up getting frustrated by her and demand to know why she won't accept their help even though she badly needs it, her reactions will always be that she can take care of herself. Maybe this is also why she doesn't have millions of friends despite her selfless kindness. Even though she's a fairly easy person to get along with in general, it becomes difficult to be friends with someone who constantly pushes away your help. Soohyo has also been seen to be very stubborn in her ways of doing things and it's really hard to change her mind once it's been set. She's a difficult person to convince for about anything and I guess that's what makes her even more like a mom. Soohyo is also not very fond of drastic changes because she's a creature of habit and if something very sudden were to happen, suddenly changing her set habits, she won't take it very lightly. She's the type of person who needs to be gently settled into changes with tiny little things that will make a huge difference in the long run... You could also say she was the most hurt by the disbandment as well and one of the most affected.

Habit :
- She hums/sings any chance she gets. Soohyo has been known to be singing or humming to herself when she's walking down the hall, sitting around, laying around, taking a shower, etc. You can usually tell what kind of mood she's in depending on the song she sings. For example, if she's in a good mood then Roar by Katy Perry could be something or even whatever kind of song makes her feel happy. If she's feeling down, she'll wind up singing/humming some sad OST song that she heard on iTunes.

Facts :
- She loves cell phone games. Heera always have some sort of new game that she's playing and she usually plays the ones that recieve good reviews and praise. Right now she is currently playing an American favorite called Candy Crush, a game that is currently whipping her .
- Soohyo uses an iPhone 5 with this case. She later on switches to a 5c in blue when it's released later in the year.
- Is a huge fan of Fin.K.L (especially of Lee Hyori) and Shinhwa. Has all of their songs on her iPod.
- Graduated from Seoul Performing Arts High School.
- 1/4 of the heir to the family bakery, "Blue Velvet."
- One day she wants to go to Japan and learn more Japanese and about the culture only because she's curious.
- She does like to write things such as journals or even short stories. Soohyo is not the greatest at it but it helps pass the time.
- She suffers from bouts of insomnia every once in awhile and they usually come around when she's stressed.

Love Interest 1 : Oh Sehun

Personality : Sehun is someone who is extremely hard to pin down for Soohyo. At one point he can be one of the sweetest and adorable person you have ever met, the next he becomes some sort of diva or brat. It's hard to dignify his transitions to either side of him but over the years Soohyo decided that he only became a diva or brat was when he was keeping something secret or hidden from the others or he was just closing himself off. Or even just to spite you especially if you're older. The rest of the time? He's one of the sweetest kids you'll ever meet. He's overall a pretty good guy, a bit confusing, but a good guy.

How did you meet? : Soohyo and Sehun have always known each other... Kind of anyway. Jihoon and him are childhood friends and so it's only natural that Soohyo and Sehun are familiar with one another due to how close Soohyo and Jihoon are. They only saw each other every once in awhile when Soohyo came to visit or spend the afternoon with her uncle and cousins with her dad and brother and sometimes he would happen to be over. The two however began to see each other more once the family bakery opened when she was 16 and he was 14 and even more after the move a year later. Once he debuted in EXO, they never really saw each other much not that they spoke to one another often when they did see each other. However they have a grand meeting once again at an event that both Inch and EXO are performing for... Let's just say they become quite closer after it.

Relationship : Mother-son; Sehun is two years younger than Soohyo and due to Soohyo's mother-like nature, it's only natural that she's going to want to baby Sehun like she would a child. Everytime they see each other, she instantly begins throwing questions at him and asking if he's well, has he been eating, getting enough sleep, etc. She's also been known to always fix his ear and dust off his clothes and primping him much like a mother. EXO, Inch and many others have defined their relationship as mother and son while they just view each other as simple friends or even semi-close aquaintances.

What are you thinking about him? : Sehun is nothing but a child to her. She honestly does view him as a child that needs to be looked after and has taken it as her own personal responsibility to do so. Sadly, she doesn't view him as anything else but that alone.

Love Interest 2 : Edward Seo (Eddie) [Ulzzang is Kim Do Hoon]

Personality : He has a very careless type of personality in the sense that he doesn't care what others think of him and that others shouldn't either. However, he is a very responsible and respectable young man and there are many who look like him. Eddie is just an overall really nice guy and the type of person that many parents would love to see as a son-in-law, brother-in-law, cousin-in-law, nephew-in-law, etc., including Soohyo's family.

How did you meet? : Eddie is actually a part-timer at the bakery and usually mans the cash register and helps set up displays. They were introduced by Soohyo's dad and uncle when Soohyo came in to help at the bakery one afternoon when she was free. They introduced him as a Korean-American male who is a year older than Soohyo from New York City. He came over from NYC and is currently staying with his grandparents while he does a special foreign exchange program at Seoul University with a major in computer engineering. I guess you could also say he gets along rather well with Junghoon as well... She was just introduced as the daughter of the bakery who is currently on the road to debuting as an idol. Yep. Nothing special.

Relationship : Aquaintances, maybe somewhat friends. They don't know each other well enough but they do enjoy the other's company.

What are you thinking about him? : Eddie is nothing but just a good guy to Soohyo. He doesn't hold my significance in her everyday life and he's aware of that. She finds him rather nice and a gentlemen but she doesn't seem much after that in him.

What do you feel once you know about the disbanding of Inch?: "Sad of course. I've come this far in my career to be able to debut in a group like I always imagined... Then it's just all gone and leaves me thinking what have I really accomplished, you know?"

The reason for Inch to be disbanded was because of financial problem. What do you think about that?: "It was to be expected. Once I heard about Cozy-ssi leaving, the first thought that came to mind was what would happen to us? What would happen to the company as a whole? Cozy-ssi was the main source of income for the company and now that she's gone... There's nothing. With the only actress leaving and having nothing but a mere rookie group... It was safe to say that company as whole would have financial problems and that we would wind up disbanding... With no money, there's no way to promote a group."

You have to apart from you beloved member, what do you fell? Is there anyone or anything to blame?: "I've spent so much time with them these past few months and to just say goodbye to everything? That's hard. I'm sad of course again, but what can you do? What has happened as happened and there's nothing that can be done. And no, I don't blame anyone or anything. I could blame Cozy-ssi for putting the company in such a position that would lead to our disbandment, but I know that she never meant any harm and she's doing whats best for her. If she's happy with her choice, then so am I. Life goes on."

What have you been up to after the disbanding of Inch?: "Before the disbandment was officially announced, the CEO came to me. He had plans to transfer me over to another company because he knew all I have ever wanted to do was sing and that it was my dream. The company I wounded up being transferred over to was Loen. I remember the day that me, him as well as with my dad went to the company to go sort out paper work... The media had managed to get pictures of entering and leaving the company and with the annoucement of Cozy-ssi leaving... It became out to public, with suspicion of course, that I was leaving PS in order to go to a more stable company. Everyone knew about it. It was a mess. No one expected the disbandment however until it was officially announced. Now that the disbandment is out in the open and I'm officially under Loen, it has been decided that I'll be debuting as a solo artist soon. I'm not too sure how long my career will last and how successful it will be, but I hope it will be far longer and more than Inch was in the short amount of time we are around. I wish my members - former now I guess - the best in their lives."

Activities :

- Debuted as a solo artist with the single 1, 2, 3, 4. Semi-successful.
- Made a comeback with It's Over with first mini album titled Red Romance. More successful.
- Released MV for Rose, a song off of the mini album, and made another comeback with that. Successful.

After some years past and you grew older, what did you do in your life?: "Let's see, after my fairly successful solo career began to die down once I turned 29, I decided to just go ahead and retire from the industry completely... Kind of. I actually currently run my own entertainment company with my husband and my brother- I didn't mention I was married? What do you mean that should have been the first thing I mentioned? Well, forget you then and let me continue. After I retired as an artist, I began to help out my cousin Jihoon at our family bakery. I'm sure you've heard of it; Blue Velvet. It's grown alot over the years and it's now a major hot spot in Seoul. Unbelievable, huh? I got married four years later at 33 to my darling husband. After much talk and agreement and even getting my brother involved who is an expert at insruments, we decided to open our own entertainment company when I turned 34. We've actually recently debuted our first group, a boy group called Haywire, about... A few months ago? Their debut was successful by the way. But anyway... Do I have any children? I do. I have a three-year old named Minsoo and oh, we're currently expecting another. I'm about three months along... Er, yeah. I believe I covered the basics in my life now. I still help out at our family bakery whenever I can but it's pretty much being taken care of by my cousin."

After 17 years, you hear again about Inch. What do you think about it? Are you still regret Inch disbanded?: "I actually just came back home from a tiring day at the company after working with some trainees and making preperations for Haywire's comeback. My husband was with me and we picked up Minsoo from the bakery after spending a day with my cousin and his family. Minsoo was watching TV in the living room while me and husband were in the kitchen, drinking coffee. I know, don't do that before going to bed but what can I say - I'm a caffeine addict. Anyway, we were discussing Haywire's comeback and my son has a really bad habit of turning up the TV really loud and we could both hear it from the kitchen. I walk into the living room with my husband falling close behind to turn it down and to scold Minsoo for it but... I stopped. Time Capsule was on the TV. And what were they doing? Talking about Inch. I didn't know what to feel. It was a mixture of sadness, frustration and overall just wanted to throw the TV out the window. But I didn't. My husband wouldn't let me even if I tried. I thought I've gotten over the disbandment of Inch after all these years... But I guess I'll never get over it. It was an important part of my life."
