I'm confused

Well today at school was awkward,I had to go to the theatre room with one of my fellow classmates.He is also a foreign exchange kid like me.We've been in this program for 6 years already.I knew him since I've started so he is my bestfriend. However,today I was confused by him. ..

He suddenly told me he was developing some feelings for me, Yeah,It's like a fanfiction is coming to real life. Yeah I support guys who like both genders! I even write about it .I'm staright though,yeah It may seem weird but I love reading and when I came across Fanfiction it seemed interesting and envious . I wish I can find love like these people in your guys stories or anyone stories.It's just I was confused and shocked by the sudden confession.

I don't know what to do I told him "I can't say anything,I can't return those feelings,I can't,I'm sorry." however he just smiled and said that he'll move on then.

Yeah I'm happy he's moving on but ,He has been ignoring me since.I'm sad about it.

I miss talking to him ,he's my bestfriend.

so should confront him?

After a revelation like that, he may need time to think and sort his feelings into two separate piles. The romantic feelings he has as well as the ones that someone who only liked you as a friend would feel. Give him a week or so, and then come up to him and show him you're fine with everything. And even though you guys aren't talking, wave and smile at him to let him know that nothing has to be awkward. And yes fanfictions are envious and interesting...OTL Do you still need help with your fanfictions by me giving you story ideas? Sorry for being so late, I've been so busy >~<

Try talking to him like you usually world, but if he's acting strange just confront him ^^
He's probably just worried that he has scared you, and you might not want anything to do with him now he has told you, just try talking to him to show you don't mind ^^

Give him time. If he ignores you for a long time then talk to him.
