You know, there are some nicknames people get that make you scratch your head a bit. Like, a burly athlete who could bench press an entire chorus line who goes by “Tiny”. Or a horribly mean girl whom everyone refers to as “Angel”.

That’s the case with Sunggyu, as well. LeaderGyu = HamsterGyu? Where did that come from?*

Um, okay, well, that’s just a coincidence! Just some unfortunate similarity in poses. And angles...That doesn’t mean the moniker Hamster is appropriate for our dear leader! That was a one time thing!
