Style— Depending on Joey's moods, she dresses how she's feeling or what she's in the mood for. Overall though, Joey wears neutral coloring and earth tones as it blends in with everything and for every occasion, despite her favorite color being red. Joey's style is either chic, pretty, casual, or girly despite her being an active girl in the sports area. When Joey's casual it's a cute or comfy tee and either jean pants or shorts. While in the dorms and practicing, Joey would rock the comfy and baggy clothing where she can move freely and can just relax in without being uncomfortable. Also to sleep, she prefers to be in a tank and booty shorts as they make her quite comfortable as her body heat makes her itchy if she's covered up along with the blanket wrapped around her like a cocoon.

Background— Joey lived in the states up until the age of eight before moving to Seoul permanently with her family. While her mother was a first-generation born in the states she has visited South Korea many times. Her father was born and raised in South Korea, but moved to the states for educational purposes. Anyways, the family moved due to her father's business relocation and to care for his mother as well since the death of his father and he didn't want her to be alone and the likes. Once moving to Seoul, Joey's parents enrolled her and her brother into Korea Kent Foreign School to continue their education, but to also be efficient in the English language as to not forget where they were born as well since their mother wanted them to still know the language.
— Joey at first thought it was weird growing up in South Korea because everyone's behavior was a little more withdrawn, traditional, and respectful compare to the open and brash ways of those in the states. Joey eventually got the jist of it, and adapted well, but she still missed her non-Asian friends, but ended up making new ones at the school. Joey would often visit back home to visit her grandparents on her mother's side and kept in touch with her friends there as well as much as possible. Anyhow, Joey couldn't get used to the idea that playing with the boys was seen as bad, and so luckily through her brother, he allowed her to play with him and his friends on a few occasions. This was how she also met Daeryong and Soryong through her brother. Joey did have a tough time making friends growing up with her own age and of the same gender since her views of things was different from her peers and how she turned out the way she did and only made a few good friends. Then again, she was luckily enough to find some that were like her in thinking and what not.
— Joey got into music thanks to the Jung Twins, and into dancing as well as she loved the way they move. She didn't get to see them as often, but when she did she would use up a lot of her time hanging out and learning from them whenever they got the chance too. Her brother, John a lot saying that she likes one or maybe even both of them, and Joey would just hit him back in return. Joey continued to root for the boys to debut soon and that she would be their number one fan. Anyhow, she decided to audition for JYP as that's where they were at the time, but she failed. Then she tried out for another company at the time which was Woollim, and she made it after her third try since she felt she wanted to be a part of Woollim. It may also have been due to John being a huge fan of Epik High and insisted his sister make it into Woollim. She was accepted in 2010 when she was in her first year of high school.
— Joey was with Woollim until 2013 when Woollim Label merched with one of SM Entertainment's side labels. Somehow in the process she was instead transferred over to be a SM trainee to her surprise. Something with paperwork and trying to work with each other and be a happy family and the likes. Joey actually wanted to stay with Woollim since that's where she was able to be with the Jung Twins who were now known as Tasty, and she became good friends with the other Woollim trainees and just gotten closer to INFINITE as well. Anyhow, Joey made due with her new stay in SMent and tried to get along with the trainees and artistes there while still trying to keep in touch with those from Woollim.

Personality— Daehyun is a charming kind of guy even though he may seem talkative, naughty, and prankster like. To which he is. He is also a gentle person, but has quite the temper even to where his Busan accent comes out. You don't wanna be under his wrath when this happens. Once Daehyun gets close with someone he enjoys teasing them and joking a lot around them, as he's comfortable, but sometimes he'll have his moments when left alone with them it's awkward. Other times, it's all dedicated to food. He's a food junkie, and loves to eat and eat. Daehyun can't quite share when it comes to food, and he's reluctant to do so, but will comply. He also worries over his dark complexion and becomes anxious at times about it. He is also a sore loser and will try to have rematches so that he can at least win once. Also, Daehyun isn't a ladies' man as he's more comfortable with guys, but he will treat the opposite gender like a gentleman, but he 's just a bit shy and awkward about it, too.

Trainee Life— Joey found it was tough, but she didn't give up because of how her friends were working in another company, and so didn't want to give up without really trying and what not. She thought she was a good dancer, but she found out that she was really lacking. So she ended up having more vigorous training and practicing on not only dance, but to sing and rap as well. Joey didn't really get it, but went with it. She had some good times here like making friends with the other trainees and learning a lot from her seniors, but she couldn't get over the long hours of practice and forgetting a lot of things while training. She almost got into a fight with another trainee, but eventually that was avoided thanks to another trainee coming to her aid. It was because Joey seemed to make quite a few pre-debut experiences than the others and they were wondering why she was having more than them when they were better skilled. Anyways, after two years though, Joey thought about just dropping out when she found out that Daeryong and Soryong had transferred over and this made her excited. Joey was happy that they were able to finally debut, but that she could be with them now and what not. Thanks to them, it made her stay bearable and happier. That was kind of short lived when she had to go to SMent because of bonding relationship, and she had it a little more tougher there and was somewhat bullied because they didn't want her to come and take their spot because of this merging and what not.
