» Gabriela is blood type A with a BMI of 21.5 and stands tall at 170cm and weighs in at 62kg with a sun-kissed tan that is slightly fading away the more time she spends in South Korea and not in Brazil anymore. She has a somewhat barely visible scar that is two inches long and a fourth of an inch wide on her right leg where she cut herself from a car's license plate when she was six years old because she was playing around with her friends. Gabriela has another scar on her right ankle which is the size of a nickle where she tipped over from riding a bike because she overturned near a corner street when she was nine years old. When Gabriela isn't lazy or when doing outdoorsy stuff, she wears prescriptive colored contacts because she's jealous of other people having other colored eyes whereas Asians will always be dominated by the shade of brown genes. Even if she's a mixie, brown has always dominated regardless on both side of her family.
» Gabriela also has her ears pierced. On Gabriela's right ear she has two earlobes piercings. On the left ear she has two earlobes along with a cartilage piercing. Thanks to doing sports since young, she's somewhat tone and has muscles, and muscles weighs more than fat, anyways, although most people do not know that fact. Gabriela has a bit of a curvy figure in some aspects like her and thighs, but it's only due to the many years of being active in sports that shaped them quite well. Gabriela has also gotten reconstructive surgery on her nose due to a soccer injury when she was twelve years old and burn scars were removed from her left hand, left arm, and left cheek due to an accident with super hot cooking oil caused by her step-brother, Kangdo, when she was seventeen. Gabriela also wore braces for two years when she first joined YG Entertainment. It was because she chipped one of her front teeth while trying to open a juice bottle with her teeth, and the cap ended up breaking her tooth instead. Because of that she had to get a crown for it, and eventually ended up with braces as well to fix it to align it perfectly and to correct her overbite.
FASHION STYLE
» Depending on Gabriela's ever changing moods, she dresses how she's feeling or what she's actually in the mood for. Overall though, Gabriela wears light and/or solid colors with simple patterns or designs, and the likes. Gabriela's style is either chic, pretty, casual, cute, simple, or girly despite her being an active kind of girl in the sports area. When Gabriela's casual it's usually a cute or comfy tee and either jean pants or shorts even going out to hang at a cafe or just wandering the streets with sandals, flats or wedges. While in the dorms and practicing, Gabriela would rock the comfy and baggy clothing look where she can move freely and can just relax in without being uncomfortable and knows that she can still wear it if she has to go out in public, too. Sometimes it'll be jean shorts with a cute tee and wearing flats as well. Also to sleep, Gabriela prefers to be in a tank and booty shorts as they make her quite comfortable as her body heat makes her itchy if she's too covered up along with the blanket wrapped around her like a cocoon. She will still dress this way even when it's winter time, but she'll wear socks around this time of year though. Gabriela always likes layering and plaid at times too. Gabriela isn't too picky per se, she just likes a lot of variety in her wardrobe.

» Gabriela is the kind of girl that fits the 'don't judge a book by it's cover' aspect. While she may appear girly, flirty, and ditzy like, she's really not. She just likes the pretty and fashionable style is all. Gabriela has made due to compromise her tastes and doesn't wanna hide a lot of herself. Of course she has her own darker secrets, but no one really has to know about that. It's why she portrays herself as is so that people don't start wondering things and asking obvious questions.
» Anywho, Gabriela is very competitive and the competitiveness comes from her father's side as her father is quite an athlete and hates losing. So Gabriela is quite sporty and she's pretty much game for anything as long as it is appropriate. This also makes her hands-on as she prefers doing things actively as it's a better stimulation for her. Although Gabriela can be easy-going and goes with the flow of her surroundings; she can be quite stubborn once she set her mind to do something or finishing it to the end. She hates being stuck and can't overcome the obstacle, but it varies between such things.
» So this can make Gabriela quite annoying when she gets opinionated as she has a bad habit of voicing out her thoughts out loud even though she tries to bite her tongue at times. Sometimes Gabriela's words can come out harsh and mean, but it's not meant to be perceive like so. Gabriela really means well and isn't an insensitive person as she comes out to be most of the time. She has learn to control it over the years, but sometimes her mind won't let her and the words just flow on out.
» Anyways, despite all that, Gabriela's weirdness wins over every other traits of hers. She'll have a conversation with herself and even role play different roles when having a one-woman conversation. Gabriela's not sure why she does this, but it's something that's a part of her and she can't really change that. Gabriela is also a team player and always watches out for those around her. To her, they become somewhat like family to her. Gabriela doesn't want to be treated with disrespect, and so she doesn't treat others like that. If you disrespect her in any way she doesn't retaliate back, but then don't expect to be in good terms with her if she suddenly isn't as friendly as before and is a bit more rough in some aspect.
» All in all, Gabriela is a real kind of person, and depending on how you treat her, she's either a friend for life or a tolerant acquaintance in the moment. Gabriela bases herself on how the other acts and how comfortable she is and what kind of vibe she is feeling from them. She's usually a great judge of character, but her weird self sense of mind usually gets the best of her and it flies on by her.
BACKGROUND
» Gabriela's mother, Bitna, met her father, Iago, when her mother was living in the states for her studies when Bitna was twenty-one years old and Iago was twenty-five years of age. They were both non-citizens of the country and met through mutual friends on several occasions as to help the foreigners mingle in the American lifestyle. Although they were somewhat both conversational and awkward in English, the attraction was there and it sparked instantly. Iago and Bitna found themselves falling in love with one another with each gathering and couldn't wait to see each other every time. Anyways, they soon began dating and eventually found themselves married thanks to the helping of their friends to get them to be wedded in America despite not being citizens two years later. Anyhow, another three years passed by and the couple had little Gabriela Haneul Sousa Chae and she was soon welcome into the world.
» Gabriela was born in Los Angeles, but she only lived there for two years before her father was relocated back to Brazil due to his job. The Sousa family permanently moved to Sao Paulo and where Gabriela lived and was raised there for twelve years. Somehow after seventeen years of marriage, her parents just fell out of love with one another and decided to get a divorce and Gabriela couldn't do anything about it. Gabriela wanted to stay in Sao Paulo and didn't want to move, but in the best interest for the child, her parents agree that she would ultimately live with her mother since her father's job took up most of his time and he would be too busy to care for her. Soon Gabriela found herself leaving the only home she knew and arriving at some unknown place that was unfamiliar to her at the age of fourteen.
» Once Gabriela found herself in her mother's homeland she knew that it would be quite difficult for her to adjust. Surely she was right since her mother then started to refer to her as 'Haneul, Haneul-ah, Chae Haneul' and she was never called 'Gabriela, Gaby, and Ela' from her mother since. Anyways, Gabriela disliked how her mother made it seemed like she was always born with a Korean name and that 'Gabriela Sousa' was never a part of it. She would tell her mom this, but her mother ignored it. The only time Gabriela won was when she would tell her mom that on her birth certificate it has her full name and not just her Korean name. Her mom would then drop the subject and not talk to her for a few hours. But to make things easier and to lessen complications and misunderstandings, Gabriela would use Haneul, so that she didn't have to explain her whole background to other people.
» While Gabriela was still relentless and stubborn as a growing teenager, Gabriela never spoke to her mom in Korean but always in Portuguese to remind her mom that she hasn't forgotten where she was from despite being surrounded by the Korean language. Of course later on, Gabriela learned that she wasn't going to get her old life back at all; especially now that she really had to learn and use Korean as at that time she was barely conversational. Because of her lack of the language, the culture itself, and still being angry with her mother, Gabriela took interests elsewhere and lost herself in music since it was the only thing she truly enjoyed and could escape from reality as music was able to relate to her without much effort. As for sports, Gabriela somewhat lost interest because it reminded her too much of her father and the pain was still strong at that time. So she put off in playing sports and focused on music related activities. Her mother had also signed her up for extra Korean language classes so that she would be able to catch up in speaking and understanding it better. So there wasn't much time for sports now. Also Gabriela lost contact with her friends back home as they felt she betrayed them and so she was now a little more withdrawn to socialize which hurt who she was.
» Anyways, about two years later of settling in and everything had already been finalize, her mother remarried. At sixteen years old, Gabriela thought it was too soon as two years seemed too short, but she was accepting of it, but it wasn't like she could control it. Either way, Gabriela knew that she just had to accept it. Just like how she had to accept the fact that her father barely contacted her back despite her efforts to keep in touch with him through many means of communications. Along with her mother re-marrying, she had to accept a new father figure as well as two step-siblings to which she became a big sister to. Yeah, Gabriela had to do a lot of accepting because she found herself moving again and going to a new school. An international school called Korea Kent Foreign School where they taught in English. It was where her new sister and brother attended and her mother thought it would be a lovely idea for Gabriela to attend too since it was a good opportunity to learn another language and be close with her new siblings.
» So, when she step foot onto KKFS' campus ground, this is where she met her bestie, Saeron, who was just some random, weird girl to Gabriela. Saeron was like her number one cheerleader and cheered her on whenever she did a sport, even though they were on the same team and what not. Gabriela at first found it weird and awkward, but soon got used to it and began to like it. It brought back her fighting spirit to enjoy sports again and to give it her all to play well. Also, it brought back her human nature to socialize with other people besides her mom and eventually with her step-family. Thanks to KKFS, she was able to enjoy all the sports she loved and even knew ones as well and to make new friends. It may have also helped Gabriela to be herself again and a lot more happier in that she was also surrounded by foreigners like her who were also not native to South Korea despite having Korean blood in them. Gabriela was beginning to see the bright side of things a bit better since her parents' divorce and the new marriage with her mom and step-dad.
» Around her first year at the new school, Gabriela met Harang through Saeron, and she would have never thought the two would be the best of friends because of their differing personalities. Gabriela was informed by Saeron of Harang's amazing dancing abilities, and Saeron egged Harang to show Gabriela. Harang at first didn't want to, but after much pestering she finally ended up doing so. Gabriela soon watched with fascination at how fluid Harang was and how she just captures your attention with her dancing skills. This piqued Gabriela's interest, and she wanted to give it a try. Harang told her that dancing is more than a hobby, but there was a difference from dancing with passion than dancing to impress. Gabriela didn't understand until Harang took her under her wing when Gabriela had no rhythm to go off of and Harang just couldn't see her friend's friend failing. Eventually though, Harang and Gabriela were able to get along and the duo of friends now became a trio of besties. Gabriela luckily caught on faster thanks to her years of playing sports making her body more flexible and enduring the movements despite her clumsiness at first, although she wouldn't consider herself the best dancer. Gabriela was only good at choreographed dance routines. She at freestyle most of the time. But having the abilities to move when the music was on brought a new level of happiness to Gabriela as she began to fall in love with music even more than she ever thought.
» Now, fast forward as to how she got accepted into YG Entertainment... it was all thanks to Harang. Gabriela became a good enough skilled dancer in a short amount of time which gave Gabriela the opportunity to show case her skills when Harang ended up injuring herself before a big dance competition that she was a part of. Harang had Gabriela filled in for her which threw Gabriela off and wondered how can she fill in for her friend when she wasn't an official member and what not. Harang just told Gabriella to wear a face mask and beanie and to not talk since Harang felt Gabriela would do a better job than the others because they were still slacking. Anywho, Harang trusted Gabriela, and Gabriela was nervous yet gamed to give it a go, and so she did. At that time, there was a YG representative that happened to be at this competition and scouted her to audition for the company. Gabriela was shock and surprise and she told Harang and Saeron about it, and the two encourage her to give it a go. Gabriela felt guilty for taking Harang's sot, but Harang dismissed the idea as it really didn't matter to her. Saeron told her that if she ever debuted, she would be her number one fan. Gabriela was accepted at the age of nineteen.
» Anyhow, before that time... Gabriela unexpectantly became a mother. Her step-sister, Yerin, became impregnated at sixteen by her senior boyfriend who then left her when he found out she was having his baby. During this time, Yerin didn't have anyone she could talk to since she felt Bitna still wasn't her mother nor she could talk it out with her father as she was still mad at him for remarrying. Yerin's only option was to abort the baby, but had no money to do so. In the end, she finally confided in Gabriela and told her everything. At the end of it, Gabriela felt sorry for her and didn't want her step-sister to abort the baby at all, and told her that she would help her through it all. Eventually, the parents were informed and were quite alright with it, yet upset at how Yerin was careless. To save face, they pulled Yerin out of school and sent her to go live with her father's parents until the child was born. Gabriela accompanied her so that she wouldn't be alone and to help her get through it. When Yerin eventually gave birth, she named the child Maru in hopes for him to be the 'crest of the wave', but had put Chae as his surname and that Gabriela was the mother instead.
» It was already decide that to save Yerin's chance of getting into one of the best universities, Gabriela made this pact on her own terms. Of course she knew it would seem weird, but she believed that Yerin was still too young and didn't need other people to judge her. Plus, having a child was a lot of work and she knew that Yerin would never be able to complete school if she worried about the child. Also, Gabriela didn't want her mother to bear the responsibilities since she was already past age and had enough to deal with. The best option was, well, herself. Gabriela thought it was the best choice to do, and so went with it after convincing Yerin after much persuasion. Anyways, this was how Gabriela indirectly became a new mama. Of course the parents were shock and speechless about it when the sisters return home with Maru and although they thought it was wrong, Gabriela being the stubborn goat she was convinced them it was better for them all, especially for Yerin. Plus, Gabriela felt like she would do a good job... until she realize that it would clash with her training at YGent. Of course, she kept that a secret from them and went on like it was nothing.
» Gabriela's interaction with her step-family is a lot better now since the birth of Maru and she isn't angry with her mom anymore, but when they have like mini fights they would argue in Portuguese for some odd reason, but the family knows not to interfere when Portuguese comes up. Anyways, Gabriela has come to love them and accept them into her forever changing life. Gabriela can't see herself without them now, and they have always supported her in whatever she decides, but of course there are always differences which is always normal in a family and what not. By now, she'll get some sort of response from her father, but it's always like a "late" birthday card, postcard, or a less than a minute voice mail, or even a lame e-mail with "hope you're doing well" like an afterthough. Gabriela accepts this too, and knows that her father isn't an important factor in her life now unlike how her mother and new family are right now. Gabriela wouldn't have it any other way.
» Gabriela was making breakfast when Kangdo distracted her. He then grabbed for the pan with hot oil in it and while stopping him, the contents in the pan flew in the air and to protect herself without thinking she threw up her arms to shield herself, but it eventually still burn a lot though. Also, when they first met, Kangdo began to call her Neullie since he always called Yerin, Rinnie, and so thought it would make them closer.
» The reason why Maru calls Gabriela, Lala Mama, is because of her parents. They would tell Maru, "go see Lala Mama", "let's go to Lala Mama", "look, Lala Mama is coming", and such. Bitna and Kangdae used 'Lala' as it's from 'gabrieLA' and so that 'Haneul' wouldn't have to be used. Also, it's to stray away from the usage of 'umma' as it doesn't seem right for all of them to use. and so instead they used the English word 'MAMA' to refer to Gabriela as the mother. mainly it's sort of like a rhyming thing and that it's easier to use and remember.

» still finds Korean hard to speak at times, and will just suddenly switch to Portuguese (and even sometimes in English if she doesn't remember the particular word in Korean) and then back to Korean (at the confusion of many)
» would prefer English over Korean if given the option to do so (she wished she was more fluent in English, but won't tell any Korean person that)

Kangdo also gets his way with Gabriela compare to Yerin, too, well most of the time depending on what it is. like if it's food than yes, if it's a game, then not really. Kangdo is somewhat aware of the whole Maru situation, but he doesn't know the whole story, and for him, he doesn't want to know as long as everyone is happy.*

» (ex-boyfriend/friend // Youngdeuk Kwon ((영득 권)) // 25 // Member of HITECH) *also an exclusive YGent dancer and they hooked up when she first joined the company, but broke up eight months later as they saw their relationship more as friends and not lovers after a while but thought it would change over time, but it didn't. anyways, when news break out about their past relationship it's an issue in some sense, but mang, it becomes a total uproar when it's later discovered that Gabriela has a child, and they all think he's the potential father. Youngdeuk tries to talk to Gabriela about it, but she won't tell him the truth or even discuss the situation. he wants to help her, but he doesn't want to push boundaries that will make Minjung jealous or cause even more problems.*

PERSONALITY » Daehyun is a charming kind of guy even though he may seem talkative, naughty, and prankster like. To which he is. He is also a gentle person, but has quite the temper even to where his Busan accent comes out. You don't wanna be under his wrath when this happens. Once Daehyun gets close with someone he enjoys teasing them and joking a lot around them, as he's comfortable, but sometimes he'll have his moments when left alone with them it's awkward. Other times, it's all dedicated to food. He's a food junkie, and loves to eat and eat. Daehyun can't quite share when it comes to food, and he's reluctant to do so, but will comply if he needs to or if he's feeling generous. He also worries over his dark complexion and becomes anxious at times about it. He is also a sore loser and will try to have rematches so that he can at least win once. Also, Daehyun isn't a ladies' man as he's more comfortable with guys, but he will treat the opposite gender like a gentleman, but he 's just a bit shy and awkward about it, too. Although this doesn't seemed to faze the opposite gender one bit.
FIRST MET » [if possible, i would love this meeting because i find it entertaining and different. bwhahaha and i've been pushing for this scene for a while... lol but let me know if it's not okay. ^^]
» They met one random day while Gabriela was out strolling late one night, and she wanted to clear her head and she missed walking leisurely out and about and who knows when she'll be able to do this again after debuting, and thought to do it at night since things were less chaotic than in the morning. While Gabriela was out walking, she bumped into HIM [love interest], not knowing it was him at that time since he was covered up. HE was out alone to buy food for the rest of the members because HE got outnumbered and lost the game and this was the punishment. HIS first reaction was that HE thought Gabriela was an aggressive and hardcore crazy fangirl that wanted HIS attention and was trying to do things to get HIM to notice "HER". Even though HE should of been normally calm and reserve about these kind of things in public and what not, but what with a lot of fans becoming sasaeng-like HE didn't want to take any chances since HE was alone. Alone at night, that's for sure.
» Anyways, at first Gabriela was like "he's crazy" and panicked a bit and didn't know what he was going on about and so she kicked his shin and ran away from him, calling him a "crazy bastard". HE was shocked by this and so HE didn't like that and chased after her for some odd reason that he could put some sense into this "sasaeng" fan. Once HE caught up to Gabriela, they quarreled, and she finally realized who he was once his face was revealed. Gabriela said his name in disbelief and shock while backing away like she was going to get in trouble. Gabriela then apologized while calling him "sunbae" and bowing, and totally ran off again, and HE was confused at the whole ordeal and didn't chase after Gabriela again because the whole thing was just puzzling to him.
RELATIONSHIP
» Since HE doesn't recognize her [as of yet], they are just sunbae/hoobae status... unless on variety shows and what not, then it's kinda like noona/dongsaeng moments if the hosts/shows makes them interact together. Anyways, Gabriela's actually careful around him as so she doesn't expose herself to him and is actually happy that he doesn't remember her. Other than that, they are quite respectful of one another and treat each other in a friendly manner that is respectful. [haha... is this too neutral and plain?] Anyways, Gabriela isn't in love with the guy or anything [as of yet?] and so treats him like any other person just with more respect. But, if they somehow end up competing against one another, she'll totally cream him that's for sure. [lol]
» INTERACTION INTO THE FUTURE: Later on, she would become aware of him and find out that she really likes him and he totally occupies her mind a lot and she doesn't know what to do. All she can do is try to ignore and avoid him, but sometimes that seems impossible at times as they would run into each other more often and the likes. Plus, when he finds out that she's the girl that he met that one night ago, he's out for a little fun in "revenge" and does a lot of things to tease and mess with her in a fun manner. [is that good enough? ^^" lol]
OUTCOME » awkward, professional... but in denial with feelings for one another and then trying to treat the other without revealing feelings and such. + confessions, confessions, confesion! her background, trusting him, and admiting their feelings for one another and start dating or become closer as friends before going the next level and what not.

TRAINEE LIFE » It wasn't that bad and she did fairly well. Of course she had some issue with being late or leaving early which always concerned Maru, but she told no one about that. Of course she would not see Maru or her family as she dedicated herself to train since she would be let go if her attendance continue to be half-assed. Anyways, she got along well with the other trainees, but had a few discord with a few concerning her background and the way she looked, but she didn't let it faze her though. She listen well, performed to her best, and worked hard to shine brightly with this new passion for music, although she still believed that vocally wise she was still incompetant. Youngdeuk and Youngdon made it bearable for her, and without them, she wouldn't know what would happen to her if they weren't around for her to talk and rant with and have a good time every now and then.
