She is quiet and shy. Ever since she was young, she was always a tad bit scared of failing, especially in front of others. Because of that, she prefers being alone when practicing or trying out new things. For she is afraid of others seeing her make a blunder and ridicule her for it. She is not the type to willingly talk to strangers, nor will she be the first one to talk. Actually having low self esteem, she often feels isolated because of her shyness. With her fanclub constantly "protecting" her, she feels even more isolated as they try to chase away her "admirers"(potential friends or friends) away. While actually wanting to be friends with others, her quietness make her seem stand-offish and cold, so not a lot of people dare to approach her. The girl is honest, however prefers to think twice before speaking up. She is extremely careful with her wording, not wanting to offend of hurt anyone.
Regardless of being shy, she does care a lot about her friends. Seo Yoon puts in a lot of effort to show her care, only to those who are close to her though. She makes little handicrafts, bakes or writes encouraging notes to brighten up their day. People tell her she's too nice for she'd invest time in making them happy rather than keeping all the good stuff for herself.
With her friends, Seo Yoon is responsible as well as reserved. Asking questions that shift the focus onto the other person instead of herself, she uses that time to observe the person's body languages before thinking of a repsonse. She is more a listener than the speaker. She doesn't interrupt others when they are talking and lets them finish their whole story. People also know they can count on her, that is why a lot of her friends like to talk to her about their problems to which she will gladly listen to. The girl can be a bit distant for she doesn't reveal much about herself and prefers listening to others. She can zone out from time to time.
As mentioned earlier, she has low self-esteem. She tends to be a bit pessismistic with things and often focuses on her weaknesses. The girl believes she isn't good enough and spends a lot of time thinking about the mistakes she has made.

Seo Yoon was born in Hong Kong. Her mother after giving birth to her for too much blood loss. For that, she grew up being hated by her father. At a young age, she would be verbally abused, saying that no one likes her and how horrible she looked.
When she was 7, her dad remarried a rich French lady, Blair who had invested in her father's business. The business began to flourish a few years later because of the investment, it turned into a multi-national corporation.
With the successful business, Blair was able to slowly change Jae Hyun's attitude towards Seo Yoon, becoming more fatherly instead of his abusive ways. However, they have a tense relationship because her dad cannot understand as to why she is so quiet and shy.
When she was 15, her dad decided to expand their business to Korea and moved there. In Korea, she realized her love for music after she was forced to join a singing contest for extra marks. It became buried under her studies and stress given by her father to do well.
She got into Kyunghee University after her dad agreed. On her first year, she was in the drama department. However, after watching a musical done by the musical department, it made her remember her love for music. On her second year, she successfully transferred to the music department, by joining that she could work with her two favorites, music and drama. She was only able to get into vocal music. She tries to join musicals to put those acting skills to use.

Seo Yoon was around her height and Young Mi didn't hesitate and made friends with her. Young Mi and Seo Yoon are the only people who got into Kyunghee University from their high school.
