I am going to be completely honest with you. I freaking love EXO.  I love them. After SHINee, they are my favorites.

That being said, I do not believe that they are better than SHINee, who have more experience, have been working their asses off all year, and are most known for their complicated and complex dance routines. EXO is full of amazing dancers, but which dance looks easier to you: Growl or Everybody? I'm not saying Growl is easy, its quite hard, I've tried learning it, but Everybody is much faster, and much more complex. Are you honestly going to tell me that Growl is difficult when Taemin is being thrown up and as soon as he lands, he has to get right into the fast movements of the song? Not only that, but they are jumping all throughout the song and still manage to sing this live without missing a beat. So again, are you going to tell me that EXO is the better dance group? Everyone knows that when it comes to dance, SHINee is #1. 

Also, I hear people saying, "OMG EXO is coming out with another album this year! They've been working so hard! Poor boys!"

Yes, they have been working hard. I won't deny that. They have come out with in 2013, one album: XOXO. Growl is a repackage. It only has two extra songs. As far as I know, none of the members are doing any individual work. That being said, they have worked extremely hard this year, and have earned every award they have received. I am proud of their work.

On the other hand, SHINee has done:

Chapter 1. Dream Girl - The Misconceptions of You (February 19th)

Fire - Japanese Single (March 13th)

Chapter 2. Why So Serious? - The Misconceptions of Me (April 29th)

Boys Meet U - album (June 26th)

Chapter 3. The Misconceptions of Us (with 2 new singles) (August 8th)

Boys Meet U - single (August 21st)

Everybody (October 14th)

And guess what? SHINee is supposedly going to have another Japanese single out this year called 3 2 1. 

On top of all of that, each member has been doing individual work, Taemin with WGM, Key with his musical, Minho with Medical Top Team and Music Core, and Onew with Royal Villa. Earlier in the year, Jonghyun was in a car accident and ended up with a broken nose but SHINee was still out their promoting, working hard. People complained while Jonghyun was out that Taemin had too many parts in "Why So Serious?" without stopping to think that "Holy crap, he must have worked extremely hard and practiced nonstop to get those parts, so he clearly deserved them." SHINee has had to constantly fly between Japan and Korea, doing concerts, promoting, and doing their individual work. 

So really. You're going to complain to me that EXO has been working harder than SHINee? Are you honestly going to tell me that EXO has been working extremely hard when they've come out with one album and a repackage this year and SHINee has come out with 4 new albums, a repackage, 2 singles, and are expecting a third?! I'm not even being bias towards SHINee here! I'm stating given facts! I am happy SHINee has been giving us to much all year, but I'd rather have them take a break and sit down that work their asses off just for people to say that EXO has been working harder!

So although EXO is indeed incredible and amazing, I do not think they are the Best Male Group. I base the best depending on how hard they have worked, and honestly, when it comes to hardwork, SHINee has them beaten by miles. Its like from here to the freaking moon. When it comes to Best Dance Performance, I do not believe that Growl is better than Dream Girl. Artist of the Year, again, based on how hard they've worked, and I'm putting this lightly when I say I think it is freaking child abuse putting any group or solo artist against SHINee.

You want to win awards? You need to work hard and earn it. EXO has worked hard, and they are extremely talented, but SHINee has been working their asses off since the beginning of the year. You cannot honestly tell me that EXO has worked harder than SHINee.

So. after reading all of this, I ask one thing of you. Vote for SHINee HERE. Show them that all of their hard work paid off. Give them what they deserve.
