- why I dislike my generation (of graphic designers) and new ones.

Let's get honest here, and when I say honest, I mean it, so if you can't handle the critism, I STRONGLY suggest you leave. Because if you get offended by my words, then that's kind of tough on your part. Don't bash me because I stated my opinion, okay?

The thing with new generations is that we aren't learning the basics. We're not original, we're not fun, we're copycats. And that's true about every generation, we copy from previous generations. Because I'm a graphic designer, let's use other designers in my generation as an example. Over 50% of us, I bet, did not learn the basic, instead, we went on tumblr, saw some tumblr edits, and decided to copy it. Most of us didn't learn from older versions of PS before upgrading to newer versions, we decided "PS7? We need to get that cause that's the "it" thing!" Most of us didn't learn from tutorials, or menotrs, or anything like that, instead we saw a poster on aff and thought "let's copy that, but change the title and call it mine." 

That's what I don't like about my generation (and yes, newer generations too). We aren't origianl, we're not fun, we're copycats. "ugh" right? But you know, I can't really do anything about it, because what happened already happened.
