observations.

Like the title said, I give you the MOST COMMON OC names I always see

Miyoung/Minyoung

Eunji / Eunmi

Shin Hye

Sumin

Hana

Haneul

Minhee

Mina (maybe, I'm not so sure)

Something w/ byul like Hanbyul or Eunbyul

Ara

Especially Ji Eun

Whenever I see Ji Eun, it reminds me of IU or secret's Ji Eun.

Lots more to add. But I think they're common coz popular authors used it first and the others follow maybe? Curious though.-.

Or people just copy the ulzzangs' name

Just my opinion here so yeah!

Lol. I know. I always avoid the overused names for my leading OCs.
I tend to see a lot of Miyoung, Minyoung, and Hana especially. But then I always see REALLY WEIRD NAMES THAT AREN'T EVEN KOREAN AND I'VE NEVER HEARD THEM BEFORE AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO PRONOUNCE THEM. Not very many Koreans will give their children English names like Evangelia (I saw that once) or Sally or whatever . I saw this one OC's name start with a Z. I forgot what it was, but it was really hard to pronounce. >_>

Not gonna lie, I search through names on Asianwiki for OC names. :)

OTL I always get the OC names by myself. If there aren't any OCs in my story then I'll just either tag the artist, model, ulzzang or just tell them in the A/N if it's a side character.
Like Kim Hayul. Race Queen and turns 28 years old the next few weeks this October. (She was rumored to be dating TOP of BIGBANG. OTL I just can't. She's too precious to me to be dating some man aside from Sunggyu. *slapped*)

Yes. But here's the thing: Korean names are like English names. If you make up something new, chances are, your kid's going to get make fun of because it's "weird"
