personality: JangMi is not your typical girl-next-door. Her confidence and high self-esteem allows her to be able to break established societal norms to stay true to herself. Constantly pushing societal boundaries, JangMi was always just "one of the guys". The only feminine thing about her is her filial attitude to her parents. She always speaks her mind and even if she's saying something blunt, she says it with a smile on her face so sometimes you can't tell if she's joking or if she's serious. Her blunt personality makes her really random because she will say whatever comes to mind. She's not someone to hide her emotions and one look on her face will tell you exactly how she's feeling. She gets mad easily, too. Oh, and this girl got swag.
background: She moved to NYC with her family when she was 3 and fell in love with the city and the people in it. Her childhood was just average and she went to college at Colombia University for business because NYU was too expensive. As the Korean economy grew and the American economy declined, she decided to part ways with her beloved city and move back to Korea for a better opportunity. Seoul was completely different from NYC because of its homogenous society but instead of conforming to it, she kept her New Yorker attitude by constantly defying the norms. She came to work in a pants suit, not a skirt. Instead of hiding who she was, she continued to stay true with the androgynous personality she became in NYC.
