Rhee Jangmi hears the ☾ calling

I'm lost inside this Forest

Username: MissRose

*Name / Nickname: Aubrey ^^

*Activity Level: 8

Plot Line: The Brain

Primary Weapon: Throwing needles | Jangmi isn't typically the type to fight with her hands and would much rather use her mind to win a battle which is why she likes this weapon. She likes that all she has to do is strap it on and she can be off without worrying about a large weapon to slow her down.

Secondary Weapon: Butterfly knife | it was her late brothers. She's not a hand to hand combat kind of girl, but its great if the time requires it, or if she needs assistance climbing or getting out of tough situations. The butterfly knife is also good in case she needs to make any quick temporary needles in the instance of losing hers.

OC Name: Rhee Jangmi

*Nickname(s): -

Birthday / Age: 31/12 | 21 years old

Birthplace / Hometown: Sulyeob

Ethnicity: 1/2 Korean, 1/2 American (of spanish and native american descent)

Spoken Languages: Fluent Korean and English

Appearance:

Jangmi is about 169cm tall and weighs a good 54kg. She's pale though her olive skin tone catches sun easily so she tans easily but luckily she was blessed with skin that takes forever to burn. Her hair is so dark it nearly looks black and is so long it reaches to mid back. It's naturally very curly but she typically leaves it up in a bun which causes the curls to be stretched and not nearly as curly as when she's fresh out of the shower. Her eyes are so dark they look black at first glance but they're a dark brown with gold flecks that shimmer if the sun hits them just right.
Dispite her height, she's got relatively short legs (one of her close friends is only 163cm and they have the same length legs) but a long curvy torso. She's rather strong and extremely flexible so although she's not the fastest hunter, she's able to quickly hide and lift herself out of trouble if need be.

Ulzzang Reference: Seo Sungkyung: one | two | three

*Extras:

- A scar on the back of her right leg just above the knee area. She got it when she sat on a bench in town after her first day of training as a hunter.
- Tiny scar underneath the curve of her chin from her childhood. She was always climbing something.
- Small round scar on the bottom of her right foot. She stepped on a rusty nail during training and was sick for weeks afterwords. Definitely did NOT enjoy the treatment.
-Each earlobe pierced just once. It was her brothers last gift to her. Though Daeho was a hunter, her parents were never comfortable with the danger he was constantly putting himself into and wanted him to have a trade to fall back on in case he "came to his senses" and quit hunting. The blacksmith in town owed their father a big favor and agreed to take Daeho on as an additional apprentice though he already had one. Daeho continued hunting but enjoyed what he was learning as well. He sneakily made this for her 14th birthday. They are simple little earrings, but he had never made anything so small before.

I'm not Red Riding Hood...

Personality:

Jangmi, though nice is constantly mistaken as distant because she's not the type to initiate contact. As "the brain" Jangmi is also constantly mistaken as weak so she takes pride in herself and stands tall and often comes off as someone who thinks they're better than everyone else. This is not the case at all. In fact, Jangmi loves making a good first impression. She's not much of a talker to people who she doesn't know well but that doesn't mean that she's anti social. She likes being alone but not being lonely and she's very much like a mother to her loved ones. Especially to the ones who are younger than her. A night owl but in no way mischevious, Jangmi may be quick at thinking but her eyes tell all so any lying should be done by someone else. She loves laughing and can find something funny in even the corniest of jokes.

Jangmi is pretty good at reading people. That being said, she doesn't trust easily but she doesn't hate easily either. Instead, she remains neutral to new faces and would much rather make her own opinions of people through interaction and observation in comparison to listening to what others have to say and believing meaningless rumors. Once you've crossed her, you'll know it. She may not say it to your face but her body language will definitely show her feelings. Jangmi isn't one to forgive easily and if she DOES forgive you, she won't forget what you did...so her trust in you will be compromised indefinitely.

Though she's "the brain" Jangmi is not all that smart in school related things. Her knowledge about the world is over flowing while her school knowledge is just slightly above average. She's clever and can catch even the slightest of mistakes but uses her instincts and knowledge earned from observing people to make smart decisions. She knows a variety of methods to sustain a sprained ankle or how to properly venom from a wound and about 15 different ways to use alcohol but she isn't the type to sit and contemplate numbers or contemplate how life works. She's a quick learner and her memory is practically photographic. She isn't very skilled in combat so she uses her knowledge as a weapon in itself. One thing that gets in Jangmi's way of doing her job properly is herself. She's so particular that despite her proud nature, she sometimes second guesses herself in difficult situations and ends up compromising herself and others. She may be quick at getting out of those particular problems and correcting her mistakes but she gets upset about doubting her instincts.

...but I think the Wolves have got me

*Background:

As a child Jangmi was known as they type who could sit and watch the grass grow. She was upbeat and would interact with others, but dispite her bright personality she was much more observant than active. The type of child who was happy to just be around people.  The only person she insisted on being with was her big brother Daeho. Jangmi spent as much time as possible attached to his hip watching his every move without missing a beat. Of course he was annoyed but as they grew up, he learned not to mind so much and just enjoy her presence. When Daeho went out on hunts, Jangmi sat in the tree just on the outskirts of the town when she wasn't busy with training. If it was raining she sat and watched out the window. Growing up, Jangmi wasn't very scared or bothered with wolves. To her, they were misunderstood.

When Jangmi was 14 her big brother was fatally injured during a hunt. He was so badly injured that she wasn't allowed to go anywhere near him as they brought him back into town. He survived with heavy medication for about a week before he passed on. Jangmi was only allowed to visit him once during that long week. Having always been so attached to him, Jangmi took the news very badly and even stopped training all together. The shock was so bad that Jangmi didn't speak a word until she began training again at the age of 16, and even then she only spoke on occasion. After her brothers death a great resentment and disliking for wolves grew and she started to wish for nothing more than to avenge her hero. The intensive training calmed her down. Her first few official hunting sessions taught her that there was more to hunting than she had expected, and she's come to learn that not only wolves are scary but hunters can be just as terrifying. She doesn't side with the wolves (not even a little bit) but she doesn't despise them the way she did after her brother passed.

Now at 21 years old, Jangmi is much like her old self. She's accepted her brothers death and learned that she should do her best to honor him and make him proud rather than lay around in mourning. Though she's praised for her wit, she wishes to be better at combat and trains every day to the point of hurting herself or even tiring herself out to the point of dehydration.

Friends

● Jung Soryong (Tasty) || 25 || alive || Soryong is a upbeat and loves to smile. Like's to on everyone's good side and loves to have fun, but he's protective and has a very sturdy sense of right and wrong. He'll be your best friend until you start doing questionable things. Thats when he becomes an authoritative figure. || 4 || Soryong was the blacksmith's other apprentice and due to his closeness to Daeho, he kind of took over Daeho's spot when he passed away. He's upbeat and funny which brings out the more lively side of Jangmi.

● Yu Barom/Rome (C-Clown) || 23 || alive || Barom is a natural born leader with a ton of promise as a hunter. He's always on his feet and his instincts are almost always on point despite being a little reckless at times. On his spare time he's joking around and doing any small jobs he can around town. || 5 || With Jangmi, Rome is attentive and goofy. He's one of the few people in town who can bring both a full sentence and a bright genuine smile to Jangmi's face. In fact, Soryong is a bit jealous of how close Barom is to Jangmi. Jangmi has a bit of a crush on Barom and though she doesn't realize it, the feelings are mutual.

Jung Jessica (SNSD) || 24 || alive || She's sarcastic but hard working. Her beauty gets her special attention around town but she doesn't like taking short cuts or getting free rides. She looks like your typical rude girl but there's much more to her than meets the eye. Jessica's family owns a popular restaurant in town and though its not her dream job, she's almost always at the restaurant helping her mother out. || 2.5 || Jessica's father was a hunter who had also passed during a hunt. She was a very helpful and encouraging component in getting Jangmi back on her feet after Daeho's death. During that time, they were very close but since Jangmi has gotten back in track, their friendship isn't quite as strong as it used to be but there's still a mutual understanding.

Rival:

Lee Saerin (OC) || 24 || Jangmi really doesn't like disliking people, and its not that she particularly "hates" Saerin, she just doesn't understand her way of thinking. Saerin is too much of a wild card for Jangmi's preferences. She's sneaky and flirtatious which catches the attention of the men of the town and she She's not your typical routine hunter and it scares Jangmi.  || Jangmi is typically so busy with her personal improvements that she doesn't think about "rivalries". Lee Saerin is her exception. She understands that Saerin has had a tough life (though she doesn't really know the details) but she also thinks that Saerin should respect that things are done a certain way. Considering that both girls aren't talkative, they respect eachothers space but that doesn't stop the thoughts that go through their minds about eachother. That being said, Saerin isn't afraid to speak her mind and that bothers Jangmi's rule abiding and motherly instincts. Saerin's competitive nature brings out the competitive nature within Jangmi.

You be the Beast and I'll be the Beauty

Love Interest: Lee Sungyeol

Personality:

Sungyeol, though a rambunctious pup at heart is also capable of being just as intimidating as his hyungs. In his human form he can be smiley one second and manly the next. He's clever and mischevious and fast so he's great at quick missions and scoping for intruders. Extremely protective, he hasn't quite gotten control of his reflexes and innate passion to protect what is his so his impulsiveness sometimes gets him into sticky situations. The type to stick to someone he trusts and make them smile at no matter what cost. His sarcasm gets him into trouble with his pack members but they are used to his ways. Even if he's not complaining about it, everyone in the entire room can tell when Sungyeol is upset. Though he's friendly and upbeat, even loneliness can catch up to this swifty wolf.

Friends

Kim Myungsoo/L (Infinite) || 20 || alive || Myungsoo is the type that can look intimidating at first glance. His blank stare is really misleading and people tend to judge based on first appearances so he's mistaken as rude but what they don't realize is that his angry glare is a thousand times scarier. Luckily, he's almost always in a good mood and he doesn't like being upset. He's a fun guy to spend time with and though he can sometimes be lazy, hes quite goofy and entertaining to be around. As a hunter he takes a rather serious turn around and becomes all work. || 4.5 || Sungyeol met Myungsoo when he was about 15 years old. Myungsoo had already begun training as a hunter and Sungyeol, being the type to wander, had made the mistake of getting into trouble with the leader of a different pack. He stumbled upon Sulyeob while in his human form and Myunsoo mistook him for a regular human boy who had been injured by wolves. Sungyeol, though a child of the moon, allowed himself to get attached to the younger boy. Myungsoo is both precious and intimidating all at once and Sungyeol has seen every little bit of Myungsoo's seemingly different personalities. Myungsoo's face lights up at the sight of the often lighthearted Sungyeol. As a wolf, Sungyeol knows he's taking huge risks to hang out with Myungsoo but he hasn't been found out and Sungyeol enjoy's Myungsoo's friendship too much to quit before things get out of hand. They are very close and Myungsoo loves to simply spend time with him.

Uee (After School) || 21 || alive || Uee is an upbeat and positive girl. She's a bit stuck up but always supporting others and keeping spirits up when things are looking a little bleak for the children of the moon. She comes from a very prominent family of strong strict wolves and has had so much training that she knows her own strengths better than some of the older and wiser wolves. || 2.0 || Uee and Sungyeol were very close as young pups. They grew up by eachothers side and had a small "thing" until they were about 15. After that point, Sungyeol was gone more often that not and it was harder for them to stay close by eachother and they lost their close relationship. They still react nicely when they see eachother and its not uncomfortable, but they don't have too much to talk about now that they've lost that connection. Uee doesn't like to admit it but she still does have a bit of a crush on him.

Yukwon (Block B) || 20 || alive || Yukwon is someone with different sides to him. He's extremely hard working but he also loves to goof around and make a racket with friends. He's very chivalrous and likes to flirt around with girls. He's also very good with his hands and is constantly making things and helping out with any buildings or heavy lifting. On nights when hunters are out, he's a very important asset due to his strength and agility. || 3.5 || Sungyeol and Yukwon have become close through hunts. There were times when they would stay together during heavy attack because Yukwon can keep up with Sungyeol. Yukwon found out about Myungsoo but keeps it a secret for Sungyeol because he's seen first hand that they are very good friends. He constantly tells Sungyeol that he needs to get things straightened out with Myungsoo for the safety of himself and his pack. The secret Yukwon holds for Sungyeol has made them closer and helped their teamwork significantly.

Kahi (solo) || 31 || alive || A natural born leader with both spunk and an attitude. No one questions Kahi's authority and when she says to do something, it gets done. She may be beautiful but when she gets angry, there's no one scarier. She's constantly in mother mode and loves her fellow pack members but will not risk the safety of her pack at all. || 3.0 || Sungyeol met Kahi when he was about 17 and was immediately scared of her protective nature. It didn't take long for her to warm up to him and welcome him to visit the pack whenever he needed. Kahi is like Sungyeol's big sister and he always has a big smile when visiting. Despite being quite a bit older than him, she's still got a lot of energy. Kahi also knows of his friendship with Myungsoo because he's told her and she's promised not to say anything to his pack because its not her problem, but she also cleared that if Myungsoo ever hunted her pack, she won't spare him just for Sungyeol. He doesn't visit her that often because her pack is kind of far.

Rival:

Yu Barom/Rome (C-Clown) || 23 || (stated above) || Barom is the type of hunter who jumps according to his instincts and Sungyeol has essentially the same instinctual habits as a wolf. Sungyeol, being a crafty wolf who is used to evading others is threatened by Barom because of his creative ways as a hunter.
