✸The Reason I Became A Witch
Personality: Jangmi at first glance is absolutely unapproachable. She looks a mixture of shy and pissed off (somehow that's possible) most of the time. Its just her thinking face. What people really don't know is that she actually likes making a good first impression upon meeting someone. She may be on the quiet side when first making friends, but that doesn't mean that she's rude or violent. Jangmi has become so used to not speaking throughout the years that it has become something almost tasking for her. She's outgoing and friendly but isn't afraid to let you know she's irritated. When Jangmi DOES speak, it means that she likes you or that she's comfortable. She's astute and insightful so when she does speak, people are quick to quiet down. Usually full of ideas and words of wisdom, she's important when it comes to making plans.

Jangmi is the type of girl who's happy with the small things in life. She enjoys window shopping and watching children play [since children are not yet corrupt]. Jangmi is a thrill seaker and loves roller coasters. No problem with trusting large equipment, but trouble trusting people is completely differen. She can find something funny in the corniest of jokes and is actually quite the daydreamer. She's a night owl, but dislikes doing reckless or loud things. She doesn't mind large groups or crowds, but she really dislikes being the focus and center of attention. She works wonders in difficult situation and she's the type to notice little mistakes. A personal perfectionist. Jangmi's eyes are her most important feature, and she's a people watcher. She takes pride in her abilities.

When angry, Jangmi is terrifying. Her glare can scare even the biggest and strongest of men to their knees [that's an overexaggeration lol, but you understand ^^] She can't ruin a whole room with her anger, it only effects the people causing her anger, and only if they look her in the eyes. BUT it works quickly. She's never killed anyone, but she's put a man into a coma before. She doesn't know where to start in order to control that part of her, but she doesn't really think that it needs to be controlled either. She believes that what she does to them, they deserved. If she doesn't like you, expect rude glares and snide, sarcastic remarks [if she speaks to you like that, its safe to say you're on her black list]. Jangmi isn't afraid to use her abilities on even the other brotherhood members that are getting on her nerves. She feels no remorse for doing what she does. To her, all of her true compassion went with her brother.

Jangmi does not trust humans anymore. She only trusts mutants like herself, and she has a hard time trusting the members of Utopia as well. All they provide are false hopes. She's not one to hurt Utopia members unless they attack first or hurt her friends, BUT she also won't befriend them. Her loyalty lies with those who protect her and her beliefs, so far, only the brotherhood fulfill that requirement.

Style: Jangmi loves to look good and be comfortable at the same time. Just because she's a member of the brotherhood doesn't mean she needs to constantly dress in dark colors or leather [though she does love leather]. If its flowy, lace, or has studs she's probably drawn to it. ESPECIALLY if its a cute article of clothing with studs. Loves the way she looks in white and pink/coral. She also likes socks and leggings. Will wear skirts and shorts as long as she's not giving the world a show when she bends over. Skirts and dresses are preferrably flowy and go mid thigh. She also likes high-low clothing. A big fan of thick sweaters and scarves in cold weather. She wears a large variety of shoes but her favorites are flats and high top sneakers. Heels are an occasional thing. She just doesn't understand when girls wear heels if they're going to be doing a lot of walking.

Family Background: Jangmi was raised a happy girl with her parents and her brother and sister. They lived in the toasty Texas where her parents owned an import/export business. When Jangmi was about 8 years old, her parents were killed in a car accident. Jangmi had been in the accident as well but she survived. The traumatic experience though, caused Jangmi to become mute for a short while. Jangmi's aunt could only take in one of the kids, so she took in Jangmi's sickly little sister and sent Jangmi and her brother Daeho to live with their grandparents in South Korea. They lived strict lives with a bitter grandmother who doted on her full Korean grandchildren. Their grandfather on the other hand was a big kid with a kind heart. After about a year, Jangmi began to speak again, but not much. When Jangmi's powers started to show, her brother told her that he too had abilities, he had been hiding it from their grandmother. One day Jangmi had seen some kids beating up a smaller kid and Jangmi got so angry that her powers acted up, causing the boys to be injured. Some elders saw and began to verbally attack. By this time, Daeho was 18 years old, so he took off with 10 year old Jangmi without saying a word to their grandparents. He took her all the way to Seoul and began working small odd jobs while they lived on the street. Eventually he saved up enough for them to get a small apartment on the outskirts of town where they lived quietly until Jangmi was about 19 years old. Their apartment went under new management and they could no longer afford to live there. Jangmi's brother was murdered one night while making a delivery for the restaurant he worked for. That was the turning point. She didn't speak much before, but after Daeho's death, she completely stopped speaking all together. No one was worth her time. ESPECIALLY humans. No mutants they had come across had ever given them a very hard time, but humans could kill so easily...just for food too! Jangmi lost her respect for people completely, and the timing was simply perfect since the brotherhood took her under their wings shortly after.
Family:

Father|Rhee Daeho|dead [55]| Jangmi doesn't remember much about her father, but she keeps a photo of when she was small where her father is asleep on the couch with a 3 year old Jangmi on his chest, sleeping also.

Mother|Rhee Marina [maiden name DeLuna]|dead [58]| Jangmi remembers her mother making her differen Spanish and American style dishes [that she greatly missed when she was sent to Korea]. 

Sister|Rhee Eunmi|18|Jangmi doesn't know how her sister is doing back in the States, and often hopes that Eunmi is a regular healthy girl. She doesn't want her sister to deal with the same prejudice she has to.

Brother|Rhee Daeho|dead [28]| Daeho was Jangmi's protector. Her idol. He was light hearted and caring beyond reason. A goofy guy that could bring a smile to her when no one else could. The origin of her optimism. Jangmi looked up to her big brother like no other. His death killed off what was left of Jangmi's will to do just about anything. She became bitter and no longer believed that things would be alright. Daeho was a mutant. He had the ability of Illusion and often used it on Jangmi when she was stressed or when there was something he really wanted to hide from her [for example, sick or dying people when they were on the streets in the winter].
Friends: 

Jessica|23|_____|Jessica is Jangmi's number one customer when it comes to hair. She's always asking for a new style. They became closer through that and Jangmi loves Jessica's sarcastic sense of humor. If they are talking, its in English. Jessica is always interested in Jangmi's love life. Jangmi is too afraid to tell her about Ken though.

Best Friend: 

xiumin|22|ice manipulation (if it was your intention to continue with the exo powers)| Xiumin is the cutest guy around to Jangmi. She thinks he's adorable. He loves how she dotes on him and loves the way he feels when she looks at him and makes his powers momentarily dissappear. He's her go to when it comes to secrets and feelings. He was the first to know that she was meeting someone from Utopia but she never told him who and he trusted her enough not to look into it.

Baro | 20| ______| Baro isn't necessarily around all the time but when he is, his playful and charismatic character draws Jangmi in. He understands that she's not always willing to open up so he doesn't try to force anyhting out of her but that doesn't mean that he doesn't try at all. He tries to get her to open up by joking around. His antics (especially his aegyo) make Jangmi giggle a lot. He might be even more protective of her than Sungyeol...its a pretty close tie at least)
Enemies: 

Jangmi see's Utopia as a whole as her enemy. If there's anyone in particular who dislikes her, she's too focused on other things to acknowledge them as just one rival.

✸Before The Dawn
Mutant Power/Ability: Photographic reflexes and Power negation [she has what is often referred to as "mystic eyes"]. Jangmi's eyes mean the world to her. She can take one look at something and completely mimic it perfectly in one try. Her photographic reflexes are often used to confuse her enemy's by using their own attacks against them. She also mixes the attacks of many people through observation to create her own style of fighting. She doesn't need any formal training for any of this because it comes naturally. Unfortunately the abilities she learns don't last. She can only maintain them for so long. In order to completely memorize moves, she must truly take time to memorize them. As for her power negation, if any mutant makes eye contact with her, they are renderred human for as long as eye contact is held. Her eyes are pitch black and she's learned ways of hypnotizing as a form of attack. She makes you vulnerable and takes what she needs. With the loss of her brother, she's become quite the pick pocket, and when in action, is quite the seductress. That's where she gets her nickname Gypsy. Another thing about her is when she's angry enough, the person she's looking at may feel pain. During her childhood years, she's made other kids sick or fall and break bones. Being young, she simply thought it was karma. That ability is one she cannot control at all. Eris is interested in training that ability within Jangmi.
How you Found Out: Jangmi only thought she was good at learning things. One day Jangmi was outside with the neighborhood kids when she caught sight of an escalading argument. Becoming more and more frustrated, she ended up yelling which caused them to look at her and almost immediately, their noses started bleeding. After a quick moment, the boy collapsed. It was after the whole situation that Jangmi's brother explained her abilities to her.
life before utopia/brotherhood: Jangmi doesn't remember much of her life in the US, but she remembers living happily while she was there. Life with her grandparents was basic. They bothered her about not speaking, but it wasn't too bad. She wishes she was treated better but it doesn't bother her much that her grandmother was more fond of her cousins. Her brother was all she needed. After her powers began to show and cause a bit of havoc, things took a slight downward turn. She first showed off by using her abilities to make herself more talented, but after hurting some kids, the community turned against her. She was treated badly by everyone in the viscinity but only for a short while before her brother decided it was time to get out of there. While living in the apartment with her brother, she was happy to be unknown, and she worked as a babysitter. When forced to move out, Jangmi put her abilities to use while her brother was out. She pickpocketed for a little extra money. After Daeho's passing, she perfected her craft with no care for any humans she came across. She didn't harm them, but she stole all she could. 

What Did Eris do to recruit you?: It didn't take much. Caught in the midst of a nighttime fight over a different mutant, Jangmi was almost hit by one of Aera's mutants but was pulled out of the way by one of the brotherhood members. It took her a moment, but in the midst of everything,  she was able to make eye contact and her attackers powers fell null. Eris caught sight of what happened and it took only a moment to convince Jangmi to side with the brothehood. There's no way she'll side with human trusting people. To Jangmi, its a deathwish.
Why Do you Feel like you belong with her?: Eris is very influential. Plus she understands Jangmi's feelings and the pain of losing Daeho.
What Caused you to want to Join Eris? Eris promised a home and a family. Thats all it took. A new family that will stand together and protect eachother.

Personality: Jaehwan is the type of guy who may seem childish but genuinely means the best for those he cares about. A little reckless and a bit too playful sometimes, he still somehow manages to keep himself out of trouble [at least when it comes to the big stuff]. He's a kid at heart but still has the ability to look and act manly EVEN while making faces or messing with the others. He doesn't admit to it but he's protective and a bit on the jealous side. He's willing to do almost anything to make sure those he cares for are okay. He's proud and loves getting things his way. Is almost always talking too loudly and he's got the funniest little things to say. Jaehwan is too curious for his own good sometimes. When things go wrong, he's first to put the blame on himself. If his friends are injured, he beats himself up for it.
How You Met: One night after a stressfull meeting, Jangmi decided to leave the mansion. She took a risk and began walking the streets of a nearby city. Upon crossing a small outdoor marketplace, she saw a guy carrying multiple heavy boxes for an old woman. He was drawing a bit of a crowd and loudly talking and making jokes so it caught Jangmi's interest. Unfortunately for him, Jaehwan looked over and made eye contact with Jangmi and lost control of his power. The sudden weight caused him to freak and look down for a second, in return getting his abilities back. After putting the boxes down, he looked around for her and she was no where to be found. He quickly finished helping the woman and ran off looking for Jangmi knowing she was a mutant [how else would he have lost control? aside from the whole sappy love-at-first-sight idea lol] When he finally found her, he was intrigued by the cold shoulder she was giving him and the way he felt physically when she looked him in the eyes. He never realized that his abilities made him so naturally tense. Jangmi refused to speak with him or trust him because she knew he wasn't in the brotherhood and he was too polite to be a rogue mutant, so he must be from Utopia. She'd glare him down and though it would stop him in his tracks, he wouldn't give up. Instead of leaving her alone, he eventually got her to speak up. It was short but that was all he needed. He quickly figured out what kind of person she was. Eventually he was requested back to Utopia. About a month later they ran into eachother again and actually held a conversation, though small. They met again and again by accident and one day he followed her secretly back to the mansion [he's one of the only Utopia members to have seen the brotherhood mansion]. Luckily it was night and he was well hidden but she noticed and was quick to scold him. Jaehwan, instead of being upset for getting scolded, was happy since he knows that being scolded means that she must like him enough to be upset. 
Relationship: Though Jangmi took so long to open up to Jaehwan, she was actually already rather fond of him early on. Jaehwan has been fond of her since he first met her. They spend as much time as they can together. Jangmi love Jaehwan's sense of humor and little random acts. Though they are close, Jangmi is worried about their friendship since they belong to different sides, while he believes that their friendship doesn't have to be limited based on the sides they stand on. As a matter of fact, he knows Jangmi's stance on the situation and is a little frustrated though he doesn't say anything. It took a while but Jangmi speaks the most when she's with him. Because of their clashing ideas, they get into small arguments about limits and boundaries. They've had countless moments of intimacy but no actual moments that would bring up a romantic relationship. They're both rather touchy so skinship is common [it was a little surprising for Jangmi at first]. What they have is sort of a mutual longing for eachother. Jaehwan definitely acts on it much more often than Jangmi does. She's concerned that she's too attached and that it will only get worse. Jaehwan on the other hand is already heavily attached, and knows that he'd do whatever, or fight anyone he had to, in order to keep her safe.
Back Up Love Interest: Kim "Ravi" Wonshik

Love Rival: Lee Sungyeol
Power: enhanced senses and relfexes | night vision [his strongest point]. Sungyeol's eyes change colors depending on the lighting he's in. During the day time when he's outside, his eyes are a black color [you can't see the pupils]. During sunset his eyes begin to turn a reddish orange color and at night his eyes are pure yellow. They also gleam if lights hit them. If he's inside during the day time, his eyes are the reddish orange color.
Personality: Sungyeol is a man of many qualities. He's playful and mischevious and almost always has something up his sleeves. His abilitites don't make it any easier on the other brotherhood members because he can play all the pranks he wants at night and still avoid retaliation. Despite his loud nature, he's honestly very sensitive [he just hides it very very well]. Fortunately his abilities provide much needed assistance to the brotherhood when on night missions. He's proud and rather good with words when necessary so he's good at getting his way. A lot stronger than he looks. Sungyeol may be a pest, but he's loyal and attached to the brotherhood members. He's always available to help and naturally wishes the best for his friends. Bitter towards humans for being so unaccepting of mutants, he's quick to volunteer for missions and isn't afraid of being a little reckless and risking his life to make sure things get done.
How You Met: During Jangmi's first mission, they were left to wait until dark to attack. She had almost fallen into a trap, but Sungyeol saw her and was quick to pull her to safety. He never looked her in the eyes, and he didn't say anything to her, instead he went back to the mission. Later on after the mission, Jangmi went up to him and thanked him. Afterwords, he began making the first attempts at conversation and befriended her.
Relationship: Sungyeol is openly protective of Jangmi. Once they got closer after their first meeting, he finally looked her in the eyes. She's the first person to see his real human eyes since his abilities began taking effect. It might have been the feeling of being human again, but ever since then, he's been enthralled with her. Wether it be the way he stands next to her or the way he gets angry when she gets into tough situations, everyone can tell that Sungyeol cares for Jangmi. Jangmi cares for him too, but they haven't confirmed a relationship. His little bursts of manliness take Jangmi by surprise [in a good way] and she's almost always hypnotized by his smile. Jangmi loves Sungyeol's ability to brighten her day. She believes that Sungyeol is a better match for her than Jaehwan because they are both on the brotherhoods side.

Crushes: 

Seo In Guk | 25? | _______ | good | In Guk is probably the only other Utopia member that Jangmi has full conversations with. The first Utopia member introduced ot Jangmi through Jaehwan, which he almost immediately regretted. Though Jangmi has increasingly grown fonder of Jaehwan, she first had eyes for In guk. Jaehwan is terribly jealous of their relationship. In Guk is Jangmi's ideal type; funny, handsome, tall, romantic, and sweet, unlike quirky Jaehwan who’s always confusing her emotions. As In Guk noticed Jangmi and Jaehwan’s relationship growing, he realized it was better to keep their relationship strictly sibling-like. 

Jung "Leo" Taekwoon | 22 | bone manipulation | bad | They are often seen sitting by each other. Both rather quiet by nature, but that doesn't make them awkward. Jangmi has a tiny crush on Taekwoon [used to be bigger when they first met but has died down] while in his opinion, he's just a strong brother figure to her. If people are surprised to see or hear Jangmi and Taekwoon speak in general, they are definitely shocked to see them speak to each other on their own accord.

How do you feel about your power? I don't mind it really...I sometimes feel bad for hurting others, but the more I think about it, they deserved it. It makes sense...I just wish I understood how to control it. Its frustrating. A love hate relationship, ya know?

How do you feel about the world? The world? heh, I wish I could say I liked it...

Do you miss your family? Of course...I didn't know my family in the states for a long part of my life, but what I remember was nice. I definitely miss Daeho though. He should be here right now.

What's your favorite color and why? White, though i love the colors pink and orange together.

How do you feel about the color red? Its gorgeous, but I prefer it to be dark and rich, rather than orangey...I'm a bit picky I guess.

Tell me your weakness: ......I - *looks down* I guess you seem trustworthy enough....I think my weakness is myself. My emotions. I'm susceptable to stress too easily. Too emotional for my own good but I can't help it. I admire those who are cool and collected, like Taekwoon.......don't make me regret telling you this.

If you could trade yor power for anything, what would you trade it for?  There was a show I watched once where this girl touched a teddy bear in the room that a murder had taken place and was able to see the murder through the eyes of the teddy bear...I've always though that would be cool. But then I would have to wear gloves all the time...must be kind of annoying...

Are you a cat or dog person? I like both but I suppose I'm more drawn to dogs. Especially the big ones with bad reps like rotties and pit bulls. Big sweeties if raised properly.

Speaking of, what's your favorite animal? I would honestly say dogs...rottweilers are my favorite though. Are my answers too simple?

How would you react to one of your loved ones dying? ........................I......I don't handle it well. Revenge I guess......Ireallydon'twanttothinkaboutthat. I'll do what I can to stop something like that from ever happening again. Once was more than enough.

Say, who's your favorite band? I really like the group Infinite. I'm sure you've heard of them. They're great huh? ^^

Comments: You are the creators so you have complete right to change my character. I don't mind if she dies, though I'd rather her live obviously lol. As for intimacy, I'm all for whatever you throw my way ^^. I love it all lol.

Suggestions: I'm really bad at scene suggestions but if one comes to mind, I'll tell you right away ^^ I know I was creeping on other apps but I totally agree with dork4byg's suggestion of a common enemy. Though the story would still flow and work really well if the Brotherhood is kept as the "bad guys".
Scene Requests: hmmmm....maybe a scene where Sungyeol starts to question where Jangmi goes and he finds out about Ken. Sungyeol being the protective type would want to fight and threaten Ken. OOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH maybe Ken would be willing to fight back. Considering ken can make things heavier and Sungyeol is extra strong and fast, it might make out for an interesting fight. Of course Jangmi would have to find a way to calm them down and convince Sungyeol that its ok.

Or maybe a scene where Ken is stuck because Jangmi is fighting with a Utopia member who got on her nerves. They could be one of the other chosen girls or one of the boys. Ken would have to figure out what to do since he's so loyal, would he pick one to help, or maybe find out a way to stop them both.
