Jangmi is the type with a sweet and elegant face and body, but unique qualities that you only see after taking a longer look. She looks like your average brunettte, but she's very misleading. Her naturally very curly dark brown hair, in the right light, shines blue, and while her eyes look a dark blue/brown, they shine with warm gold flecks in the sunlight. She's pale but has an olive skin tone that shows when she tans (she doesn't burn easily). She's great at hiding her emotions behind a blank stare, but when lying, her eyes give her away if you know her well enough. She's tall and although she doesn't look it, she's very very strong.

name: Oh Jangmi

personality: Jangmi is the epitome of silent but deadly. After the horriffic attack on her village and seeing many of her loved ones die, she sunk into her shell and stopped speaking for years. It took about four years before she spoke again, but speaking was no longer something she did easily. To hear words from Jangmi's lips means that you've earned her trust. It also means that if she speaks, it must be important. She's not a morbid or depressed person, she just doesn't want to let herself become close to others for fear that she may have to witness their deaths the way she witnessed her family's deaths. She can't be hurt the same for people she doesn't hold deep relations with. Instead of speaking, she learned how to use her silence with her previous talents of her childhood to become a strong fighter.

As a child, Jangmi was a dancer. She learned many forms of dance easily and even learned some of her brothers martial arts from copying him as he practiced. After the incident, Jangmi learned to use her eyes more than her ears and voice. Its not common, but the girls soon realized that Jangmi was more than just a quick learner. After watching sparring matches just once, Jangmi could quickly and precisely follow their moves(including difficult tasks like climbing or doing flips). She used it to her advantage to confuse her enemies by using their own attacks against them. She uses her previous knowledge of dance to provide a sturdy but graceful flow to her fighting technique. She's able to "dance" her way through battles often with little to no damage and has also become a pro pick-pocket. She loves to take enemies off guard and confuse them with her sweet smile before taking them out in a few blows. Hand to hand battle is really where she excells, though she's also pretty good with her weapon(s).

Though Jangmi is quite proud on the battle field, that pride she holds, remains only on the battle field. When with the girls, Jangmi is as soft hearted as you can get. They have taken the place of her beloved family and she cares more for them than she does for herself. People often mistake her quiet nature for stubbornness and think she's stuck up which hurts her feelings because she actually likes to make a good first impression. She's quick to smile if she sees something she likes, and she can find something funny in the corniest of jokes. Hopelessly romantic and a daydreamer. She's jealous of people who live carefree and couples who roam around openly expressing their feelings toward one another. Jangmi is an excellent observer and she's extremely clever. She works well in difficult situations and isnt angered easily, but once you make her angry or lose her trust, don't expect any respect. She holds a grudge and if you can actually gain her forgiveness, you can be sure she'll never forget what you did. She's got a glare that could have even the scariest men running.

1. She tears up when she's very angry | she finds it a sign of weakness and hates that quality about herself

1. observing others | Jangmi loves to learn about other people


preferred weapon:

1. Dual blade spear staff. She naturally keeps it in staff form and generally uses it only in staff form unless the threat is too strong. When closed, its a little over 2 feet long and when attached as the dual blade staff, its almost shoulder height. 

2. Manriki chain. Secondary.
