Her competitiveness comes from her father's side as her father is quite an athlete and hates losing. So Taryn is quite sporty and she's pretty much game for anything as long as it is appropriate. This also makes her hands-on as she prefers doing things actively as it's a better stimulation for her. Although Taryn can be easy-going and goes with the flow of her surroundings; she can be quite stubborn once she set her mind to do something or finishing it to the end. Taryn has an older sister, Karyn, who is three years older than her. Sometimes Taryn feels like she's the oldest one compare to Karyn as her sister is still young at heart in all that she does. Growing up, the sisters were never jealous of one another, as they each had their own thing going. Taryn was the star in sports competition whereas Karyn was the highly intelligent one that won spelling bees and such. Despite their differences, they were close and still connected and still found things in common with each other. Like boys, makeup, clothes, Disney movies, and the likes.
Now, how Taryn became interested in the KPOP scene, how she was given the chance to go to South Korea to join a South Korean entertainment agency, her Trainee Life,getting accepted into B.Beat Media, and the positions.
Back in 2006 is when Taryn got into KPOP thanks to her best friends Haylee and Elena who were totally obsessed about it. Taryn at first was just into it for the music, but her besties kept showing her pictures of the "hot" KPOP guys and asking her which one was better over the other. Anyways, because of them, Taryn started to pay attention to the boys and not just the music and ended up getting lure in. The first group she was shown was TVXQ and has been a fan of theirs since and considers them her forever love despite th issue happened and is split between both HoMin TVXQ and JYJ, but regardless will always support them. Micky/Yoochun is still her bias out of it all. She's not that craze like her other two friends, but she's lucky to have them as she can spazz with them however she likes beside her sister who she got into KPOP as well.
Around the late year of 2010, Taryn joined this contest that SOOMPI was hosting, SOOMPI Ulzzang 2010. She joined this forum because of her friends and how she was able to stay updated with KPOP and interact with others from all around the world and such. Anyways, SOOMPI was hosting an ulzzang contest that was in collaboration with SidusHQ's C.A.S.T. [Casting Audition and Star Training] and she joined for the fun of it since Elena and Haylee were doing it too. The contest was open to everyone and not just Koreans, so Taryn went for it because she was piqued by such a thing and she was competitive into taking the best selcas. [Self-Camera]. Anyways, after the first round, she was surprise that she made it through since there were a lot of female entries and that she wasn't that active with others on the forum and only stayed in the selling & trade thread. Well, eventually she ended up coming in first for the girls along with her male winner, Adam Lee. The two were told to come to South Korea, and Taryn thought she wouldn't go, but her friends urged her on, and even Karyn told her to take this once-in-a-lifetime chance to do something different and to see where it would lead her. Of course, Karyn had to help her convince her parents to let her do so, and so off Taryn went to a foreign country not sure what to expect at the age of 18 during her final year of high school.
Taryn's trainee life was quite hard and different for her, especially not even knowing fluent Korean at the time. She just knew very basic Korean because of the songs she always listen to. Anyways, Taryn had a different training schedule than she was ever accustomed to which was totally different from sports and wasn't sure if she would make it. Taryn was getting trained on how to memorize to sing, dance, even rap with many techniques, act, model, the 101 course on How to Be a KPOP Idol, and such. Taryn didn't realize there was so much more to being that of a KPOP idol life and she wasn't sure if she wanted to continue it as she thought it would be a breeze and she would just get acting and modeling tips. Taryn just thought that her appearance would be enough as that was the whole point to the SOOMPI Ulzzang contest about having the "best face", and she would just get on by with that. Taryn was thinking of quitting of debuting to be a KPOP artiste entertainer and thought of just being an actual regular person who appreciated others talents to entertain instead. Then again, Taryn remembered that this was the opportunity she was given and kept at it as it was something different from whatever she has known and not to disrespect those that actually wanted to pursue this kind of career path.
Taryn entered B.Beat Media thanks to her being a part of SidusHQ C.A.S.T. in 2013. Of course Taryn still had to actually auditioned for the company, but she just had a more leeway because of her connection with SidusHQ since she's been with them for close to three years. Plus, Taryn was determined to make her three years of effort worth it to actually join an actual company and not to make it go to waste. Luckily though, Taryn's skills of improvement was recognized and she was accepted, but of course she still had much to learn and she was game for anything.
Despite not being fluent in Korean nor being a native Korean, Taryn was able to spit a flow in Korean thanks to rappers like Tasha who she was a total fan of and looked up to her. Then again, Taryn enjoyed tongue twisters that semed like rapping since Chinese songs with rapping were always fun to sing along too and she enjoyed those a lot as well. [To add in dancing, she was an athlete and so her body is flexible and she was somewhat able to catch on, except not being well coordinated in it. She enjoyed expressing through motion since she wasn't that good with words like Karyn.]

Im Jaebum's ~ Jaebum is... quite hotheaded and stubborn. He gets mad easily and becomes a bit abusive, but usually it's towards s. Besides that, he's actually quick-witted and can usually figure out stuff fast, but sometimes he's not sure. Jaebum talks a lot and drones on and on about things that isn't necessary at times, but what he says majority of the time is useful and handy. It's just that he takes forever to express such things. Anyways, Jaebum is a nice, sweet, and caring guy and it really just depends on how close you are with him that he is a certain way with that particular person or a group. He can also be a bit of a prankster, a jokester, and quite playful as well, it just doesn't appear as fast and sometimes you're not sure if he is kidding or not. Seol Jun's ~ Jun is like your hot, but dorky, fun, and playful kind of guy. He can be charismatic one moment and just cast off this charming allure, but the next moment he can be all squishy and a dork. He likes messing around and playing pranks. He's mischievous and there's always this fun glint in his eyes when something entertaining is going through his head and he's just waiting for a moment to express it. And his little smirk-like side smile is just something to die for and it gives others a warning that he has found something quite amusing and interesting. Jun can be a well-behave person in certain situations and not as out-going and weird when he's with certain people or in a specific situation. Other than that, he doesn't have a problem with getting to know someone and being friendly with them to make them feel comfortable and not awkward.

While Taryn was out walking, she bumped into HIM, not knowing it was him at that time since he was covered up. HE was out alone to buy food for the rest of his the members. HIS first reaction was that he thought Taryn was a hardcore crazy fangirl that wanted his attention and was trying to do things to get HIM to notice "HER". Even though HE should of been normally calm and reserve about these kind of things in public and what not, but what with a lot of fans becoming sasaeng-like he didn't want to take any chances since he was alone. Anyways, at first Taryn was like "he's crazy" and panicked a bit and didn't know what he was going on about and so she kicked his shin and ran away from him, calling him a "crazy bastard". HE was shocked by this and so he didn't like that and chased after her for some odd reason that he could put some sense into this "sasaeng fan". Once he caught up to Taryn, they quarreled, and she finally realized who he was once he took off his hood and he removed his sunglasses as she got a good look at his face, and said his name in disbelief and shock. Taryn then apologized while calling him "sunbae", and totally ran off again, and he was confused at the whole ordeal and didn't chase after Taryn again because the whole thing was just puzzling to him. When they do meet again, it's awkward, and he realizes who she is and uses that as a form of getting to know, bothering, and teasing her.
