GRAPHIC REVIEW
DIFFICULTY: Average

« LAYOUT INSPIRED BY FOREWORD

Appeal - [Is the poster eye-catching?]: (12/15) : The graphic would definitely lure the reader into the story. The color scheme matched well; the colors were corresponding.

Text - [Does the text correspond with the graphic?]: (13/15) : the text is a bit plain, but that is okay since it is an angst poster. I liked how you looped the 'S' through the '0'. you can see some flaws in the looping, but it isn't that visible. The font was easy to read. You should change the author/designer font into something more plain, however.

Professionalism - [Does the poster look professional?]: (14/15) : The graphic is suitable for a book cover in real life. Very professianl looking.

Technique - [Did the designer place the characters well? What about the blending and texture techniques?]: (35/40) : The blending was okay. One could see the blending flaws with the two characters, due to that outstanding red spot on the poster. I really liked blending the clock texture, for it matched the title of the story. Good job on that!

Theme - [Did the poster match the theme?]: (10/15) : The poster didn't really give me an angst feeling, probably because it was a tad too bright. You should dim the poster a bit; try putting a dark-ish psd/xcf (psd for photoshop/gimp, xcf for gimp only.) if you don't use any of the following software, I would change the 'curves;' it changes the brightness. I did feel some angst, because you chose the right pictures for the characters. They look sad, that's good!

Enjoyment - [Bonus]: (4/5) : I really enjoyed reviewing your poster. Good job on making it!

OVERALL GRADE: 88/100 B
