"No leaking." - Chanyeol

 

i think it has now become a tradition in exo fandom, DAYS before the official comeback, to see unauthorized postings of songs and videos. is SM just that careless about their system's security, or are they the one purposedly letting it out in the open as a marketing strategy or sasaeng fans are just doing what they are good at, well being sasaengs?

wolf and 3.6.5. (korean, ot6 version) were leaked months before comeback. me? nah...  i initially thought it won't make it in the actual album because if it will, a multi-million dollar company like S.M. won't be that reckless. so i thought it was just some songs exo practiced on and then was neglected and some people, probably bored with life, decided to released it. (yes. i listened to the songs because i thought it won't be on the album. but ugh never again, because apparently easily-accessed leaked stuffs are actually the real things. i felt tricked.)

fast forward.

official comeback (WOLF) was announced. (i was baffled that one of the leaked songs was really part of the first comeback. how can it be that easy to have access to SM's system?) o_O

list of songs were posted and again 3.6.5. was also in it. (o_O) ----- me again. like really?

the teaser of WOLF was uploaded by SM in YT, then a day after, Wolf Dance Practice (OT12, Korean Ver.) got leaked.

the day before the albums were sold in stores, every song in Kiss Version (korean) were leaked. it was everywhere, complete with download links.

despite all the pre-emptions, XOXO made it BIG. MASSIVE. Suprisingly, sales wasn't deterred by the threat. so, well done i guess?!

 

another fast forward. another comeback. hey what do you know, GROWL dance practice (OT12) is ONCE AGAIN leaked.

shouldn't SM have been more careful now?

i don't know... i am starting to think SM is behind all of this...

i am not mad. really. just totally weirded out.

watching the video or not is a decision and i don't think it matters whether you give in to the temptation or not. as long as at the end of the day you still support the boys.

but actually spreading it or encouraging others to see it or hear it is another thing. really?!

it was taken down by YT but some still keeps on reposting it. gifs and screencaps are again, everywhere. again really?!

from what i heard, some people said a trainee leaked it and then the choreographer posted a tweet showing that he's upset, but no one really knows. what's bothering me is that people who are fans who know that exo is working hard are still spreading the video and saying that if someone wants it then just message them... LIKE SERIOUSLY? do you even care how hard exo worked to pull off something amazing to have it leaked and spread?

i admit that i did watch the practice ver. of wolf before it's released but i didn't listen to the leaked songs and i didn't watch the growl practice ver. yet cause i'm gonna wait til' their comeback. i don't think it sm would leak it because why would they block anybody who uploaded it? it makes no sense.

They've taken down the leak? Thank gosh! I'm not going to watch it. I owe it to EXO to wait patiently. I listened to Wolf and 3.6.5 because I was like, "SM would NEVER let anything leak, it must be a troll." Hearing Reol was like a slap on the face.
I think SM deliberately alerated it to OT12 so people wouldn't say that it was autotuned when it came out different, because that was only a practice ver., apparently.
SM are definitely behind this. I can just imagine how sad EXO are hearing that something was leaked again...

I watched the EXO Wolf dance practice on Dailymotion AFTER Wolf was released. I couldn't spoil it, so I'll be doing the same thing again ^^
