For starters Jay is a very stubborn and hard-headed girl, who is a bit impulsive. She tends to speak her mind or act sometimes without thinking twice about it. Still, she's very caring and loyal towards her loves ones. She's straight-foward and honest, she has a hard time lying or hiding her feelings. She's very cheerful and out-going. She's usually the one to keep everyone in check but also is fun and lively. Making others warm up to her easily. Everything she feels even though she doesn't say anything you can see it expressed in her face. She's a very hard-working and determined girl, who always gives her best at everything she does and doesn't like to do things half-heartedly. She can be a bit of a perfectionist. She's independent and likes for things to go as planned. She's practical, thinking she can't buy something today, but optimistic, thinking that she can save up and buy it next time. She's strict when it comes to work. She can be a bit nagging and sometimes is not afraid to scold someone if they've done wrong. She's understanding towards other peoples feelings however is quite dense when it comes to her own.

She's quite the curious cat, always wanting to know everything that's going on and its not so difficult because people find her approchable and tend to open up to her fast. However, she is more reserved with her own stuff, and doesn't open up as easily. She has a strong character and always tries to be in control, but her temper can get the better of her sometimes and her smart mouth can act up. Especially when she sees something unfair or feels frustrated or betrayed. She's not someone who does skinship with everyone but does and is affectionate to those who she's close with, like her friends and family. She's very polite towards the elderly and kind towards children. However, even though she's nice to people she's not a push-over. She hates to see people being bullied and is quick to put a stop to it, which has gotten her in trouble sometimes. However, she scolds them like a mother saying how would you feel if you were the one being bullied and then makes them promise never to do it again. She's playful and likes to joke around with others. She's quite a daring person but when in love she gets a bit shy and distant. She also stubbornly denies the fact that she's in love with someone. It's like a way to protect herself because she seems like a strong person but she's actually afraid of getting hurt. However, once they're together she becomes her happy, cheerful and playful self again.

• Walks - she likes to take long walks while listening to music, it calms and relaxes her.
• Beach - she has a lot of fun swiming or sitting on the sand while listening to the waves.
• Music - indie, rock, hip hop and classical music are her favorites.

• Reading - be it from Novels to Manga, she loves reading. Jane Austen is one of her favorite writers.
• Dramas and Movies and Tv-Shows Oh My! - she can watch from action to romantic comedy. She watches J and K dramas and is a fan of the Running Man variety show.
• Stars - ever since little she always remembers her mother and her going outside to stargaze. It's something that she and her mom used to do and she still does.
• Chocolate chip cookies - it's her guilty pleasure. She loves them. 
• Dogs and Puppies - she's always wanted one but her parents didn't get her one because she was alergic to fur.
• Food - she just loves food in general, it's hard for her to say no to food.

• Liars - she hates when people lie to her, she feels betrayed by them.
• Cheaters/Players - who doesn't dislike them.
• Coffee - she never really likes the bitter taste of coffee.
• Hot and humid weather - she can't stand the feeling of stickiness that humid weather provides.
• Insects - she especially dislikes spiders and cockroaches, they are just disgusting.
• Crowded places - although she is from the city, she really dislikes places where there's literally no room to breath and people are pressed against one another.
• Bullies - people who look down on others and bully them are the worst.
• Feeling useless - she hates that feeling of not being able to help or do nothing.
• Crying in front of others - She doesn't like crying in front of others, since little she's never done a tantrum or anything like that in public. She feels uncomfortable and embarrased. She doesn't like showing her weak and vulnerable side. 
• Waking up really early in the morning - she's not really that much of a morning person.

• She sleeps while hugging a big rilakkuma pillow. She can't really sleep well without hugging her pillow, and if someone sleeps next to her she tends to hug them. Like when her younger siblings slept with her when they had nightmares or in a sleepover she always hugged the person who slept next to her, and woke up the next day being trapped in Jae Mi's arms and legs.

Dissapointment - this comes as both ways, because she's afraid of being a dissapointment to others but is also afraid of others dissapointing her.

Thunder - she's always been afraid of thunder, when she was little and her younger brother wasn't even born yet, her mother had to leave her alone with a 14 year old nanny, that night a thunder storm struck and she hid away in her closet calling for her mother who didn't come. The next day her parents found her asleep in her closet with dry tears still stuck on her face. The woke her up and she cried of happiness and relief when she saw them. She relates thunder with being abandoned and alone.

Loss or death of a loved one.

• Her father gave her a part-time job in his firm. However, once she got to Eden, she started working as a waiter there, to get money for food, room/board and the money to fix her VW.

• She tends to eat a lot, but since she's very energetic and moves around a lot, she doesn't really gain weight that easily.

* history :

Jae Mi was born in Seattle Washington. She lived there until she was 7 years old, when her father decided that they should move back to Korea. Her two younger brothers were already born, 5 and 3 years old, while her mother was pregnant with her baby sister. They arrived in Seoul, and Jae Mi spent her elementary and middle school years. Her parents were really busy with their jobs and so Jae Mi had to grow up rather quickly and learn to take care of herself and her siblings. In middle school, Jae Mi joined the track and field club, since in her later elementary and early middle school years she was bullied for being fat. By the time she entered high school, she had already lost 60lb. Jae Mi developed a rather protective, motherly and bossy nature, with taking care of her siblings and also stand up for those who were being bullied also. That's when she started going on her little trips, she needed some time to herself, and therefore after school, or sometimes on weekends, she started going to the park in front of the Han River, she would sit and read about different cultures and countries. She started to take an interest in traveling. 

 

After she gratuated from high school, she entered Yonsei University, her mother wanted her to enter the Science Department, but Jae Mi wanted to enter Law with a minor in Languages. So after long convincing and help from her dad, her mother agreed and let her enter Law. For her freshmen year of college, her father bought for her, her dream car, a VW, as a present for entering college. She loves it, because on the weekends she could take trips with her friends or siblings, go on hikes and stuff like that which she loves.

 

That wasn't the only great thing that happened to her on her first year; she met Kim Hyun Sik. In high school, even though she had admires, she never really found someone she liked, or as she said had time for. Because studying, while having track and field practice and taking care of the kids, leaves little time for anything else. However, that all changed when she met Hyun Sik. For the first time she felt butterflies in her stomach whenever she talked to him or when he smiled at her. After a while, he asked her out and they went out for 2 years. However, after time went by something didn't really feel right with him. He was acting all weird with her, sometimes even ignoring her calls or just arguing with her about everything. She was completly confused as to why he was acting like this with her, however, two of her friends (the proud royal and the little adult), where the ones to discover why the sudden change. They saw him flirting and making out with another girl. They talked to her about it, and before she could confront him, he dumped her through a text message saying that he felt like their relationship wasn't progressing and felt like he was the only one who was giving everything but she always rejected him in some ways (as in not giving up her ity yet). The proud royal, had warned her about guys being like that but Jae Mi really thought that he would wait for her. After that, she got really sad and down but got the brilliant idea to go on a trip with her best friends and leave everything behind for a while, so that she can get herself back together. 

 

initial impression of eden/the newcomers : I wasn't really paying much attention when I passed the sign that said welcome to eden. I was too caught up in my thoughts, but after I totaled my baby VW, I noticed the small and quiet town around me, "Toto, I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore." There were no buildings anywhere in sight, few people were walking out in the street, many of them looked at us weirdly, probably because since it's a small town everyone knows each other and we definetly stood out. But I it's also quite beautiful, it doesn't have much of buildings and malls, but it has a really nice breeze, the air seems pure and the trees, flowers, well nature makes it seems really peaceful. I needed that. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to stay here for a couple of days.

→ Father | Choi Tae Won | 46 |  | CEO of a Law Firm | Protective, Old-fashioned, Caring, Reserved | He's very work oriented but with the mind of providing for his family. He's really caring and attentive towards his wife and children. He's not a man of many words but when he does talk he always seems to say the right thing. That's why Jae Mi always goes to him for advice. 

→ Mother | Lee Min Jee | 43 | Journalist | Caring, Loving, Strict, Hard-working | Jae Mi's mom is loving and caring but she's strict, she's always checking up on the kids and asking Jae Mi to set an example for the younger ones since she's the oldest. Her mother likes everything organized and to go her way. Jae Mi and her mom argue sometimes, but they love each other very much. Her mother feels a bit guilty that her work keeps her really busy and traveling, and thus feels bad for leaving Jae Mi alone taking care of her younger siblings. Her mother always expects her to do things perfectly. It's difficult for Jae Mi to say no to what her mother tells her to do. Therefore, Jae Mi looked foward to this trip as an escape and way to find herself, in order to do what she truly wants to do. 

 

 

  

→ Younger Brother | Choi Hyun Sik | 18 | High School Student | Sweet, Playful, Hard-working, Loving | Hyun Sik is really playful, funny and loving. He always seems to have a smile on his face. He's suprisingly protective of his family and friends. They argue sometimes because of his endless teasing, but once he ends up doing aegyo she can't stay mad at him. They're very close. She also bothers him, especially when she's bored, she jumps on his back for a piggyback ride, now that he's taller. They always have each others back. He always goes to her for advice. They all do. 

→ Younger Brother | Choi Min Joon | 15 | High School Student | Over-protective, Reserved, Caring, Straigh-foward | Jae Mi and Min Joon have a really close relationship. Min Joon doesn't really talk that much, and is more reserved, but when he does talk he's very straight foward saying things as they are, or at least, how he sees them. He's the genius one of the bunch. Even though he can give off a serious and cold apperance, he's actually a very caring person, who's very over-protective of his two sisters and the rest of his family. Jae Mi and him always got along really well. He's always on her side and they have each others back. He's like her baby, ever since he was born she took care of him and was always with him. 

→ Younger Sister | Choi Hye Mi | 13 | Junior High School Student | Bubbly, Talkative, Cute, Stubborn | She's the little baby of the bunch. She talks a lot, and I mean a lot! But it's fine, because she's sort of the mood-maker. Jae Mi scolds her and naggs at her a lot, she's sort of a little troublemaker. Min Joon is the only one, apart from their mother, who doesn't give in to her as easily as everybody else, but when Hye Mi uses her aegyo on any of them, it's really hard to scold or say no to her.

She quickly started talking and asking us about our trip and seemed very excited to have newcomers. She's very understanding and blunt about things, which makes Jae Mi feels very comfortable around her. They have the same working shifts, so they see each other and talk a lot.

 

→ Lee Kikwang (B2ST) | 23 | Cook at the Local Diner | Lively, Reliable, Protective, Playful | Since she had a bite of his kimbap, she fell in love. His cooking was really something else. She had to give him the compliment, after that she became a regular and always went there to talk to him. He's really cute, playful and lively, which reminded her of her own younger brother, so she opened up to him really fast. And after she got a job there, she's always asking him to teach her his recipes.

→ Kim Hyuna | 21 | Cashier at the Auto Shop / Grocery Store | Two-faced, Competitive, Manipulative, Rude | She was one of Joonmyun's many admires, she always went to the Garage to bring him food or just see him work. Once Jae Mi came into the picture she was really irritated, because she who had tried to get close to Joonmyun for years wasn't and this new girl who showed up a couple days ago is already so familiar with him. Jae Mi noticed her glares and her change of attitude once Joonmyun showed up, and if their is one thing Jae Mi dislikes it's double faced people and liars. So, from then on they both didn't get along.

At first, he seems a bit serious and reserved but he's actually a really sweet and caring guy. He's a very attractive and charismatic young man with many admires. He is good-looking, popular and well sought after among and by his peers. He's easy going and makes friends easily. Humorous, he's often the mood maker and an indispensible friend. He always seems to lift up the mood and you can't help but smile or laugh with him. He's playful, witty and a jokester, harly anyone gets bored around him. Quick-witted as well, he's a rather natural leader with brotherly instincts. He is generally friendly and likeable, but can be hard to get close to; althought he tends to be very open, he is reluctant to be serious or to talk about anything negative. He appears to be brash with his actions and tends to be boastful at some points. He is very determined and hard working, he gives his all in everything he does. He's extremly honest with his thoughts, and can often be sarcastic and insensitive when putting them foward. He's always alert and attentive towards his surroundings and towards others. His ears turn red when he gets embarrased, which is unusual. He has a radient smile appealing the girls like flies and a well-fit body; however he doens't pay much attention to them, since he's a bit dense in that area. But he's generally nice to everyone, which is a bit confusing to Jae Mi since even though he really likes her, she doesn't get it since she thinks he acts like that, as in nicely, to everyone else. So there's nothing really special about her, which is not true because he's head-over heels for her. He's a suprisingly awkward guy when it comes to love, turning nervous and saying things out loud before thinking about it...yet, he knows how to hide that side pretty well. If he falls in love with a girl and he got over that first phase of secret nervousness, though, you'll see how affectionate and romantice he is. 

Suho can sometimes be to overly-confident or cocky with his skills, but he's usually a team player. Although, he's fiercely competitive, he often does things with others interest at heart, He's a smooth talker, he always seems to know how to say the right things at the right time, and it's almost impossible to stay angry at him for long. No one really knows what he's up to, unless they know him inside out. While he has his annoying, know-it-all teasing moments, he is really attentive, understanding and caring. He's also a rather elaborate person who pays attention to minor details. He may be natually calm, but once someone has continued to relatively bash or mess around with his loved ones, his protective side comes out and he will step up for them, like a bodyguard, if they don't listen to his words he will resort to using force. It's ten times scarier simply because of how he normally has this clam and collected aura, plys the fact that he's usually kind, friendly and polite.  

All in all, Suho is a very charming and friendly person, who's liked a lot by his peers. He draws others to him and makes them feel very comfortable. He's very loyal and protective towards his loved ones. 

* first impression : Well, the first time I saw him, he had a grease stain on his cheek and he was...shirtless... *blushes* so yeah, I had a fairly good first impression of him. I counldn't really move from where I was standing and I just stared at him dumbfounded, which was really embarrasing. I umm...thought he was good-looking and sort-of cute *clears throat* But umm...no I did not go on this trip to think about guys...But yeah, he seems like a nice guy.
