Every group has their niche, something that just fits them perfectly. Like a glove. When it comes to Beast, their thing is the dark concept. Like in Breath and Fiction. It just goes so perfectly with them. With their image. With their voices. With their Style. It just works. So you can imagine my disappointment when they came out with Beautiful Night last year. Don't get me wrong, I liked the song. It was catchy. But the video and the concept... it all just felt so wrong, you know? I know they wanted to let loose and be different and do something a little more upbeat and I get that. You can only do so much morbid music. And I commend them. More power to you for your artistic freedom. But I don't like it when it branches way too far out from the image you have solidified to your fans and in Kpop in general. Especially when it all seemed so forced. For example, I Like You the Best, worked for them. Don't ask me why, it just did. But then you have songs like In Rainy Days and it just proves just how amazing they all are musically. Especially with the more mature and meaningful, emotional lyrics and sound. So much so, that it leaves an deep impact in Kpop. Basically, what I'm saying is... I really love this teaser so far and I hope it all lives up to it.
