‘We Got Married’ suffers a ratings drop despite new couple

 

Even the appearance of a brand-new couple couldn’t stop the recent downward slide for MBC‘s ‘We Got Married‘, which saw another precipitous drop in ratings for its latest episode.

According to AGB Nielson, ‘We Got Married’ recorded a nationwide rating of 6.0%, a drop of 0.3% from its previous week and a continuation of its recent trend of sliding viewership.

Although the newest episode saw the appearance of SHINee‘s Taemin and A Pink‘s Na Eun as the youngest-ever couple in the show’s history, they weren’t enough to stop the bleeding of viewers from the faux wedding variety program.

What should the show do to get higher ratings?

I agree with everyone else ^.^ I watched a bit and belive me it was more of a 'We got awkward.' There was NO chemistry. When I watched WGM in the past, there was at least some chemistry between the couples. I was sooo againt lee teuk and Sora but they turned out really cute! Umm this couple isn't meant to be, srry U____U it's just so BORING to watch the episodes now.

I wonder if these shawols want wgm to end because it's scriped + oh yeon seo issue, or they just don't really want taemin to be with any girl...because of the omg-2min-4ever-ship reasons.

I suggest they change the girl to MINHO!!!! Then they would have the highest ratings of wgm ever!!! They should stick to what people or fans usually ships for couples. Or use famous actors and actresses. Also they should really get rid of scripted acts.

They should put someone really really famous to make the ratings up again. I don't mean that Taemin is not famous but you need someone that really really famous. Maybe someone from SNSD, Super Junior, 2NE1, Big Bang, or DBSK. But it will chaos from each of their fandoms for sure. So if they want to play safe and have high ratings, just do it with famous actors and actresses. Or maybe they should famous couple among fans like Taeteuk or Seokyu

the problem is the couple actual..i mean,they suddenly pop out frm nowhere and be a couple in WGM..majority don't shipped that couple,including me myself..they r used to see naeun wth junhyung,i guess..suddenly she was paired up wth Taemin..n Taemin is usually wth either snsd sunbae or f(x),so yeah..shawols and pink pandas dnt really shipped them..

WGM ratings has always been dropping so I'm not surprise the ratings are dropping again...
I think the reason is that the show is mostly scripted and they keep on changing the couples every 6-8 months...
And from what I've seen, a lot of Shawols don't want Taemin to be on WGM (including me) so that could be a reason to it as well..
I think it's time for WGM to completely end, it's not going to be good like it use to....
