For starters, Jae Mi is a very stubborn and hard-headed girl, who is a bit impulsive. She tends to speak her mind or act sometimes without thinking twice about it. Still, she's very caring and loyal towards her loved ones. She's straight-foward and has a hard time hiding her feelings. Everything she feels even though she doesn't say anything you can see it expressed in her face. She's a very hard-working and determined girl, who gives her best at everything she does and doesn't like to do things half-heartedly. She can be a bit of a perfectionist. She's independent and likes to do things her way and as planned. She can be a bit nagging to others sometimes and is not afraid to scold someone if they've done wrong. She's understanding towards other peoples feelings however is quite dense when it comes to her own. She's quite the curious cat, always wanting to know everything that's going on and its not difficult because people find her approachable and tend to open up to her fast. However, she is more reserved with her own stuff, and doesn't open up as easily.  

She has a strong character and always tries to be in control, but her temper can het the better of her sometimes and her smart mouth can act up. Especially when she sees something unfair or feels frustrated or betrayed. If she gets betrayed, she can forgive but she's not one who can easily trust them again. She's not someone who does skinship with everyone but does and is affectionate to those who she's close with, like her friends and family. She's very polite towards the elderly and kind towards children. However, even though she's nice to people she's not a push-over. She hates to see people being bullied and is quick to put a stop to it, which has gotten her in trouble sometimes. However, she scolds them like a mother saying how would you feel if you were the one being bullied and then makes them promise never to do it again. She's quite prideful and really dislikes being made fun of or being wrong. She's playful and likes to joke around with others but when its time to study she takes it seriously. She knows when to play and joke around and when to be serious. She's quite a saring person but when in love she gets a bit shy and distant. She also stubbornly denies the fact that she's in love with someone. It's like a way to protect herself because she seems like a strong person but is actually afraid of getting hurt. However, once they're together she becomes her happy and playful self again. She was determined to make the player who hurt her best friend pay and so she was willing to get revenge, knowing the fact that she would never fall in love with that jerk. Biography :

Background : Jae Mi was born in Busan, South Korea. She spent her childhood years there. In kindergarten she met her best friend, The Runner. They lived in the same neighborhood. They would always play together and were inseperable, however when Jae Mi was 8 her parents moved to Seoul. Jae Mi always maintained contact with The Runner, she didn't want to lose her best friend. She didn't really talk much her first year at her new school, and the other kids left her alone. Still, there was one boy who always sat next to her when eating lunch or when they were in P.E. and that was The One with No Strings Attached. He was the first person to approach her and talk to her. He showed her his pokemon cards and introduced her to naruto/anime/manga. He was always really nice and sweet, and she was finally happy to have made another friend, however that didn't last long. When she turned 10 her parents moved again to Paris, her mother had a fashion show and her father had gotten a client and a contract that was for 4 years. So again Jae Mi had to say goodbye to her friends, pack up her bags and leave. She wasn't that happy, having to be the new girl again and in a foreign country was scary. But at least she would be with her parents and brothers. Suprisingly, she picked up the language fast and was already used to being The New Girl. On her second year of middle school her parents told her that they would be moving to New York. This time it didn't come as a schock or anything, she just accepted it and moved on. She was just thankful that she had The Runner as a friend. They would always make time to talk to each other and tell each other everything. Still, she looked on the bright side of thing, she loved traveling, going to new places, learning new languages and she even got over the fact that she would always be The New Girl. On her last year of high school, her parents said that they would be moving back to Seoul. Since her older brother was already studying there and Jae Mi and her other older brother announced that they were about to go to University in Korea also, her parents decided to move back to Seoul, to work but also be near them. Jae Mi was really excited, not only because she would be going to a university in Korea with her brother and cousin but also she would be seeing her best friend again. 

Lifestyle : Jae Mi belongs to the middle class. Both her parents are in the fashion industry, and they tend to travel a lot. She was always moving, however her parents decided to move back to Seoul, her older brother was already there because of university and since Jae Mi and her other older brother had decided that they would go to university in Korea too, her parents decided to move back to Seoul. They would work, travel and do everything but from there, so that they would be close to their children. However, Jae Mi and Hyun Woo were going to Unmyeong University in Incheon, so they decided to live in the dorms but in the weekends and holidays they go back home.

How you act around each other: Their both quite competitive when they play, but its fun for them. They tease each other a lot and may even annoy the other but are very close. They are always laughing or having fun. They talk to each other a lot and even though he's older than her they get along really well.

Personnality : 

Aron is quite the ladies man. He's got this serious and reserved attitude but he's actually a very sweet, caring and funny guy. He also has this mysterious air about him, as you get to know him you discover more and more charming things about him. He's very protective of his friends and caring towards them. He's hard working and tenacious. He has a really contagious smile and laugh. He's not one to really express what he's feeling or thinking, since he's more reserved in that area. He's always alert and attentive towards his surroundings and towards others, although he gives off an indiferent air. His ears turn red when he gets embarrased, which is very rare. He's outgoing and friendly but can be sarcastic, witty and loves to tease. He has confident in himself, perharps a little too much. He doesn't really need to try hard for things to go his way or for him to get things right. He's practically good at anything he does, which is why he can be cocky at times. However, things didn't go as smoothly with Jae Mi, which vexed him. 

Well, he grew up in a family with three older sisters, so he's not really shy or reserved when it comes to girls. He's friendly with them, sometimes too friendly, which can sometimes be mistaken. He's the loyal type, to his friends and also, even though he won't admit it, he's still waiting for her. He's a very smooth talker and has a very charming smile. His older sisters always made sure that he would be a gentleman, not like the jerks they were dating and so they were sometimes very harsh on him but cared for him deeply. His father always took him with him to basketball or baseball games, his father had always wanted a boy and was very glad that at their final try they had one, so he was a bit spoiled by his mother and father. In elementary, he met The New Girl. She was quiet and reserved but pretty so he was quick to talk to her. All the girls talked to him and liked him so he thought that it would be easy. However, the first time he tried talking to her, she ignored him. He was bothered by this but kept trying, he showed her his pokemon cards and talked to her everyday in recess. She slowly started opening up and they became really close. He started liking her but for the first time he felt shy and insecure around a girl. When he heard that she was moving he was really sad. He didn't tell her how he felt or that he didn't want her to go. After that, they lost contact and he became rather indiferent and flirty with girls not wanting to get attached or to feel that pain again. So, he became a bit of a playboy. How you met : A few weeks before seeing each other, The Runner had told Jae Mi about The One with No Strings Attached and their recent break up. Jae Mi couldn't believe that any guy in his right mind would dump her best friend so heartlessly and suddenly. So, she didn't really think about it twice before deciding to find out who that guy was and make him pay over what he did. She had already had a plan on how to get close to his friends and then him. Once university started she secretly looked for him, The Runner had told Jae Mi his name and his department. So, all she had to do was find him. However, it wasn't that easy. She had never seen him before and she couldn't go asking around for him either, because he couldn't be aware of her wanting to know him. She had gone to eat in the cafeteria, The Runner and Jae Bum were already waiting for her in the cafeteria. Jae Mi was already starting to give up. She picked up a tray and headed towards the line. A blonde rather tall and slim girl was in front of her, she was nagging and whinning to a guy. He was with two other guys, probably his friends, they were ordering their food. She clung to his arm and whined calling him oppa. He didn't really pay much attention to her, and shrugged her off by asking her to look for the drinks. Jae Mi rolled her eyes and stoped paying attention to them and ordered her food. Jae Mi was thinking that even though it may be risky she had to start asking about him if she ever wanted to meet him and see him. When suddenly she accidentaly bumps into the guy who the blonde haired girl was nagging at. She places the tray on the counter and was about to apoligize when he suddenly grabs her by the arm and pulls her into a tight hug. She doesn't really comprehend the situation until she hears a shriek. The guy then lets go of her and turns her towards the shrieking blonde girl, he still has his arm around her. The blonde girl sends death glares towards Jae Mi. Jae Mi was still in shock not really processing what was happening. The blonde girls eyes then turn sad and look at him while asking him who she is. He then says that Jae Mi is his girlfriend. The blonde girl throws a glare at Jae Mi, then at the guy and leaves the cafeteria crying. One of the guys friends taps his shoulder and shakes his head while saying "You really don't know how to turn down a girl nicely do ya?" The guy shrugs, and turns to Jae Mi "Sorry abou.." but he was not able to finish his sentece. Jae Mi had slapped him hard. She was furious, how can a guy be like this? He touched his cheek in utter shock of what had just happened. Jae Mi glared at him and stormed off, forgetting that she had agreed to meet with her friends in the cafeteria, forgetting her tray of yummy food and not knowing that the guy she had just slapped was the guy that she had wanted to meet. 

How you act around each other : Well, after their first meeting things didn't really go that well. She was totally furious with him and he was also annoyed but intrigued by her. Which worked out for her. Because after that, he wanted to look and find out about her. At first, it would always be him throwing flirty and teasing comments at her while she in turn replied with witty and sarcastic comments, a love-hate relationship. They then spent a lot of time together, since they discovered that they were actually going to take, not one, but a couple of classes together. They teased and argued endlessly but she then took her opportunity, to start getting close to him. After a while, she discovers that they both have actually met before and after that they both suprisingly started getting along and were starting to open up to each other. Since, she forgets herself sometimes and doesn't realize that she's being herself rather than pretending with him. He becomes more protective and aware of her while she starts to let her guard down. He does skinship naturally but when it comes to her he becomes rather shy, however she then takes the initiative and is the one to suprise him with such acts. Like casually holding his hand or ruffling his hair. He becomes more aware of how he should treat others, also he smiles and laughs more when he's with her. They both started to feel attracted to one another. He found her interesting, alluring, and familiar, she reminded him of someone. She, also, started finding him charming, sweet and caring, qualities that she never EVER thought she could think that he would posses. However, she then remembers her friend The Runner and...him... and she start to wonder, if she's really doing the right thing then why does she feel so bad about it? 

How you want your story to go : After, their incident. JB tells Jae Mi who she slapped, that it was actually Aron (TOWNSA). Jae Mi feels like her plans ruined but then decides that it may favor her so she plays hard to get. This helps her in her plan since Aron then sees her differently and is intrigued by her attitude towards him. They both tend to argue a lot at the beggining. Jae Mi eventually gets closer to Aron (TOWNSA) and he slowly starts to open up to her. He feels suspicious about how she knows so much about him and always gets this feeling when they hang out that he's met her before. She then discovers his necklace and remebers that they have met before, that he was that little boy who was her friend in elementary school. She then feels a bit guilty for what she's doing and asks how he changed so much. Jae Mi keeps forgetting herself on dates and starts to act more like herself when she's with him. So, they both see sides of each other that they like. Aron asks her to be his girlfriend and she says yes. She sees this as a perfect opportunity but at the same time somethings wrong. They go out on dates and get closer. Jae Mi is in denial about her feelings, she doesn't want to admit it. The Runner, however, notices Jae Mi's and Aron's feelings towards each other. She then has a talk with Jae Mi about them, Jae Mi denies it but then starts crying. She realizes that she really does like Aron but feels really guilty towards him and The Runner. The Runner comforts Jae Mi saying that her and Aron's relationship is a thing of the past, that she feels that Aron truly likes Jae Mi, and that she doesn't mind if they go out and have feelings for each other. (The Runner truly is the bestest friend ever) A girl fan of Aron, heard them and was quick to tell Aron. Aron didn't believe her. Jae Mi called Aron to ask him out the next day, to tell him the truth. The next day Aron told her about the weird fan girl and what he had told her. Jae Mi then told him that what the fan girl had said was the truth, she then explained everything. Aron kept a straight face and was quiet the whole time. When Jae Mi was about to say that she really fell for him and who she was (that they had met before). Aron's face turned cold and he started saying "So, I was the only one who felt something huh?" he looked up at Jae Mi with anger and sadness in his eyes. "I guess you got your revenge." He got up and started walking away. Jae Mi called him but he didn't look back. She wanted to run towards him but she couldn't move. She just stood there watching him leave, she tried calling him again but her voice cracked and tears started falling from her eyes. After they break up, Jae Mi feels really sad and ty. JB and The Runner comfort her and tell her that she should confess her feelings to him. Jae Mi shoock her head saying that "What's the point? He must be really mad with me and probably doesn't even want to see me." The Runner then does something, that she had never done before, she gets mad at Jae Mi. The Runner gets up from the table and hits Jae Mi lightly on the head. "When will you stop being so prideful and afraid?" she yelled at Jae Mi. "You love him and he loves you. You already know that he loves you but have you told him that you love him? No. So get off your prideful and go tell him!" JB and Jae Mi were looking at her wide eyed and amused. They had never seen her like this before she was always the calm and composed one, while Jae Mi was the straight-foward and hard-headed one. Jae Mi smiled and hugged her best friend. She then proceeded to go to the boys dorm and look for Aron. Stubborn Jae Mi was back. 

How you want your story to end : After Jae Mi went to look for him in his dorm. She didn't find him. She looked in every place she could think of him being but he was nowhere to be seen. She sat on a bench, under a cherry blossom tree. She looked up at the tree and stared at the falling blossoms. She took off her half heart necklace, laid down on the bench and stared at it. A Minho interrupted her trail of thought. She quickly sat up and the necklace dropped on the seat. He started talking to her and they chatted for a while. They then started to walk together to the cafeteria. Aron saw them, he was walking around the area and had fallen asleep at the other side of the tree. He woke up once he heard who Minho was talking too. He had gotten up and watched them leave together. He felt his stomach lurch and his heart hurt. He walked towards the bench Jae Mi had sat on and saw a necklace, he got closer and recognized it. It was the necklace that he and the girl he had met when they were kids had. How could he not have realized. He took his own half heart necklace and fit it with the other one, perfect fit. He looked up to see that Jae Mi was no longer in sight and started to run. Jae Mi was talking to Minho, at least she was feeling a little bit better now. She reached towards her necklace but realized that she had not put it back on again. She excused herself and started to walk out of the cafeteria when she bumped into a guy who was panting. She apoligized but then quickly realized that it was Aron. She couldn't say anything. She wanted to say so many things but nothing came out. They both started at each other for a while. Jae Mi, then blurted out "I'm really sorry. I didn't think about it. I was just mad at you for hurting my best friend. And i didn't plan to fall in love with you. I just did and..." Aron suddenly took her hand. She looked at him quiestioningly but obliged. She then saw what he was putting in her hand, her necklace. "Where did you? How did you..." She trailed off once she saw the familiar gleam in his eye. He smirked "My turn." he pulled her towards him and kissed her.

Why are you at Unmyeong : Well, one of the reasons is that her brother was attending the school, because it was a place where you can explore your options and likes before really choosing a mayor and another was that once she heard they were moving back to Korea, Jae Mi was quick to contact The Runner and ask her what University she was going to, once she heard that The Runner was going to the same University as Jae Mi's brother she was 100% sure that Unmyeong was the University for her.

How is your school life : It's really fun. She loves spending time with her friends and hanging out. Plus, all the clubs, classes and the soccer team are all to her liking. The only downside is when she's busy with her revenge plot.

How do other students view you? : They view her as someone who's very affectionate and cheerful but can also be very stubborn and impulsive. But is protective of her friends. Also someone who dared to slap The Ladie's Man and who never fails to get A's and B's despite her busy schedule.  

What do you think of the 'Spotted' page? : Well, she had never heard of it until, Bomi talked to her about it. She then started to read it but didn't think about leaving a comment. Not until she saw that The One With No Strings Attached was commenting on it. 

What do you plan to do in your life? : Jae Mi would like to do something along the lines of performance arts, she wants to become an actress and a singer.

Do you have any restrictions or demands concerning your dorm attribution? : She doesn't really mind age or field of study, just as long as they keep the bathroom clean and their side of the room tidy, no eating on the bed, and no touching or using her stuff without asking. Oh and no to people who snore.

The New Girl:

→ How does her friends (The Runner) feel about The New Girl's relationship with The One with No Strings Attached?

When The Runner knew that Jae Mi was getting close to The One with No Strings Attached to get back at him. She quickly told Jae Mi to stop it and not hurt him. She tries to convince Jae Mi that she's ok and that she's not hurt over what he did to her. However, Jae Mi being the stubborn and hard-headed girl that she is got even more determined and mad at The One with No Strings Attached because she saw that The Runner was still sad at what he did to her and even though was still protecting him. Jae Mi didn't listen and continued her plan of revenge. 

However, as time passed The Runner could see, even before Jae Mi, that she and The One with No Strings Attached were falling for one another. Jae Mi was being dense and stubborn as usual, however once she realized her own feelings she told them to The Runner, who had mixed emotions but gave her blessing. They both cried but The Runner understood and thankfully she had The Photographer to comfort her.  

→ How does she know all about him? Did her friend tell her? Did she meet him in the past?

Jae Mi knows a lot about him because she met him and befriended him for about 2-3 years when they were kids. She didn't know it was him when The Runner talked to her about him, or when they first met. She noticed he was that same little boy that she had befriended when she saw that he had the same necklace that she had. They had both went to a school trip to an amusment park when they were kids and got two necklaces that were both half a heart but once put togehter the heart was completed. She felt conflicted for a while but then decided to stick with the plan because he needed to be taught a lesson, and needed to change that playboyish and casanova jerk attitude of his. But now, she thought, she had the upper hand...the only thing she didn't think of was, what would happen...would she meet that same cute and sweet little boy that was her best friend?, would she start to have feelings for him?, would he remember her as well?

The half heart necklace is sorta like this, only it has the initials A & J on both halfs and doesn't necessarilly have to say "love waits" but it kinda fits the story if you think about it ^^

The One with No Strings Attached:

→ Who was he in love with? It can be another plotline, an idol, an oc or even The New Girl herself.  

He's always had a crush on her when they were kids but Jae Mi never knew. He never told her and once he heard she was moving he regreted not telling her. But he's always thought of her. 

→ Is he a player or just super friendly with girls? 

Maybe a bit of both. Well, he grew up in a family with three older sisters, so he's not exactly shy when it comes to girls. He's flirty with them but to him that's just being friendly. Of course, that's why most girls mistaken his "friendliness" and get hurt by him. Because even though he knows how to charm them he doesn't really know how to reject them as nicely.
