Personality: Nana is as gentle and pure as her name. She is innocent and curious, and always asking the big questions. People label her 'dopey' or 'weird', but she's really confused most of the time. She wonders alot, and is always deep in thought. She is smart though, she loves to read and is somewhat of a poetic genius. She has writing skills that are tremendous and she loves to laugh.

How you're met: Nana and Minwoo were friends since before they debuted. When Nana flew into Seoul to attend the elite Ballet academy, she met Minwoo living in the same area. The two became close quickly, and before long, he was debuting in Boyfriend as the maknae. Since Minwoo debuted, Nana gave up ballet for good, and decided to let her true passion shine, and she began auditioning for various Korean Companies.

Background: Nana grew up in New York, and studied ballet for most of her childhood. Deep in her heart she wanted to sing, but she could not bear to let her mother down. Entering her teenage years, she advanced greatly in ballet and was sent to Korea to be in the elite academy of Ballet. Growing up in Seoul, Nana met many friends, including Boyfriend's No Minwoo. The two became close friends quickly. When Minwoo debuted in Boyfriend, Nana felt inspired to pursuit her very own dreams of being an idol star, and began auditioning. Her mother did not approve, but her father, being in the same industry himself encouraged her to chase her dreams. Nana was finally accepted into HSE Talent Entertainment after being rejected numerous times by bigger companies such as SM Entertainment, JYP Entertainment, Cube Entertainment, etc. Nana began her trainee years when she was 13, and trained for three years until she debuted with Candi-Kiss as the maknae and Main (or Lead) Vocalist.
