If you're here, you have obviously read the note on Chapter 45 about the discontinuation of A Cat's Love Story. Below are fragments and explanations on what would have happened if I chose to continue the story.

There is an abundance of people flooding through the Incheon Airport gates, flashes of limbs tugging on luggages, leaving memories behind. It's not hard to spot her, with her familiar long skirt, baggy jumper and crazily curly hair. Her eyes are older, less innocent than when we first met. She's spotted me by the time that I open my mouth to speak, and in that second my eyes are only on her. Nana runs up to me, wraps her skinny arms around my torso, and I breathe in warmth, I breathe in the scent of her entire being, I breathe in the satisfying feeling of having her with me once again.

"You're back," she whispers, voice aged and soft.

"Yeah," I say, peppering kisses gently on her lips. "I missed you."

Starting off from chapter 44, I had planned on the cats disappearances holding some sort of meaning. I was going to have Kimchi (the female kitten) one of the murdered cats. The one behind the murders wasn't Hana, but Haneul. Haneul was running them over and mercilessly killing them, not out of hatred, but for vengeance of her sister.

After the fuss over the murders was over, Nana and Myungsoo would face the hardships of univsersity. Myungsoo is offered a music scholarship in America, and Nana wants to take Literature as a major in a local Korean uni. At first Myungsoo is reluctant, and is set on rejecting the offer. When Nana finds out from Yunji (who comes back momentarily), she talks with Myungsoo about the strength of their relationship, and how she wouldn't mind waiting.

Eventually, the two part (dramatic airport scene), and rather than Nana lapsing into depression (like in most cliche stories), Myungsoo is the one who feels a sense of longing and loneliness. Nana goes the same uni as Sunggyu, and Hoya (and Zelo) join her in her class. Sungyeol doesn't go to university, and becomes a full time manager at the Bear Cafe. Sungjong and Youngmin remain and high school, Woohyun goes to another university to study music, and Dongwoo goes to France.

Nana makes new friends, hangs out with Infinite & Youngmin, and generally opens up a bit. Myungsoo struggles with adapting to a new language, gets pushed around and feels incredibly alone. After many endeavours with Myungsoo and his peers in America, he eventually overcomes the conflict of their discrimination by befriending a shy Chinese boy named Lu Han. Lu Han is immensely popular simply by his adorable accent and charming good-looks, and although they have a language barrier, they become good friends. Lu Han introduces Myungsoo to his friends, and an American girl named Lisa makes various attempts to flirt with him, only to be rejected. 

Both Nana and Myungsoo adapt to college life, as well as living without each other next door. Nana's grandfather passes away, and more emotional trauma ensues. 

After a four year time lapse, Myungsoo returns, and he and Nana are reunited at the airport. They've both grown older and more mature, and the story ends happily. Lupin lives with Myungsoo, Hello has passed away. Their kittens are all alive with the exception of Kimchi. In the ending scene, Nana and Myungsoo go back to Nana's house, where the bodies of Hello and Kimchi are buried under in her backyard. They reminisce, and even after all these years, their love remains strong.

that was just a rough idea, although I wasn't going to make it that complicated. if i continued with the story, all of the conflicts AFTER the murder (leaving for america, university, the death of nana's grandpa, myungsoo's bullying, the death of hello) would probably be in a sequel story, 'A Cat's Tale' or something along the same context.
