Not me, I’m great.” If you feel like this, try to look at yourself first before pointing finger at others. There is clearly something wrong with you...

# Grumpy, easily annoyed writer

“Don’t ask me questions about the plot! Don’t nag me to update!” It sounds like someone named FujinoLover...

# Talkative writer

Generally nice and friendly, although the very very very long AN (sometimes colorful and filled with unnecessary information) can hurt the eyes.

# Attention seeker writer

“Readers~ What do you think of my writing? C’mon, tell me that I’m oh so great that I should be writing a book instead~” Needs some ego boost on daily basis to appease your insecurity? KIDS! *LMAO*

# Emotional writer

“Huhuhu... T.T My (put a ship name) heart is hurting... I can’t let them suffer any longer. I cry a river while writing this chapter, huhuhu...” If you want to write a hard genre like angst, don’t bring your shipper heart into the writing process. If you can’t do it, just stick on fluff or simple romance.

# Secretive writer

Hidden subscriber number, hidden view number, friends-only access on profile... Are you working as secret agent? Or just too arrogant to mingle around?

# Not even a writer

“What do you want me to write for the next chapter? Should they meet each other? Do you want them to fall in love? Who do you think will fit best as the third wheel? Tell me readers!” You have absolute control of your story, because it’s YOURS! Think and decide.

My suggestion:

Write for yourself, for the joy of writing. Have more confidence but not over the top where you belittle others. AFF is more encouraging for newbie writers than other fanfics site. Just be nice and people will treat you nicely too.
