I used to do this, long ago when comments began declining in number and my closest friends were still writing here, we made a pact to leave each other comment on every update. Because the most disheartening thing is when you have spent hours of writing, editing, proofreading, then you get nothing in return. So, as one of the dinosaurs here (lol), I’d like to facilitate this support system. Something like “Comment Shop” where an author can submit the link to his/her story once and by submitting, s/he also agreed to read and leave constructive criticism for other authors. Like, get fifteen comments on your story and give fifteen comments in return. An update full of links (limited to 15 links? 20?) will be out at the 27^th each month, so every participant will have one full month to fulfill the requirement. I haven’t thought much about it but I really miss us functioning as a community like we used to be and I believe this might help.
