Style Description : Minah really is okay with mostly any clothing. She hates the color pink and would never wear any clothing solely based on the color pink. Minah  prefers not to wear revealing clothes, including short/tight dresses and skirts. She’s pretty fine with wearing short shorts, though. On a typical day, Minah would throw on a nice shirt paired with either skinny jeans or short shorts and sneakers. She isn’t used to wearing high heels much, but she can walk in them. On-stage personality : Minah is a hyperactive, energetic, childish, and fun girl onstage. She always seems to have a smile and always has a positive attitude. She’s really upbeat and can also be very random. Minah can turn any awkward moment into one of happiness and joy. She’s just like a bundle of joy and sunshine. She can be very silly and goofy as well. Minah has the tendency to act like a little kid. Minah acts like this because all her life, her brother was never there for her ever since he moved to become a trainee. For once, even it was on-stage, she wanted to act as if she was the child. She wanted to act as if everyone with her was her older sibling. She just wanted to be happy.

 

 

Off-stage personalty  : Minah is a tomboy-ish girl and very lazy. She always complains when someone asks her to do something (unless they’re elders of course). She curses a lot and talks smack about people who she doesn’t like. She’s very vulgar and erted, and she likes to crack erted jokes a lot. However, deep inside, she’s not that kind of person. She hasn’t even had her first kiss yet. Anyways, Minah can be very violent with her actions and words. She doesn’t like it when people order her around because it makes her feel weak.

 

Minah has this tough exterior around her, but she knows when to be polite and act lady-like. She prefers to eat what she wants than dieting because dieting just makes her too skinny. If you mess with her or anyone close to her, she’s going to hurt you. Either physically or verbally. Usually, when she knows someone can record something or take a picture, she won’t do it because of her image.  However, even though she may act lazy, she’s very smart and gets good grades.

 

Background + History : Minah had an okay life when she lived in California. She lived with her parents, older brother Kyuhyun, and younger brother Jae Hyun. She always got good grades, was on her best behavior, and received a lot of academic awards. Her mother worked as an accountant, while her father was a chef at a restaurant. They lived in a normal two-story house. When Minah was 8 years old, Kyuhyun was accepted as a trainee at SM Entertainment. When he was accepted, he left his family and flew over there to begin his training, living with his aunt and uncle in Busan. One day when Minah was 10 years old and Jae Hyun was 6, she had taken him for a walk to go buy some candy.

Jae Hyun was run over by a train because he let go of Minah’s hand. Ever since then, Minah had blamed herself. Her father had changed his attitude towards Minah. He didn’t even act like she was there. No matter what Minah did, her father never acknowledged her. So a year later, Minah and her parents had moved to Busan, her mother’s hometown. Minah began school there and she of course did well in her school, getting straight A’s and being involved. Her parents had started up a restaurant called “Diamond Rose,” and business was booming. Minah would work as a waitress there sometimes and help take orders. Kyuhyun would sometimes visit, but Minah would ignore him because she felt like all the times she needed her older brother, he was never there for her.

Minah was 14 when she sang and danced in her school’s talent show. She was scouted by a scout of LEON Entertainment who suggested she audition. Minah had consulted her parents about it. Her mother was supportive for her and told her to go for it, while her father never said a word about. Then, Minah decided she would go ahead and audition. She got in and began as a trainee, hoping one day to prove to father she could do something and also to outshine her brother.

Cho Na Young | Mother | 43 | Restaurant Owner | She’s supportive and caring of whatever her children does. She tries to make everything be peaceful and let everyone have their way equally. She’s very nice, friendly, and open-minded. | She lets Minah have her freedom, but still disciplines her in the right way.  Na Young is very supportive of whatever Minah does and roots for her all the way. Cho Kyuhyun | Older Brother | 25 | Idol, member of Super Junior | Kyuhyun is very thoughtful and caring. He’s mature and reserved, but can also be silly and fun. He is respectful and kind, often going out of his way to do things for people. | Kyuhuyn and Minah aren’t very close. Kyuhyun makes the effort to try to get closer to his younger sister, but she never makes the effort to. She feels a grudge for him because he was never there when she needed an older brother to defend her from bullies. She had to defend herself. Minah acknowledges her brother because she doesn’t want to turn out like her father, but she doesn’t act as if he’s someone special.

Woo Sunghyun (Kevin) | Best Friend | 21 | Idol, member of U-KISS |Kevin is laid back and funny. He’s somewhat protective over Minah. He is very funny and somewhat energetic. He has a cute personality and is very respectful of his sunbaes. He can also be a little bit too apologetic. | Kevin and Minah met when she was a working as a waitress at her parent’s restaurant when she was 15. Even though she was a trainee, she still felt obliged to help at least her mother with the restaurant. One day, Minah had a hard time handling all the food on her arms at once. Kevin was with the other members of U-KISS to eat out and they saw her struggling. Kevin came to her rescue and helped her, much to her dismay. He had begun to visit the restaurant just for her and soon enough, they became best friends.| Kevin is the one who takes care of Minah a lot. He does a lot of things for her that she should be grateful for. Minah treats Kevin differently than other people. She’s nicer and doesn’t complain as often when he asks her to do something. She constantly calls him names and teases him, but Kevin knows that’s her way of showing her love. Kevin and Minah usually talk in English, but they occasionally talk in Korean.

 

Choi Junhong (Zelo) | Friends | 17 | Idol, member of B.A.P. | Zelo is very adventurous and random. He’s energetic and playful. Zelo can also be perceived to be naïve and innocent. He’s caring and protective of people around him, but he’s also very respectful. He likes to do those silent random acts of kindness, like putting a blanket on you when you sleep or making you lunch. | Zelo and   Minah met through their families. Their mothers have been close friends, so of course, their children would be introduced to each other. Minah and Zelo would occasionally talk and hang out, but once he debuted with B.A.P., Zelo got busy. They still do call each other and sometimes hang out. |Zelo and Minah act like pals. How you met/meet :  Jongup meets Minah through Zelo. When he knows Minah has a free day from her training, Zelo invites her backstage at Music Bank and introduces her to the others. She acts with her on-stage personality, so Zelo is a little skeptical.  Minah caught Jongup’s eye when Zelo pulls her aside and she talks to him with her real personality. He catches on and hides the fact that he knows.

How he acts around you: He’s somewhat shy at first, but then as you guys talk more, he’s friendly and open.
How you act around him : Minah acts with her on-stage personality, but as she hangs out with Jongup more, she finds herself revealing more and more of her true personality, something she doesn’t want to happen. She is nicer and friendlier to Jongup than to other people, and has a soft spot for him. She doesn’t pull her erted jokes around him, and acts unbelievably innocent (like a saint).

How you met/meet : Dongho met Minah the same day Kevin met her at the restaurant. Other members of U-KISS had introduced themselves to her when she took their orders after Kevin helped her with carrying the food. Minah and Dongho instantly began to argue about which drink was better. (Minah said mango juice while Dongho said iced tea) Minah had to pull herself together because she needed to attend to other people.

How does he find out?  : Since she acts like that in front of Kevin and he’s her best friend, she naturally acts like that in front of U-KISS. They learned to deal with her from the many encounters.
