Personality: Minah is a hyperactive, fun, and optimistic girl. She always has a smile on her face and never gives up. Minah is childish, always having fun and being happy. She places her bad emotions deep deep down inside her and holds it in because she thinks being sad or depressed would be a burden to others. Bio: Minah was born in San Francisco, CA and was raised there until she was about eight. Up until that time, she had a perfect family with just her and her parents. She was raised correctly and wasn’t spoiled. Her mother and father both ran a little family bakery called Golden Bear. Minah’s father, Dae Ho, did pass away when he developed Kidney Cancer. He died when Minah was 8 years old, and Minah’s mother Eun Mi decided it would be best to cremate him and bring the family to her hometown, Seoul. Minah and her mother moved into a little apartment in Seoul. Eun Mi got a job as a bank teller using her college credentials, and she was able to raise Minah well on her own. Minah practically grew up in Seoul.

She was a good student as she participated in school events, got academic awards, and got straight A’s. When Minah was 11, her mother began to see a man by the name of Lee Jae Suk. Minah was against it at first, but she knew her father would want to see her mother happy. When Minah found out Gi Kwang was the son of Jae Suk, Minah was quite shocked. Minah and Gi Kwang became step siblings a year later, and ever since then, Minah was in Gi Kwang’s shadow. They were very kind and playful to each other, but Minah had hidden feelings of being overshadowed. That same year, Minah decided to audition for TS Entertainment.

Minah decided she wanted to prove she was someone else other than “Gi Kwang’s step sister.” When she auditioned and got into TS Ent., she was overjoyed. Trainee life was hard, considering people knew her as an idol’s sibling. Although, Minah stuck through it with a smile and worked hard every single day, keeping up her grades and pleasing her family.
