personality: Jyongri is the kind of person that doesn't hide behind sweet words and sugar coats them, unless she feels that the other person can't take it, then she'll soften her words. Although in the end, Jyongri will say what she's really feeling and what she thinks, as she's an honest kind of person. She's not going to lie to save you from heartbreak or heartache, unless she knows you well enough to give you the hard truth instead of lies... although white lies she doesn't as those are smaller ones. Also... she won't be as upfront with a person if she doesn't feel comfortable, or she has had enough. Jyongri is not the kind of person that will talk to someone first either, it's usually the other person that talks to her. It's not that she's a snob or anything, Jyongri just always keeps to herself and her space until she's comfortable. Jyongri, although may appear as a bish face because she's not smiling, but she's actually quite a dork. She laughs at the littlest things, squeals over cute things whether animals or some type of plushie, and likes playing jokes and pranks on others... but she likes the playful ones, and not the harming and dangerous kind... unless those are the payback kind of pranks. Also, this has to be where she's comfortable with doing these things as everyone is different.
Jyongri is also kind of observant as she likes watching her surrounding and admiring things or just looking about her. This is what helps her artistic side in when she's creating something or needs inspiration. When something hits her, she'll stop what she's doing and has to get it down on anything. If she doesn't have any art supplies, she'll just uses the most closes thing to her and make use with what she's got. Even if it's dirt and rocks. At least it's out of her system... and she could take a photo too. She's not that serious to use other things that will damage her like her clothes, hair, and blood. That she can remain calm until she gets something more useful and rational. All in all, Jyongri is like the girl next door that you can chill and be yourself with, even at first it may not seem like so, but you have to find out about others behind the appearance that they present. It's like a book. If you don't open it to read it, you won't know why the cover is the way it is.
background: Jyongri is a fourth-generation Korean born in Japan. Her parents are third generations also born in Japan, but raised there. She grew up fairly well in Japan up until the age of 8 years old as she moved to Australia because of her father's job, and they permanently resided there. Jyongri had to grow accustomed to this new culture and environment as it was really different from Japan... especially with the time zone differences too. Although she was only taught English in school for a short amount of time, her and her brother were able to catch onto the English language, even though it was a bit hard at first... a lot hard actually, but they had to make do with where they were living and either get better at it... or not. They chose the former.
Funny thing is that... Jyongri and Sukil weren't really that fluent in Korean as the parents only spoke it to them here and there. The kids mostly spoke Japanese and English, and became very basic with Korean. It wasn't until they met Hanbyul in junior high that they actually started picking up on their great-great grandparents' native tongue. Sure it was difficult, but the kids thought it would be fun and have some way to communicate with the other Korean families that live in their neighborhood... as best as they could that is. It took a while, but Hanbyul made it fun for them to catch on... or well at least remember what they were learning to be intact in their brain.
During the first few high school years, Jyongri met Everly, and the two hit it off as great friends, and Jyongri was able to learn some basic Chinese from Everly, and Everly was able to learn some basic Japanese and Korean... although the two learned Korean a lot with each other as they both still needed to learn it as Jyongri was still not that fluent, and barely semi-conversational.
Anyways, Jyongri got into being a trainee thanks to Hanbyul as the two audition, but he made it, and she didn't, but he told her to keep on trying. Sure she wasn't really thinking it was a practical career as she did singing, dancing, rapping, and instrumental playing for fun, and as a stress reliever, but thanks to Sukil and Everly, she went through with it. Although her mother wasn't up for it, but let Jyongri try it out, and even helping her to persuade the father as he was the bigger obstacle. In the end, Jyongri was able to audition, became a trainee, and was on the road to becoming a performer.
Eventually though, Jyongri found it harder to do, as she wasn't able to be with Hanbyul to make her feel comfortable. She was teased a lot [and somewhat bullied] because although she was of Korean descent, she didn't know the language or the culture. A lot of others called her an embarrassment and that she should be ashamed of being a Korean. Although this hurt her, Jyongri actually realized that despite being of Korean descent, she grew up in a multi-cultural environment and use that as her advantage as she couldn't be closed minded about things, and had to always be positive, or well, try to at least. So Jyongri endured a lot, although fibbed a bit about her feelings when talking to her family and friends about it, but Hanbyul was the only one who knew of her true feelings and was always there whenever he could be and whenever she was able to hang out with him. Without Hanbyul, Jyongri would have returned back to Australia and continued with her studies and would have followed into a more... literal... artistic career.

interaction: What these two like to do together is play pranks on Jyongri's brother, Sukil, at times when given. Now that they are celebrities, they can't do that as Sukil is back in Australia. So the two would video chat each other, have cafe meetups to catch up on their daily lives outside of the music biz and wireless technology. Most of all, they just like having a great time and living their life like normal people and do stupid stuff like normal people too... on the safe side that is, not the stupid ones that will damage your life. He's also a skilled cooker, although he likes to experiment a lot only for fun, and likes to make s his guinea pigs in taste tasting. D.O is also a little weird, somewhat of a 4D, as he just does thing out of the blue, and just... well does his own thing. He's also observant and doesn't seem playful, but his the comfortableness that he has to feel. Also, when first meeting him, he's pretty awkward, and quite shy. interaction: When they first meet, they are really... awkward. It's the stupid kind of awkward, the silent ones, the weird ones, and all the in-between kind of awkwardness. Sure they talk, but it's the fact that... he's shy, and she's somewhat quiet, and so yeah... not much progress there, unless they are forced to just talk and get to know one another. He's an honest guy, but that doesn't mean he'll tell you his real feelings unless he has a bond with you where he knows that he can trust you. Chen is also playful, but this side is usually only shown depending how close you are, and if it involves games. He can be a real joker and prankster as well, so you have to make sure you watch your back. Also, he's pretty stubborn, so to get through to him, you have to really coax him big time. So pretty much, don't be fool by his handsome looks, there's more to him then meets the eyes.
interaction: Like all first meeting, it's awkward, but eventually these two progress into friendliness. Sure, it was a bit awkward as they were getting to know one another, but with Chen's open and hardworking personality, and Jyongri's dorky one, the two became more acquainted. It also helped that they were both born in September, even though a few days apart. But they don't stay in contact long as they don't meet or contact each other often, and so, their status just sticks to being acquaintances. Once they actually do get to know one another, then will things become more interesting for the both of them and others.
