PERSONALITY. Yeonjin is a weird person. Most of her actions and how she portrays herself doesn't always correlate with how she really is. It usually depends on how close she is to someone and the situation itself. Anyway, Yeonjin is a girl that is strong-willed. She's always having the will to continue on even if she really doesn't want to. Yeonjin will make due with it regardless. This is why she's so determined because she doesn't give up and always goes head on. Even though she doesn't do it quite quickly she'll eventually end up doing it because she can't let it go. Yeonjin is also quite responsive and will reply to almost anything and everything. Whether it's a person, animal, inanimate object, or when it's not even directed at her. This makes Yeonjin a bit noisy and chatty at times. Yeonjin can also be quite unforgiving and is why she's so strong-willed, as she doesn't forgive others so easily and can hold a bit of a grudge. BACKGROUND/HISTORY. Yeonjin is the youngest of three children and the only daughter in a family of five consisting of a father, a mother, and two older brothers. She was born in Germany due to her father's job, relocating the whole family there. Yeonjin lived in Germany until the age of five before her mother made the decision to return to South Korea with the kids in tow, leaving their father to stay in Germany. Due to this, Yeonjin grew up closer to her brothers than her parents. Her father lived miles away, only returning a few times out of the year, and her mother worked more often than she needed to. Still, Yeonjun loves them and knows they're just trying to keep their family together in their own way while still providing for them. For a while, Yeonjin felt like her parents' relationship was weird and assumed they would just leave one another, but surprisingly her parents made the long-distance relationship work out for them in the long run.
Yeonjin had never thought about being an idol or participating in anything of the entertainment world. She actually wanted to be a pro athlete as a volleyball player and play in the V-League or join a photography company and lived abroad with her father. Anyway, maybe due to her height or looks, maybe both, but Yeonjin was relentlessly chased by the same SM Entertainment representative since middle school before giving in during her second year of university. She just didn't want to keep running away and being hassled, so she just accepted the SM Rep's card and went for an audition.
