Personality: Yeonjin is a weird person. Most of her actions and how she portrays herself doesn't always correlate with how she really is. It usually depends on how close she is to someone and the situation itself. Anyway, Yeonjin is a girl that is strong-willed. She's always having the will to continue on even if she really doesn't want to. Yeonjin will make due with it regardless. This is why she's so determined because she doesn't give up and always goes head on. Even though she doesn't do it quite quickly she'll eventually end up doing it because she can't let it go. Yeonjin is also quite responsive and will reply to almost anything and everything. Whether it's a person, animal, inanimate object, or when it's not even directed at her. This makes Yeonjin a bit noisy and chatty at times. Yeonjin can also be quite unforgiving and is why she's so strong-willed, as she doesn't forgive others so easily and can hold a bit of a grudge. She's not likely to budge unless you somehow persuade her really well or bribe her with sweets and cute things.

Yeonjin can also be quite temperamental and a bit abusive due to her temper. She'll curse under her breath and ignore the person that made her angry or hit them depending if they continue to pester her even though she has warned them. If it's an inanimate object or a game, Yeonjin will end up hitting it and ask why it's acting stupid and the likes. Anyways, Kerra is very argumentative when she knows that she's right and wants to question the other person on why they think or believe what they think and believed. Yeonjin will also voice out her thoughts when she knows that the situation isn't right and or when someone is getting picked on or ganged up on. You do not want a temperamental and argumentative Yeonjin combined as she is like a bull and will rage on and on unless you shut her up somehow or distract her to make her lose her train of thought. Bribing Yeonjin with sweets or cute things do not work when she's in this state.

All in all, Yeonjin can come off as a mean person being stubborn, blunt, straightforward, and insensitive at times, but it's usually because Yeonjin doesn't know how to deal with being nice and sentimental with those she's not familiar with. It's kind of like a defense mechanism for Yeonjin to assess people and pretty much pre-judge them and for her to wonder how to go about in interacting and socializing with them. Yeonjin's pretty rough around the edges but deep, deep down inside, she's really a good person, it's just and temper that gets her into trouble. Also Yeonjin's cold attitude and indifference of looking at stuff makes her quite intimidating to approach as well. Sometimes she still wonders why she's like that and not a bit more happy-go-lucky like others she has met. Although Yeonjin has try to do so, she always bounce back to her old self with slight improvements with each attempt to be friendlier and nicer at times.

Background: Yeonjin is the youngest of two children in a family of four consisting of a father, a mother, and an older brother. She was born in Germany due to her father's job, relocating the whole family there. Yeonjin lived in Germany until the age of three before her mother made the decision to return to South Korea with the kids in tow, leaving their father to stay in Germany. Due to this, Yeonjin grew up closer to her brother than her parents, but she still loves them and knows they're just trying to keep their family together in their own way. For a while, Yeonjin felt like their relationship is weird and assumed they would just leave one another, but surprising her parents made the long-distance relationship work out for them.

Anyway, Yeonjin never planned on being an idol or going into the entertainment business in an active way. She wanted to either become a manhwa artist or work with animation in the future. Of course her parents didn't approve and wanted her to study in a different field that seemed more promising. Her father even suggested for her to come live with him and study in Germany, too. Yeonjin thought about it as a possibility, but remained firm in wanting to study in the arts field. Even her brother helped convince their parents into allowing her to study what she wanted, saying they allowed him that freedom after he, too, persuaded them. Her parents eventually relented and allowed her to study what she wanted to study. That was until a different path appeared before Yeonjin in her third year of university.

Yeonjin just happened to accompany her friend to an audition for several companies to be a trainee for the fun of it when they went to Seoul for an outing. Yeonjin somehow ended up being scouted by a JYP Entertainment representative to come to the company and audition of sorts due to her tall height and appealing face. Yeonjin brushed it off and told the person that she wasn't interested, but her friend told her to just give it a try it out since the representative seemed persistent. Plus, her friend could brag about Yeonjin to others that she had a model friend who appeared in the K-POP idols' music videos and go into acting and what not. Anyway, Yeonjin accepted the card and went for an audition of sorts, but another JYP Entertainment representative thought she had a special quality about her and that she could potentially become an idol if she worked hard at it. So, Yeonjin found herself as a trainee for JYP Entertainment instead of her friend who initially wanted to become a K-POP trainee. Her parents gave up on changing their daughter's mind.

Has a sister complex and adores his sister a little too much. Used to chase away any of Yeonjin's suitors, hung around her whenever she went out with classmates and friends. Honestly, he was quite annoying to say the least. Still, it was tough and weird for Jaeshin to see his best friend and his little sister date, but got over it as he trusts both of them to know what they wanted. He just threatened his best friend if he hurt Yeonjin, then he better be aware of the consequences afterwards. Anyway they're super close and have the usual sibling dynamics. Would bicker constantly, but have each other's backs if anything happens. Actually surprised she wanted to become an idol. Now, he slightly bothers her to get some tidbits about certain celebrities and how wide is her network connection.

— Ex-Boyfriend/Friend / Bae Hanyoung / 31 / Reliable, Friendly, Mischievous, Reserved / Her ex-boyfriend is also an event coordinator and was her brother's childhood best friend before the two even actually started dating. The relationship kinda just happened and both decided to see here it would go. The relationship only lasted a little over two years as they realized that the two of them wouldn't be anything more than what they already were. So they remained as just good friends, believing the love they have for one another isn't anything really romantic, but just platonic in a more or less affectionate manner. Still pretty close to one another and give the other advice and opinions on things as they've been through personal and intimate matters with one another. Hanyoung was equally just as surprised as Jaeshin about Yeonjin becoming an idol. He even teases her if she'll end up dating a celebrity now, too.

— Best Friend / Choi Seobin / 27 / Cheerful, Spontaneous, Curious, Warm / Her best friend since forever and the one that actually wanted to become an idol, but now works as a concierge at a luxury hotel. At first, Seobin was upset, but later stated that she'll always be Yeonjin's number one fan and supporter until the end of time. Really close and could talk about anything and everything and just be so free with one another. At one time, Seobin admitted that she had a crush on Jaeshin, but witnessing how he really is told Yeonjin that she didn't understand why she thought he was cute in the first place. Honestly thought Yeonjin and Hanyoung would last forever, but supports her friend in her new love endeavor nonetheless. Is such a fangirl that Seobin can't help, but friend the most now that Yeonjin's a part of this entertainment world. She basically ships Yeonjin with all those she interacts with out of good fun and in good-nature. Also the first one to defend her friend from antis, too.

Trained together and just knows how skilled the girl is. Hopes to just be as confident and social as her in all that she does, too.

Trainee Period: late-2017 to mid-2019
Trainee Life: In the beginning it was a tough training period for Yeonjin. She wasn't used to this kind of schedule of waking up, practicing, slightly eating, practicing some more, breaks, more practicing until late, some sleep, and again repeating it day after day. Like she could carry a tune, but kept messing up on the dance moves. Forgetting many things although she could memorize school-related stuff with ease. For Yeonjin, this was nothing like attending school and studying afterwards. It honestly had a whole different vibe to it and on another level in its own right, too. The idol training was seriously a roller coaster ride and Yeonjin kind of wanted to quit after like a year because she found it just so overwhelming, but she knew that she couldn't just quit so easily after the encouragement from Seobin, Jaeshin, and Hanyoung, too. So, getting herself together, Yeonjin toughed it out and knew that eventually she would reach her new dream to be on stage and with the others she trained with as she wanted to see them on stage as well alongside her. Others have trained just as long as perserved, if so, then she could to and see where it all would go.

Personality: Bomin appears unapproachable and seems cold-hearted, but he's really just awkward, shy, and reserved. Bomin's not one to take the initative unless he has to or feels like doing so. However, there is a rather cute side to him that totally captures your attention, too. Bomin is quite playful with those he's close with or knows well enough and can be even mischievous once he's comfortable, too. Still, Bomin remains cool, calm, collected, and is quite charismatic for the most part. All in all, Bomin is a thougtful and reliable person that's dependable, but how he interacts and behaves is at his own discretion.

History: There's really not that much of a history between the two of them honestly. Both of their groups' promotional cycles has only overlapped twice in their careers. Back in January of 2020 with Aphrodite's Lachata and Golden Child's Without You. The other in late September and Early October of 2021 with Aphrodite's Pirate and Golden Child's Ddara. Then whenever Aphrodite had a comeback between 2019 to 2020 and were interviewed by the KBS Music Bank's hosts, Choi Bomin and Shin Yeeun, would Yeonjin cross paths with him.

However, Yeonjin has been aware of Bomin and his group due to Seobin being a fan of theirs since pre-debut. Seobin's bias is Seungmin. Seobin had actually requested for Yeonjin to get an album signed when she had a chance during the two groups' promotions. Well, Yeonjin succeeded both times, but she still felt it was awkward both times for such a small favor for a friend. Due to Golden Child being a sunbae despite her being older than a majority of the members. Then again, that was not the only reason on why she felt it was awkward though.

This is because of her one and only best friend. So, here comes the fun when Seobin butts in from the sidelines of sorts. It was all fun and games before debut when Seobin was shipping Yeonjin with various idols like how all fans do of their faves, but after debutng, Seobin upped it a notch for her own entertainment at the annoyance of Yeonjin. Honestly, Yeonjin thought it was just harmless fun and what not until she realized that she would be seeing these fellow idols around and possibly interacting with them, too. It didn't help that Seobin started shipping Yeonjin with the other members of Golden Child save for Seungmin, of course, but like, still way too awkward.

What was even more awkward was when Yeonjin did get the signatures on the album the first time, Bomin had asked how she knew his sister. He thought it was weird his sister would ask Yeonjin to ask for their signatures when he could just do that himself. It's because Bomin's sister and Yeonjin's best friend both shared the same name. Before Yeonjin could explain, Bomin honestly voiced out that Yeonjin must be his sister's friend and classmate and even addressed her incorrectly. Yeonjin felt too embarrassed to correct Bomin and just let it be. After telling her friend of the incident, Seobin instantly started shipping the two even more much to Yeonjin's dismay.

However, Yeonjin hoped that they wouldn't see each other ever again to be honest after this incident. Of course, not. As Yeonjin somehow forgot that she was an actual idol herself and that promotions can overlap with many other groups, too. Also she forgot she was an MC Host on Show! Music Core and also had a supporting role in a drama that Bomin had a main role and was a part of. So, the second time around when both groups' promotions overlapped, Yeonjin explained herself better. She said that it was for a friend and that said friend had the same name as Bomin's little sister. Now it was Bomin's turn to become all shy and embarrassed instead. s had a great time laughing at the situation while Yeonjin's members nudged her playfully and out of amusement. Of course at the slight annoyance and a bit of embarrassment of Yeonjin's.

Another thing, Yeonjin has gone to both Golden Child's Seoul tours due to Seobin dragging her to them. It's just that Yeonjin has not mentioned this to anyone else, but later slips up in a casual conversation. She later backtracks to explain that it's because of Seobin and not of her own decision to do so, but out of moral support for her friend. It's a fun topic to be honest. Plus, Seobin has several times on many ocassions asked if Yeonjin could get the other Golden Child members, especially Seungmin's, to sign some official merch and what not, leaving Yeonjin in a very compromising situation at times. So, her members and even the members of Golden Child aren't sure if she's a fan of Golden Child per se, or a fan of a specific member evey now and then. 

Interactions: Very subtle. Barely there. Squint if you need to. A dash of an awkward smile here and there with a slight quick nod of acknowledgement. Is how Yeonjin would like to see it as honestly. Bomin is professional, just doing the bare minimum of human interactions with the other party. He has no idea what Yeonjin goes through at the expense of her best friend putting ideas into Yeonjin's head. She tells herself that she shouldn't be affected, but she is. It just makes any sort of interactions with other idols, especially with Bomin so very painfully awkward that she sets herself up for any clumsiness and further embarrassment. Although others actually think otherwise of what she thinks and just find Yeonjin a tad bit cuter than normal.

Ending: To be honest, it'll be cute if they somehow ended up together or at least more than what they initally were to begin with. Yet, I'm fine with them just staying how they are as well. That it's really nothing, but a fangirl's wishful thinking and fun delusion because she knows how to best friend the most. 

Status: Up in the air for now.

Extra: Honestly, I would love to see the sunbae-hoobae and noona-dongsaeng kind of dynamics between them or of others around them. Yeonjin didn't really mind the dating ban or anticipated it being lifted later. For her if it happens, then it happens. Yeonjin's been in a relationship before and have dated others before becoming a trainee, but Hanyoung was the only real one to have been called a boyfriend. Other than that, that's about it. Yeonjin never thought of dating those within the company or outside of it. Her focus was elsewhere. Anyway, since this is one of the free plotlines and I've made some things kind of vague, you're more than welcome to play around with this as much as you like if Yeonjin's chosen.
