Downvote??

Recently , there has been two new features. The Voting feature for stories and now there's the Downvote feature. The downvote feature enables the Author to downvote any reader's comment and if they do, the reader's karma will drop by one.

I kind of guess what Jason was thinking when he added this new feature. He knows many of the readers comment just for the sake of getting karma so he wishes to use this feature as a way to control those type of reader. I totally agree that this will make readers give a sincere comment but I find it unfair for some.

Some people out there do not know how to express themselves using words. So if they comment sincerely, it might seem as if they comment just for the sake of getting karma but that might not be the truth. Some are also not fluent in English.

TO ALL AUTHORS OUT THERE (Wait.. that's practically everyone..) : PLEASE DO NOT ANYHOW DOWNVOTE SOMEONE. IT HURTS TO SEE A SINCERE COMMENT GET DOWNVOTED!

omg yes. i will never use this feature unless so very much needed. and besides, i like commenting. forget about the karma.
and unless some person is writing some crap not related to the story, i dont see that actual need to downvote.

P.S when you wrote '...DO NOT ANYHOW DOWNVOTE....' it reminded me so much of Singlish (Singaporean-influenced English) that i almost started laughing :P
