This is ridiculous. Absolutely insane. Totally pointless. Okay, so to start off my rant, I’d first like to point out that ALL idols (including SHINee) are required by their respective companies to do certain things, like fan service, even if they don’t necessarily like doing it. Also, I don’t hear anyone complaining about girls’ groups (4minute comes to mind) when they’re like all up in each others’ business in music videos.

Secondly, if you don’t like it, then don’t look at it. Very simple solution. However, if you feel the need to kick Jong and Tae out of the group just because of this one incident, you need to just get over it. They had to do it, so they did it. It’s not like they were secretly plotting this and are releasing their inner angst on-stage (although I’m sure many fanfic writers would wish it were so).

Thirdly, there is NO WAY IN HELL you could be a girl that likes dudes (especially if you like SHINee) and not think that Jonghyun and Taemin’s performance was the F***ING IEST THING EVER. Like seriously, if you watched the performance and didn’t think it was hot, you have issues.

Now, I understand that some of you little Shawols are younger and cannot/should not appreciate this hotness, but while it may be a bit risque, it’s to be expected. I loved SHINee when they were super cute and adorable but you have to understand that they’re growing up just like we are. I mean, when they debuted Taemin was only 14 years old, but now he’s 19. If you’re around his age like I am, then you should think back to when you were 14 and think about how much you’ve changed in that time period. Nobody stays young and unchanging forever, so why should we hold idols to higher standards than we hold ourselves?
