Personality: She goes with the flow, is easy-going, observant, reserve, friendly, but is a bit shy. Although shy, she does make an effort to get to know someone, unless she doesn't have good vibes from them. She hates real life drama, and hates being dragged into other people business that does not need to include her. She's loyal, trustworthy, and honest. If you lie to her and break her trust, it's hard to gain it back, or never at all. She's a klutz at times and is forgetful. She treats everyone fairly and equally, although at times she'll be a bit bias if its family and friends, and the situation at hand. Overall, she's someone that you make as a friend, she'll always have your back and would never judge you or betray you, as she's someone who'll accept your flaws and won't think bad of you, unless you make her assume you as that way.

Background: She was more or less an obediant child, but she always played and messed around with her siblings, as they always loved to and because she's the baby of the family, and the other girl among the them. She did well in school, despite some kids teasing her saying she's a nerd, and that Asians (although she was half) are always smart, and all that stereotypes. She studied a lot so to improve on her education, wanting to have the knowledge so that if anything happened to her, she would be able to get herself out of it, this is what made her want to study further so she wouldn't be like those kids that say such things because of their own insecurties. She never really went out with friends unless it was for special occassions or every now and then as to not make herself socially awkward with others. She usually preferred to read and stay at home majority of the time because she never really like the night life or the whole party and wild and fun scene, but she would put up with it and make an effort if it was for her family and friends. Her parents have also taught her from her rights and wrongs, and that whatever actions she does now, it will reflect upon her later on when she's not expecting it. Her parents made sure that the kids were well-mannered (in front of others and in public, of course) and behave well (to the best of their abilities, at times), yet they didn't keep them on such a tight restriction since they learned that rebellion will happen and that destruction could happen, and so they were lenient here and there, and the kids turn out fine under their care.

Genie ends up residing in South Korea with her brothers and friends, Danika and Sarah, for 2 years now. It was because her friend, Danika, is a teacher that teaches English to kids, and had invited Genie and Sarah to come along with her for the experience, and also that she wouldn't be alone while staying abroad to teach. At this time, Genie parents gave her permission to go with her friends, but her brothers didn't like the idea, and told Genie that she couldn't go. Genie didn't like the fact that her brothers were still watching out for her, made up her mind that she was going anyways, and that their parents already gave her permission, and so she was preparing to leave to South Korea with her friends. Her brothers being protective as they were, and afraid of how their sister and her friends would survive in a place they don't know about, decided to come along as well. So pretty much, her brothers worked out their job positions somehow, and bam, all five of them were headed towards to a new life in South Korea.

How you met?: While looking for a book in the school's library, Genie took interest in a book that was too high for her to reach, and there wasn't a stool to step on, but she tried reaching for it anyways, but failing. As she was about to give up, another hand shot out and grabbed the book for her, but instead of handing it to her, he held on to it and told her that his reward for retrieving the book for her should be a kiss on the cheek. Genie rolled her eyes and flatly out told him no, and that he should just give her the book. Not liking her answer, he put the book back on the shelf and wouldn't give it to her unless he got his reward. Before thinking about it, and was already annoyed with him, Genie just ended up kicking him in the shin and jumped to retrieve the book, as it was partially sticking out, and swiftly walked away from him muttering words of how annoying that encounter was, not even giving him a second glance.

Family relationship/backgrounds: Her parents met in France, fell in love, and married. They started their own little family and had her brother, Raphael three years later, Philippe a year later, and her, Genevieve, another two years later. Genie and her brother are half-French and half-Chinese, and come from a well off family, but don't brag about it, and flaunt their status, instead they volunteer and help whenever they can, because they want to, and not to gain face and reputation. When Genie was seven, her family emigrated to Canada because of her father's job relocation, and permanently lived there. Although she is close with her parents, but because of work, they were unable to spend time with their kids at times. This then made Genie be under the care of her two brothers, and she would see them as more of her parental figures instead, and have become extremely close to them. Of course she obeys and respects her parents, but it is her brothers that she will go to to talk about anything and everything, except about female issues, that is left with her mother. Her brothers are over-protective of her as well, yet Philippe is the one that's more lenient and fun, whereas Raphael is the responsible and mature one.
