My Thoughts on SM

Sm Entertainement.

So lately I've been hearing good/bad things about the company. Do you guys reallize that they ADDED the thing about DBSk only earning 2% of their albums AFTER they had signed the contract? So when people say crap that JYJ are greedy for leaving just think about it and retrace your thoughts or something.

THEY ADDED THAT AFTER THEY SIGNED THE CONTRACT.

Not before, Not in the middle. But AFTER THE CONTRACT WAS SIGNED.

Yes I do not hate the artists for SM or Lee Soo Man, I just hate how the company overworks their idol's or any company that does this crap. My uncle told me even though he's not a K-Pop fan that contract is unfair and they deserved to get a lawsuit. Then I heard someone say well JYJ just turned their backs on SM after all the work SM did to help get them where they are today.

WTF?

It was JYJ's choice to leave! Then this Cassie asked me 'If SM is so bad, then why is it JYJ that only left the company?' ....Hangeng left the company too dear and I think a few other's but I dunno, so yes then it must be bad if four people left the company and filed lawsuits *facepalm*

I'm sorry if I make anyone offended by this but I just don't get it.

Don't you guys realize what the idol's have to go through in SM? Every single day they work so hard to please us fans, and do they get any vacation time? Yes they are celebrity's but come on even idol's need a break too ya know! If you're an SM fan I'm sorry if this offend's you but this is just  how I feel about the company.

I don't think the idol's are treated fairly, call me stupid but it's just how I feel. Lee Soo Man sounds like a pretty nice guy but guess what: We don't KNOW what the idol's really feel about him or SM Entertainement. We don't know how they really feel about the boss or Lee Soo Man, we don't know. We just don't know.

well i believe the only reason sm got where they are now is only because of DBSK.
im pretty sure they had great losses after losing shinwa and H.O.T.
completely agree with whatever u sed ^^

agree with kay_tea114 and lady_mitsuki as well... but in the end companies always think about the general income that they will get with their artists. I believe it's not just one person responsible for the maltreatment and sm is not the only company that does it.

Some people tell me that it's not specifically Lee Soo Man that is bad but other executives in the company. I can kind of understand that because it's a pretty big company, but I'm pretty sure that he knows what's going on.

Another thing people don't realise is that all of DBSK was planning on leaving, but Yunho and Changmin decided to stay.

H.O.T also broke up and left the company. Shinwa left was well.

You can't really blame the company for being that way. They have so many artists and essentially, they're a BIG BIG business at the end of the day.

I'll be very frank with you; every single company has probably exploited their artists once in a while. It's just...SM got caught.

I can sit here and talk about YG's probs, buuuut naah.
