Describe her personality: Chara has bi-polar disorder that stemmed from depression she had during her early teenage years (which I will touch upon more in the background section). Thankfully, she no longer has depression but Chara refuses to take her meds for her bi-polar disorder even though the doctor completely does not approve of it but she has learned to minimize the effects of it and make it seem like she does not have it. She does this by containing all her emotions on the inside, but she knows that is also unhealthy so what she does is that she releases all her emotions in composing songs and writing books.
She doesn't want people to know about her "condition" because she is scared they will judge her so she pushed people away and doesn't let anyone near her. She puts on a mask of being silent and emotionless, almost like a robot. It scares people away and even though she does feel lonely sometimes, she feels it's better than people finding out about her secret. She could imagine what would happen if her secret got out.She tends to disppear a lot. She could be in a room with a lot of people and then just leave without people knowing. It's not like people notice anyway. 
The only time she really talks is when she's mad because it's high amounts of stress that trigger her episodes. When she gets mad, she gets mad. She would yell at people and throw things around the room, almost like a maniac. If that happens, she can't control herself anymore. She just lets go of everything. It's scary the way she acts which is why she does everything to prevent that from happening.
To keep her stress level down, her room is very chill and relazing. It's almost like her paradise where she forgets about her problems. Playing music is another outlet for her along with writing and composing. 
She can't cook at all, so don't even ask her to try. She's lived on her own for years but has never learned how to cook. Instead, she would rely on instant ramyun or order foor but never cook. She had a kitchen in her apartment but it was more of for show than actual usage. 
Family background and history: Chara grew up in GwangJu with her mother, ChaeRin, and her father, YuChan. Her mother was a nurse and her father was an engineer. Originally, it was planned that after Chara finished high school, they would move to the States to provide a better quality of life for her so in preparation for that, Chara went to an international school so that she could learn English.
Chara was an only child but when she tunred 12, her parents gave her the news that they were expecting another child and she was ecstatic. She always wanted a little sibling and had dreams of being an older sister. Unfortunately, at the same time of ChaeRin's pregnancy, the family was in huge debt because her father was laid off his job and her mother couldn't work. Chara's parents would often fight over the bills and such so the stress led ChaeRin to have a miscarriage and she herself almost died because it was late in the pregnancy, around 6 months.
Chara, still being very young develped depression from the death of her sibling and condition of her mother. However, she did not want to worry her parents with it so she never told them how she was feeling. She blamed herself for not being able to take care of her mother and told herself she was reason everything happened. But the sad truth was that she did not even know that she had depression. Her father was under enough stress from trying to provide for the family while paying off her mother's medical bills so she didn't want to add more.
Later on, it was discovered that Chara had depression too late. She was 18, so she had been battling depression for 6 years, when she finally decided she had enough and convinced herself to commit suicide. However, her parents found out about it and stopped her before she could. They brought her to the hospital and the doctor told them that her depression was in so deep that it developed into bi-polar disorder.
Now, having psycologocal disorders is taboo in Korea so her parents wanted nothing to go with her. They sent her off the Seoul, since she was of legal age, and would give her a monthly allowance but other than that they cutt off all ties from her.

  • Her favorite band is Black Bag (an Korean indie band)
  • She has bad eyesight so she needs glasses and wears her dorky, nerd glasses (which she loves) at home but wears either her purple or gray contacts when she goes outside.
  • She keeps all her songs and stories in a box underneath her bed. Her ongoing works are in a folder the she carries everywhere so that if she has inspiration, she can write it down immediately.

How long did you train for? 2 years
How was training? It was difficult. She practically lived at the building 24/7, refusing to go back to the dorm with the other trainees, so keeping her secret from all the workers there was difficult especially when they kept trying to get close to her but after a while they just gave up. It was also difficult during the first few months because it was the first time she had to live away from her parents so it took a lot of getting used to. She had to sneak out in order to go to the hospital for her check-ups but always ended up getting caught and in trouble so eventually, she ended up not going anymore. But the thing she missed the most were her parents, unfortunately they kept pushing her away.
How you were selected? Initially, she auditioned to be just a composer. For a good few months, she would sell them songs under the name Black Widow. She was scared  to be under the spotlight but one time she used her own voice in the guide songs and the scouts heard it. They offered her a trainee contract and at first, she declined the offer but they threatened not to take anymore of her songs or sign her as a compser so she was sort of forced into it.

Amber | 19 | rapper/ singer | f(x) | friend | real | She's know for her boyish charm by her fans but she doesn have feminine qualities. She's a little dorky and she talks a lot but she respects Chara when she sees that she just needs some alone time. She doesn't force Chara to be closer but it waiting for when she finally opens up. | Just because they're "friends" doesn't mean the two are actually close. Amber is just closer to Chara in comparison to other people.
Rival: 
Yoona | 22 | Girls Generation | She's upbeat and happy. She's always there to put a smile on peoples' faces. Everyone likes her and there's no reason not to like her. | They're not rivals in a sense that they hate each other. It's more of a one-sided rivalry. Chara hates her and would give her glares whenever she sees her. She doensn't talk to Yoona, not that she talks a lot anyway. | The two just got off on the wrong foot because their personalities are so different. Chara finds her friendly and outgoing personality very annoying. It irks her that she's so happy all the time.

Kris | 22 | EXO-M | He's quiet and, like Chara, doesn't talk much at first but when you get to know him he has certain dorkiness to him that you can't really put your finger on. He has the qualities of a leader, being the leader of EXO-M and all, so he has this air of authority around him that is somewhat intimmidating but he becomes more friendly when you get closer. | They acknowledge each other's presences but they don't talk too mcu hto each other since they don't talk a lot. It's really awkward between the two.
Have you already met and how?
Nope but when they do meet, it was through Amber. Chara was haning around in the recording booth, writing a song when Amber popped in with Kris and she introduced the two. Nothing special. 
Scene Requests: 
Well, no one really knows Chara is Black Widow so I guess he would be the first to find out. Chara would accidentally leave her folder in the recording booth and Kris would find it when he was recording a song then he found out more about Char through that.
Past lovers: 
None really. Chara, being the only child and the daddy's girl had a very overprotective father and when she went to Seoul, she was too timid to get close to someone else.
