I need some help..again. I'm so needy.

Okay, so since I love South Korea sooo much (like everybody else on this site :D) for the culture, music, art, etc.....

Hehe :3 I want to ask/tell my mother if I can go this summer or next summer. (Depends if she wants to spend money now or then.) But I'm not sure how to bring it up/ask her. :/

How do I bring it up/ask her? My mother is a jokingly person but I want her to see how much it means it me and to take it seriously. If I bring it up like, "Mom, I want to vist South Korea. You know how much I love everything there, I speak their langauge, I feel like I need to vist there."

She'll act, "You want to visit cat sushi place? Okay, call me when you get the money and I'll get the blonde girl to wait for you at the airport. Maybe I can just send a package there, since it'll only cost a US stamp. Trolololololol." (Don't worry, she always jokes around. Plus, this happened before and this is what she said, lol.)

So yeah....any help? Please? :( Plus, I don't want to bring up the Korean school thing to her...just yet. Since I'm bringing this up first. I would like to ask about the Koren school too but I'll do that later since I want to look around South Korean first. :D

Explain her in a serious talk how much you love the culture and positive things about going there, that this is your dream and that you have put a lot of effort in learning the language. Also, try to be considered with her (about the money), tell your mom that she's the one that will decide, that would probably help because she would know that you care about what she thinks but she would also know that this is something very important for you. Hope it helps ;)

I'd ask her to personally sit down with you to take time to talk about it. Tell her nothing bad happened, but it's a very serious thing you'd like to talk about. Don't just bring it out of the blue, ask to have a family talk. Maybe this helps? :D I hope! Good luck.
