My actual thoughts on K-Pop and SHINee....
So I bet we all have friends that go, "Wtf, what the hell are you listening to?!"
I have those type of friends. Actually all of my friends are like this....
But personally when I discovered Kpop, I was hesitant. I used to accept any type of music but the fact that I don't understand any word from what I was listening to made me, worried?
But I ignored that fact and focused on the melodies, the type of music used. I left the videos out at the beginning, actually I did that to every song I listen to usually because I don't like a video's idea most of the time. They totally ruin the idea of a song.
But when I saw K-pop they brought that whole step-by-step dancing, which I stopped doing from the High School Musical era.
I began to learn the steps and I found an amazing feeling to it all. My dancing became better gradually and I really did feel myself change.
Why is SHINee included in this? Just to say it wasn't my first boy-group that I liked. They seemed really young at first. So i avoided them and stuck with 2pm but they didn't have any new songs at that moment. So I came to like Big Bang, CN Blue then SHINee came.
The truth is I'm not a hardcore fan of any artist, to tell you the truth I might leave SHINee in a month or so. Yeah I'm not loyal at all. I get bored really easily and I don't actually have muh interest in an Idol's personal life.
So if I get a chance to meet them what will I do?
Sadly I wouldn't be that excited on visiting them. It's just cause in the end they're humans it's what they do that I like, not who they are. I don't like the whole fan-usage-for-financial-support scheme which is used in the K-pop industry, cause after all they're not that loyal they don't really mean it when they say "Fans are like family." I know it's all sweet and who wouldn't resist, but c'mon you're the reason why they are financially successfull. Hell, that's why they became Idols in the first place! :p
But why am I a Key bias, even though I've got a critical point of view?
Key relates to me alot. I always had the feeling that he isn't recognized unlike Jonghyun and Taemin and Minho and Onew which have all participated in shows, dramas, musicals etc. He's multi-talented and his sense of fashion was the charesteristic in him that caught my eye. He's really capable of much more on a critical point of view. I know some might argue and say that I'm just bias but that is my point of view after all.
If you do have any thing against my point of view I'll accept anything wholeheartedly :)
So, how did you come to discover K-pop? And what are your actual thoughts on the globalizing industry? Feel free to Comment! :D
Sometimes I can be so y....
