So I'm not really a big fan of the vampire genre anymore, well I do like the Twilight series and I read some of Dracula...but what do you guys think about vampires?

My friend on DeviantArt told me he likes 'True vampires' but I explained to him; True vampires or any kind of vampire don't exist. I felt...kind of hurt a bit, when he said Twilight fans have bad taste in literature because they read the series ^^; I've read other books besides Twilight you know if you're a hater. I don't mind if you're a hater, but it's like: If someone hates K-Pop and insults the fans, don't you get mad and angry?

I do to when it comes to me being bashed for liking Twilight. It hurts being insulted for liking K-Pop, so it hurts also being insulted for liking Twilight saying I'm 'Unintelligent' or 'Haven't read a real vampire book'. Yeah a hater actually told me I should read a real vampire book *rolls eyes* they don't exist.

I make fun of Twilight sometimes sure, like the sparkling, how Bella is so needy of Edward for everything etc.

But do you have to go as far, as to laugh and mock the fans of the series? The Twilight fans I meet are all very sane and wonderful people.

It's like with K-Pop: You know the crazy, over obsessed, don't want their idol to get married types of fans? Do YOU like being generalized like that? No. So if you're a Twilight hater I'm sorry if this offends you I really am.

But if you hate being judged for loving K-Pop, don't judge others for liking Twilight.

I like K-Pop more than Twilight of course XD But seriously. Respect man. Respect is the key.

I don't think anyone should be judged at all actually, I did that once and I stopped because of how horrible the person felt and vowed never to do that again. *sigh* Can't we all just get along in our fandoms? ...Guess not. It's not enough to make me leave K-Pop though, never enough or Twilight.

I like what I like. You don't have to like it and I respect that ^^
